Up Next: WPT Prime Day 1B

The World Poker Tour continues its 19-day run at the world-class NagaWorld in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with its flagship tournament, WPT Prime, under the spotlight. Kicking off yesterday, the opening flight attracted 334 entries. Day 1B is expected to draw an even larger crowd as indicated by the influx of players flying in. For players to have a chance at the $750,000 guaranteed prize pool, buy in is $1,100 with nine levels of registration available. If you miss that window, there is one last flight taking place tomorrow, February 16.


Today's flight will play down to ITM of 12.5% of the field. At Day 1A, 42 players advanced led by Raffaele Sorrentino with 870,000 (87 bb). Other notables in the top 10 were Vishal Ojha, Abhishek Paul, Xiaosheng Zheng, and Yuhan Liu. Also powering through was WPT champion Pete Chen. With many fallen players, expect them to return today including defending champion Konstantin Held.
