After 11 levels of play, Day 2 comes to an end with 13 players remaining, and the big stack belongs to Yita Choong, who bagged 9,655,000 (77 big blinds). Carvalho was on a bit of a roller coaster this evening, going from the chipleader all the way down to about one million in chips and then rebounding to finish second in chips closely behind Choong.

Patrik Demus opens the action with a raise to 200,000 and it folds around to Armon van Wijk in the big blind. He uses one time bank during the final four hands of the night and then moves all-in for around 32 big blinds, Demus calls.

The flop comes Q♣ 6♠ 4♠ , Maguire checks, Van Wijk bets 175,000, and Maguire calls.

The turn card is the A♣ , Maguire checks, Van Wijk bets 600,000, and Maguire uses a Time Chip to think for a while before he calls.

The river card is the 2♠ , and both players check. Maguire shows Q♠ Q♥ to win the pot with a flopped set of queens, and Van Wijk mucks. After the hand, Van Wijk says he had an ace.

Remy Murcia min-raises from hijack and big blind Manuel Carvalho defends to take the action to the flop T♠ T♥ 6♦ . Murcia continues for 125,000, Carvalho tests him with a check-raise of 325,000, Murcia flats. The dealer then drops the turn J♠ where Carvalho takes charge for 450,000 and Murcia calls. On the river 5♦ , Carvalho tanks for one time bank then slides out 380,000, Murcia also uses a time bank then shoves 2,315,000. After the count, Carvalho calls.

Murcia shows 2♦ 2♣ which is far behind Carvalho's K♦ J♦ to exit in 15th place.

Nariman Yaghmai raises to 200,000 and receives a single caller in Alexander Puchalski out of the big blind. Puchalski check-calls for 100,000 on the A♦ Q♥ 2♣ flop and they subsequently check down the J♣ turn as well as the 3♠ on the river.

Puchalski shows J♥ T♣ for a turned pair of jacks and that wins the pot.

Micheal O'Neill moves all in from the hijack for 1,255,000, Yuan Yu raises from the button, and the rest of the players quickly fold.

O'Neill turns over A♣ Q♣ , and needs to improve to stay alive against Yu's A♠ K♠

The board comes K♥ 8♠ 3♠ 4♥ 7♣ , and Yu wins the pot with a pair of kings to eliminate O'Neill in 16th place.

Yita Choong opens for 200,000, and Chak Hei Chan with just 2 bb remaining tosses it in hoping for another double up. Though ahead with K♦ 8♣ against J♥ T♥ , the board favors Choong as it runs A♥ 4♠ J♦ T♦ 5♠ . Chan finishes in 17th place.

Chak Hei Chan is sitting at under the gun when is dealt A♣ A♦ , he raises 200,000. Big blind Khorshad Sagor defends with Q♠ J♥ to take the action to the flop K♠ Q♣ 3♠ . Chan bets 150,000 and Sagor check-calls. Chan bets again on the turn 6♣ and Sagor calls the 450,000. On the river Q♦ , Sagor checks his trips, Chan fires1,200,000 and is snap-called.

Eduard Burd raises to 225,000 and it folds to Yuan Yu, who moves all-in. Burd has around 16 blinds and calls all-in with the A♠ J♠ . Yu has the superior kicker with A♦ K♣ and stays ahead on the A♣ 6♦ 5♦ 3♣ 5♠ board.

Two hands after knocking out Yu Lin, he opens from the button and is denied the steal by big blind Alexander Puchalski. At the flop 8♥ 3♠ 5♣ , Puchalski leads out150,000, Lin shoves around a million behind, Puchalski snap-calls. Lin is stunned as he flips open T♠ 7♠ bluff.

Puchalski is ahead 8♠ 2♠ . The turn 5♦ and river 5♥ .

Khorshad Sagor three-bets an open raise by Patrik Demus and the initial raiser calls. On the Q♣ 8♣ 6♥ flop, Demus checks and then folds when he faces a bet worth 350,000.

Yita Choong is currently the clear leader and has added more to his arsenal in a hand against Remy Murcia. Catching the action on a board showing 3♠ 7♦ 7♣ 7♠ , Choong bets around half pot of 380,000 and gets called by Murcia while Andres Vasquez folds. On the river A♦ , Choong fires 850,000, again Murcia calls then mucks to Choong's A♠ Q♦ .

Nariman Yaghmai raises from the cutoff to 150,000, Eduard Burd moves all in from the big blind for 920,000, and Yaghmai calls with A 9♠ . Burd turns over 2♥ 2♣ , and needs it to hold to stay alive.

The board comes 8♦ 5♣ 4♥ 5♥ T♥ , and the pocket deuces hold up for Burd to win the pot and double up in chips.

Daniel Byshell has been grinded down to just 125,000 and tosses it in from cutoff with K♥ 5♣ , big blind Yu Lin calls and shows 9♦ 7♣ . When the board runs 9♣ 8♣ 2♦ 7♠ K♠ , Byshell thinks he survived it but Lin has two pair to send him out in 21st place.

Xiao Liu calls all-in for 675,000 when Tom Maguire in the small blind pushes into his big blind.

The A♥ 7♦ of Liu is ahead versus T♥ 6♣ and fades two live cards as well as a gutshot on the 9♣ 8♦ 4♥ 2♣ 8♣ runout.

Manuel Carvalho checks the Q♣ T♣ 5♥ 2♣ turn from the big blind and then calls for 350,000 when Nariman Yaghmai bets on the button. They check the 8♦ on the river and Yaghmai wins the pot with Q♥ 9♥ for top pair.

Yuan Yu makes it 150,000 to go and Yannick Jobin comes along out of the big blind. On a flop of Q♠ J♦ 9♠ , Jobin check-raises from 150,000 to 450,000. Yu then clicks it back to 1,150,000 and Jobin folds.

Alexander Puchalski raises from the hijack to 150,000, Vyacheslan Shin moves all in from the cutoff for 510,000, and Puchalski thinks for a while before he calls with J♦ T♠

Shin turns over A♣ K♠ , and needs it to hold to stay alive.

The board comes A♥ 8♦ 3♠ 9♥ 4♥ -- Shin flops a pair of aces, Puchalski turns an open-ended straight draw, and the river card is a blank. Shin wins the pot with his pair of aces to double up in chips.

Kaifan Wang defends his big blind by calling Tom Maguire's hijack raise of 150,000. The flop lands 2♥ 6♣ 7♠ , Wang checks to Maguire who continues for 110,000, Wang tanks for two time banks then shoves. Maguire snap-calls and both show top pair.

Maguire is ahead A♠ 7♦ , Wang needs help with J♥ 7♣ , the turn 2♦ and river 8♣ are not outs for Wang to finish in 22nd place.

Yannick Jobin raises from under the gun and Ali Hassan just flats out of the big blind. The stacks then go into the middle on the Q♣ T♠ 9♦ flop with Hassan at risk for approximately 750,000.

Yu almost wants to muck his cards before he realises the all-in and then clarifies three times that he asks for a count, somewhat difficult to understand for the dealer due to Yu wearing a mask.

The all-in is for 845,000 and Yu calls with J♥ J♦ .

Burd tables his Q♥ Q♠ and Yu jokes "okay I fold". The T♠ 5♣ 2♦ Q♣ 2♠ board further improves Burd to queens full and he doubles.

The turn shows A♠ 5♥ 4♠ A♣ and Khorshad Sagor bets 210,000. Remy Murcia raises to 700,000 and Sagor comes along. They check the Q♣ on the river and Sagor's 4♥ 3♣ is good to win the pot.

On a flop of 3♣ 3♦ 2♦ , Yuan Yu checks and Manuel Carvalho bets 240,000 for his table neighbour to check-call. The same action repeats on the 5♣ turn for 600,000 and Yu checks the 8♠ river as well.

Carvalho empties the clip and moved all-in with the covering stack. Yu calls with 9♥ 9♠ as Carvalho only briefly flashes J♥ T♠ for a bluff gone wrong. The double is worth 1,130,000 and former chip leader Carvalho drops to a shorter stack all of a sudden.

After getting chunked, Daisuke Ogita goes all in for his last 160,000, Andres Vasquez goes all in as well for 1,120,000, and with no callers, they flip it over. Vasquez dominates with A♣ K♥ over Ogita's A♥ 6♥ . The board K♣ Q♣ 9♦ 7♠ 3♦ assures the win for Vasquez for Ogita to finish in 25th place.

Yita Choong defends his big blind then flops the full house on a board Q♠ J♦ J♥ . He checks and preflop aggressor Daisuke Ogita checks back. On the turn 3♣ , Ogita resumes betting and Choong calls. The river is a blank. Choong checks once more, Ogita bets 350,000, Choong raises 1,300,000, Ogita makes the call then mucks to Choong's Q♣ J♠ .

Jhon Hendri moves all-in for the last 585,000 and Tom Maguire calls on the button, the blinds fold.

Hendri's A♣ 7♦ needs to improve against 9♥ 9♠ , but he finds no help on the Q♣ J♣ 3♠ Q♦ 6♦ board. After the showdown, the dealers are instructed to stop after the current hand is completed ahead of the three table redraw.

Khorshad Sagor has been fairly quiet at the table until this hand that ballooned his stack. He opens with a min-raise from under the gun then c-bets the flop 5♣ J♣ 9♥ . Manuel Carvalho calls again. On the turn T♣ Sagor checks then calls Carvalho's 460,000 bet leading to the river 8♣ . With four clubs on the board, Sagor shoves for 1,090,000, Carvalho tanks for two time banks then can't let go and calls.

Sagor shows K♣ J♠ nut flush that bests Cavalho's A♦ Q♣ second nuts.

Hassan Sey moves all in from the cutoff for 715,000, and Tom Maguire calls from the small blind with A♦ J♦ . Sey turns over , and needs to improve to stay alive.

The board comes A♣ K♠ 8♥ K♣ 6♠ , and Maguire wins the pot with two pair, aces and kings with his jack kicker to eliminate Sey in 26th place.

After a flop of K♦ 4♦ 2♦ , Tom Maguire checks from the big blind, Wonho Lee bets 80,000, and Maguire check-raises to 250,000. Lee three-bets it to 510,000, and Maguire uses a Time Chip to tank for nearly a minute before he calls.

The turn card is the 9♣ , Maguire checks, Lee bets 830,000, and Maguire uses another Time Chip to tank for a while before he calls.

The river card is the 8♠ , and both players check. Maguire shows J♦ 6♦ to win the pot with a flopped jack-high flush, and Lee mucks.

Battle of preflop bets begins with a raise of 120,000 from Armon Van Wijk at cutoff. Small blind Kai Wang three-bets 410,000 but still doesn't push out Van Wijk who sends out a four-bet of 700,000. Wang assesses the bet then pushes around2.2M. Van Wijk snap-calls and Wang exclaims "Oh no!"

Wang opens up A♥ 8♠ and he is behind Van Wijk's Q♣ Q♦. The board offers no help running 6♣ 9♠ 9♥ 3♥ 5♦ for a big double up to the Aussie.

Patrik Demus raises to 125,000 and James Rann jams for 675,000 out of the small blind. The action folds back to Demus and he uses a time bank before making the call.

Rann's 6♦ 6♣ flips versus K♣ J♣ and Demus improves to a pair of jacks on the A♠ J♦ 4♥ 3♣ T♠ runout.

Manuel Carvalho moves all in from the small blind, and Hayato Kitajima calls all in from the big blind for about 550,000 with A♠ 6♦ .

The comeback story of Vasquez unlocks a new chapter on the Q♥ J♣ 4♣ 2♣ Q♠ board as he dispatches Krishnan in 30th place.

Three ways to the A♦ Q♠ T♠ 2♦ turn, Marius Kudzmanas bets 275,000. Khorshad Sagor moves all-in from the next seat and Kaifan Wang folds, as does Kudzmanas.

One hand later, Kudzmanas pushes for 505,000 and scoops the blinds.

Boo Hyun Kim Eliminated in 32nd Place by Wonho Lee

Wonho Lee raises UTG+1 to 100,000, Boo Hyun Kim reraises from middle position to 225,000, and Lee calls.

The flop comes Q♣ 9♠ 2♦ , Lee checks, Kim moves all in for roughly 1.2 million, and Lee snap-calls with 9♥ 9♣ for a set of nines. Kim turns over K♠ K♣ , and needs to improve to stay alive.

The turn card is the 8♠ , the river card is the 4♠ , and the set of nines holds up for Lee to win the pot and eliminate Kim in 32nd place.

Wonho Lee is all in with A♥ J♠ and finds an ace on the board to double up off Xiao Liu's Q♦ Q♠ .

After losing a large chunk of his stack, Remy Murcia recovers with back to back double ups. The first hand he is on the big blind with a board showing A♠ 7♦ Q♦ 2♥ and a hefty 545,000 in the pot. Daniel Byshell shoves holding K♦ 6♦ , Murcia calls for his tournament life with A♥ A♠ . The river 6♥ is not one of Byshell's outs and Murcia ships it.

Next hand, Murcia is on the small blind and bets 300,000 on a board 2♥ 5♥ 6♦ . Two spots over Alex Puchalski pushes and Murcia snap-calls, once again risking his tournament life. Puchalski shows T♥ 9♥ , Murcia has Q♣ 6♠ . The turn gives Murcia Q♦ gives Murcia top two pair, and with the river T♠ , Puchalski misses his flush to send back some of the chips he took from Murcia at their previous showdown.

On the river of a three-way pot with the board showing K♦ Q♠ 9♠ A♣ 5♥ , Vyacheslan Shin bets 150,000 in the small blind. Andres Vasquez calls from the big blind and Micheal O'Neill folds in an early position.

Shin wins the pot with the A♠ Q♥ , Vasquez flashes his cards for a second and mucks.

Vasquez is down to 335,000 and doubles through Yita Choong in the next hand with A♣ K♥ versus K♠ Q♠ thanks to trips on the A♦ Q♣ J♣ A♠ 2♦ board.

David Sommer is not as fortunate. He arrives on the table with a short stack and busts right away.

Joshua Gebissa is all-in with a dwindling stack and has the unfortunate timing to be dominated with 8♦ 8♥ , as the red-hot running Yita Choong flips over Q♥ Q♠ .

Kaifan Wang raises from the hijack to 80,000, and Khorshad Sagor moves all in from the button for about 975,000. Neng Zhao calls all in from the big blind for465,000, and Wang folds.

Zhao turns over A♠ Q♣ , and he needs to improve to stay alive against Sagor's A♣ K♠ .

In the very next hand, it folds to Choong in the small blind and he piles into Joshua Gebissa to force a fold.

Neng Zhao loudly screams "hoooollldddd" when he attempts to knock out his table neighbour Armon van Wijk in a flip with J♥ J♦ versus A♥ Q♥ .

The A♠ 9♠ 3♣ K♣ 7♥ board provides the ace and Zhao falls silent.

"I am a monkey, monkeys always win," van Wijk clarifies and then adds "you actually had a real hand ... I thought you were full of shit."

Also involved in the hand was Manuel Carvalho, who had folded preflop.

Amit Kaushik and Peter Kiem are flipping for stacks in the most classic confrontation, as Kaushik's A♠ K♥ is up against Q♦ Q♥ .

Kaushik takes the lead on the A♣ K♦ 9♥ flop, but the T♥ turn and J♦ river improve Kiem to broadway.

That leaves Kaushik on just 45,000 and he gets them in from under the gun. Andres Vasquez raises to 100,000 on the button but folds when James Rann jams the big blind with A♥ J♦ . Kaushik's K♦ 2♣ pair up on the Q♣ T♠ 6♦ Q♥ K♣ runout but the same card gives Rann broadway, too.

After a flop of A♦ Q♥ 3♣ with nearly 700,000 already in the pot, Remy Murcia bets340,000 from the small blind, and Patrik Demus calls from the cutoff.

The turn card is the 7♥ , Murcia checks, Demus bets 365,000, and Murcia thinks for a while before he moves all in. Demus quickly folds, and Murcia takes the pot.

Fresh off winning a big pot against Yuan Yu with A♥ K♦ versus A♠ 8♠ on a board of A♣ T♥ 8♥ 7♥ 6♥ , Remy Murcia faces a raise to 80,000 by Yannick Jobin and the call by Patrik Demus on the button. Murcia in the big blind three-bets to 350,000 and Jobin then moves all-in.

Demus folds and Murcia asks for a count. The shove is for 2,265,000 and that proves to be too much to call.

On a flop of 9♥ 6♦ 4♣ , Nariman Yaghmai check-raises from 75,000 to 175,000 and Naj Ajez calls.

The 7♣ follows on the turn and Yaghmai bets 250,000. Ajez pushes all-in with the covering stack and Yaghmai instantly calls.

"Just the nine," Ajez announces and shows A♣ 9♦ . Yaghmai already has the double secured with T♥ 8♣ to make the K♠ river a formality.

Andres Vasquez has been bobbing in and out of the 900k range and picks up a pot to chip up a bit. With T♥ T♣ on hand, he opens from cutoff and big blind James Rann defends. On a flop 7♦ T♦ 4♦ , improves to a set and Vasquez continues for45,000, Rann calls, then they both check the turn 8♦ . The river comes 8♥ for a full house to Vasquez who value-bets 195,000, Rann calls then mucks.

Ali Hassan raises from the hijack, Tom Maguire reraises from the button to150,000, and Hassan reraises to 360,000, which is nearly half of his stack.

Maguire uses at least one Time Chip to tank for a while before he five-bets all in, and Hassan folds. Maguire takes the pot.

Joining the action on the 7♦ 6♠ 2♦ A♠ turn, Thi Hue Dang checks in the big blind. Amit Kaushik bets 55,000 for Dang to call and the 7♠ river pairs the board while also completing a flush draw.

Dang bets 305,000 and leaves one T-5,000 chip behind, Kaushik folds without too much hesitation.

Yuhan Liu is all in preflop for 55,000 with two players looking to bust him. With the main pot a 285,000 the side pot is at 140,000. On the flop 2♥ 3♣ J♥ , Kaifan Wang lays out a bet to fuel the side pot but Ali Hassan quickly folds. At showdown, Wang and Liu have the same hand, Liu A♥ 8♦ , Wang A♦ 8♣ . The turn J♠ assures the split pot.

Thi Bao An Nguyen loses her last eight blinds against Neng Zhao and moments later, there is another all-in showdown one table over.

Haoming Du moves all-in for 215,000 and Tom Maguire calls in the next seat, everyone else behind folds.

Du's A♥ T♥ are up against A♠ 9♠ and seemingly secure a double with the T♠ 8♥ 5♥ flop. But the 4♠ turn and Q♠ river provide the flush for Maguire instead.

Marius Kudzmana defends his small blind to join Chak Hei Chan to the flop Q♠ 5♦ 9♣ . Kudzmanas calls a continuation bet of 55,000, then both players check he turn 3♥ and river Q♥ . Kudzmanas shows 7♥ 7♣ and it's good to win the pot.

Wonho Lee is all in with Q♣ 9♣ and sweats it against bigger stacked caller Neil Davidson with 5♠ 5♥ . The board 2♣ 7♥ J♥ Q♥ 8♣ ensures the win for Lee to double through.

Haoming Du raises UTG+1 to 60,000, Siarhei Chudapal calls from the button, and Jhon Hendri moves all in from the big blind for 250,000. Du calls, and Chudapal tanks for a while before he folds.

Hendri turns over K♣ 9♣ , and needs it to hold to stay alive against Du's T♦ 9♦ .

The board comes 6♣ 6♦ 5♦ 5♥ 7♠ , and Du flops a diamond flush draw, but improves no further. Hendri wins the pot with his king to double up in chips.

In a battle of the blinds, Rayhaan Adam jams with the J♣ 9♥ and Naj Ajez looks him up with the A♦ 5♥ . Both players miss the K♥ K♦ 7♣ 6♣ 4♥ runout and Ajez seals the fate of the South African with the ace.
