#28 WPT Prime D1B ($1,100)

WPT Prime Day 1B recorded a larger field of 471 entries, with 59 more survivors advancing to Day 2. Najeem Ajez ended the day with a massive 1,313,000 (131 BB) chip count, overtaking initial flight chip leader Raffaele Sorrentino across the ranks. Close behind him is Hungary’s Patrik Demus, who ended the day with 903,000 (90 BB), just below Sorrentino's 970,000 chip count.
Ajez surged to the lead by the last hour after stacking off Duy Anh Nguyen with pocket aces against the latter's pocket tens. This crucial hand propelled Ajez past the 1 million mark, making him the only player to hold a seven-digit chip stack across the two flights.
