Chaar-Lee discovered poker over 20 years ago, starting with fixed-limit games before embracing the rise of No-Limit Hold’em across cash games, STTs, and MTTs. In the early days, he and his circle sometimes played more than 40 different formats in a single night. He organized the first poker camp in his region and has contributed poker technology to several televised shows. Today, he supports the SOMUCHPOKER team from the tech side, blending two decades of poker passion with technical expertise.

Aladin Reskallah is a poker professional from Canada. His career on the live felt took him from Canada to Europe and then Southeast Asia where he is now a frequent competitor. He is also the captain of French poker team, Team Cimitarra.

Aladin Reskallah: Early Years

Reskallah has two master’s degrees: in Education Science and International Science. He teamed up with two other poker buddies to create a poker think tank Team4betlight where they discuss game strategies. They also put up a Twitch channel where they set the world record in 2016 for the longest poker stream with the three friends taking turns in front of the camera for a total of 168 hours from July 17 to 24. The event brought donations for the families of the victims of the 2016 Nice terror attack. Although Reskallah has been playing since 2012, his live career earnings total a modest $275,740 to rank 491st in the Canada All Time Money List. Reskallah also has a strong online presence going by the nickname “Aladarrr”.

While studying in Montreal, Canada, Reskallah began playing cash games in 2011. He would frequent casinos in the area and discovered the Playground Poker Club where he recorded his first live tournament entry. But it would take several more years later for him to go full-time professional. In 2016, he moved to France then joined the Top Shark Academy competition sponsored by online poker and sports betting company Winamax. Reskallah won the completion and repeated in 2017 which rewarded him with buy-ins at Winamax events as well as the European Poker Tour and the World Series of Poker. In 2017, the Canadian entered live tournaments in Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Dublin plus the 48th World Series of Poker and Aria 2017 Poker Classic, Las Vegas. He totaled $ 39,242 by year’s end.

Reskallah, skipped play in 2018 and resumed the following year highlighted by a deep run at the Main Event of the European Poker Tour Monte Carlo for a career best cash of $ 51,201. He followed this up with a final table finish of another Main Event, this time at the World Poker Tour Cambodia, Phnom Penh banking $ 43,941. 2019 proved to be his most productive career, taking home $ 126,171 from several Multi-Table Tournaments. The pandemic however interrupted Reskallah’s momentum with a return to the live felt action coming only in October 2021 at the 52nd World Series of Poker, Las Vegas. He would compete the rest of the year in Las Vegas before an end season tournament in the Unibet DeepStack Open, La Grande-Motte, France.

In August 2022, Aladin Reskallah made the crucial decision to pivot towards the Southeast Asian circuit. He would compete in the region exclusively until the present. The move featured twin runner-up finishes at the Super Deepstack Event of the World Poker Championship – SEAPT Hanoi in 2022 and the WPT Superstack Closer Event of the WPT Vietnam – Passport to the World Championship, Hanoi in 2023. In 2024, Reskallah finally shipped a first title, bagging the NLH Turbo Event at the Poker Dream 8 Malaysia.
