Aditya Agarwal is a veteran Indian poker professional from Bengaluru who has built a significant career on the live tournament circuit. With more than USD 1.5 million in live earnings, he has established himself as one of India’s leading players and a recognizable figure internationally.
His best-recorded single cash to date was approximately USD 286,705, achieved when he finished runner-up in a $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em Super Turbo Bounty event at the World Series of Poker in 2021. In July 2024 he added a major milestone by winning his first bracelet in the WSOP Event #82: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout, taking home USD 189,661.
Agarwal first began cashing in live tournaments in 2006 and, since then, has amassed over 110 live results, including a runner-up finish in the Asia Pacific Poker Tour Macau Main Event in 2018 for USD 242,211. His international presence dates back to appearances such as 15th place in the European Poker Tour Barcelona Main Event in 2007.
Beyond his results, Agarwal is seen as a pioneer for Indian poker, having helped raise the visibility of the game in his country and competed at the highest levels globally for many years.
