Ching was flipping for his tournament life, but the board ran 7♣7♠6♥Q♦6♦, bringing no help for his overcards. Jung’s pocket eights held, sending Ching to the rail in ninth place, the first elimination at the final table.

Sangjung Jung opened to 400,000 in hijack with 5♦5♣ and only big blind Injae Jeong called with Q♥J♥ and joined him.

The dealer spread T♦5♥K♠. After action was checked to him, Jung continued with 250,000. Jeong hung on.

The dealer peeled a 8♣ turn. And after another check, Jung once again fired 800,000 for his set. And waiting for his straight draw to complete, Jeong paid the price to see the last card.

The river was a 6♣. Jung bet 2,200,000. And with his draw busting, Jeong had to concede his hand and the pot to Jung.

Sunho Yoo

Ronald Haverkamp opened to 400,000 in middle position and Sunho Yoo replied with an all-in shove for 1,900,000. Sangjun Jung in the small blind answered with his own all-in for 10,000,000, pushing Haverkamp out of the pot, and taking Yoo, at risk, to showdown.

Jung had Yoo dominated. The flop came A♣8♥4♥. Jung was psuhed further ahead but Yoo had hope to survive with a flush draw.

The turn 7♠ was a brick but the crowd cheered the moment the 2♥ fell on the river, completing Yoo's flush.

Yoo scooped the pot for a double up.

Sangjun Jung

Sangjun Jung opened to 400,000 in early position holding A♦J♥ and Aditya Agarwal in hijack with A♥Q♥ called. Sunho Yoo in the big blind with A♣4♣ joined them to see a flop.

The dealer fanned out J♠7♠K♠ and after a check, Agarwal fired 400,000. And only Jung called to see the next card.

The turn produced a K♥. Once again Jung checked the action to Agarwal, who shot out another 800,000 into the pot. Jung hung on.

On the river K♥, Jung led out with 550,000 which was enough to win the pot.

Leading the charge is the Philippines’ Lester Edoc, who bagged 14,825,000 chips after a hard-fought Day 2. Hot on his heels is South Korea’s Injae Jeong with 14,025,000, leaving just 800,000 chips between the two frontrunners.

Fellow South Korean Sangjun Jung sits in third with 9,875,000, keeping the pressure on the leaders as the final table approaches.

The Final Nine Chip Counts

This year’s Main Event has made history, attracting a record-breaking 1,418 entries and generating a massive NT$42,880,320 (approximately US$1.315 million) prize pool.

The total surpassed the NT$30 million guarantee by NT$12,880,320, setting a new attendance record for the TMT Championship and eclipsing the previous marks of 1,076 entries in 2025 and 936 in 2024.

The achievement is all the more remarkable given Super Typhoon Champi’s arrival, which threatened to keep players away during the opening flights. Yet the allure of a TMT Championship title proved too strong to resist.

Final Nine Set for Championship Showdown

Edoc is in prime position to claim the biggest prize. Ranked fourth on the Philippines’ All-Time Money List, he brings an extensive record of tournament success to the final table and will look to add another significant title to his résumé.

Jeong is close enough to challenge for the lead, and he arrives with a TMT title already to his name after winning the NT$30,000 High Roller at the 20th Taiwan Millions Tournament earlier this year.

Jung also has a notable regional victory on his résumé, having won the Mystery Bounty Hunter at APT Taipei in 2025.

India’s Aditya Agarwal adds international pedigree to the lineup. A former Team PokerStars Pro, Agarwal won a World Series of Poker bracelet in 2024, taking down the $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout for US$189,661.

The Netherlands’ Ronald Haverkamp brings Main Event experience of his own, having finished runner-up in the 2025 WPT Cambodia Championship for US$255,000.

Taiwan’s Hao Che Cheng and Kuan Ying Chen will look to make the most of competing on home soil, while South Korea’s Sunho Yoo and Taiwan’s Feng Hsien Ching enter as the shortest stacks, with ground to make up if they are to mount a title challenge.

TMT Championship 2026 Main Event Final 9 Players

After more than 12 hours of play, the final table of the TMT Championship 2026 Main Event is set, with nine players returning tomorrow to battle for the title and a top prize of NTD 5,763,000 (~USD 176,860). Leading the way is the Philippines’ Lester Edoc with 14,825,000 chips, narrowly ahead of South Korea’s Injae Jeong, who bagged 14,025,000. Sangjun Jung sits in third with 9,875,000, followed by India’s Aditya Agarwal with 8,200,000.

This year’s Main Event made history with 1,418 entries, setting a new attendance record for the TMT Championship. The field grew by nearly 32% from the 1,076 entries recorded in 2025 and more than 51% from the 936 entries in 2024. The achievement came despite a typhoon disrupting the schedule across Day 1A through Day 1D, making the turnout even more notable.

The record field built a prize pool of NTD 42,880,320 (~USD 1,315,000), comfortably surpassing the NTD 30 million (~USD 1 million) guarantee. It was a strong response from the players, with the event drawing a larger field than ever despite the weather challenges during the opening flights.

Edoc will return as the man to catch, though getting there was not entirely smooth. After starting Day 2 as the third overall chip leader, he endured some early swings before grinding his way back to the top and collecting multiple eliminations along the way. One of the Philippines’ most decorated players and currently fourth on the country’s all-time money list, Edoc now has another major title in sight. He recently represented the Philippines at the WPF Asian Nations Cup, where the team finished third.

Jeong is close behind, while Jung and Agarwal also enter the final day with healthy stacks. Taiwan’s Hao Che Cheng follows with 6,700,000, just ahead of the Netherlands’ Ronald Haverkamp with 6,325,000. Kuan Ying Chen has 5,650,000, while South Korea’s Sunho Yoo and Taiwan’s Feng Hsien Ching round out the final nine with 2,625,000 and 2,400,000, respectively.

Chih Hsuan Chiang - 10th Place

Chih Hsuan Chiang moved his last 1,700,000 into the middle from under the gun, hoping to keep his tournament run alive. But Kuan Ying Chen woke up with a stronger hand in the cutoff and reshoved, forcing everyone else to fold before the cards were turned over.

Chiang was dominated from the start, needing to find a jack or some other help to catch up. The 8♣6♥5♦ flop brought no improvement, and neither did the K♦ turn or 7♦ river. Chen’s ace-queen held, eliminating Chiang in 10th place.

Yao Cheng Wang - 11th Place

Yao Cheng Wang raised in the small blind to 400,000 and Hao Che Cheng int he big blind called.

The flop came 9♥T♣7♥. Wang shoved all-in for 500,000 and Cheng called.

Hao Che Cheng: J♠J♦

Wang connected with the flop but couldn't beat Cheng's pockets which still had outs to improve with a gutshot straight draw.

Another 9♠ fell on the turn which was no help to Wang. The small blind's elimination was sealed when the 2♥ dropped on the river.

Wang, looking regretful, went to the payout counter to claim his 11th place cashout.

Feng Hsien Ching

Feng Hsien Ching shoved his remaining 1,100,000 from the small blind, and Sunho Yoo took a moment before making the call from the big blind.

The T♠9♣7♠ flop gave Yoo top pair, putting him in front, and the 6♥ turn kept things that way.

Ching was running out of cards to save him, but the A♦ river came to his rescue, pairing his ace and turning the hand around at the last possible moment.

Chun Lam Ng - 12th Place

Chun Lam Ng open-shoved in middle position for 1,450,000. Injae Jeong in the small blind called taking them to showdown with Ng, at risk.

Injae Jeong: 6♥6♣

Jeong was a bit bashful when he showed his hand but the flop came 6♠K♠7♣, prompting him to make a fist pump.

The dealer peeled a A♠ turn which didn't help Ng at all. Ng's elimination was sealed when the 2♦ fell on the river, sending him out at 12th position.

Jongkwan Lee - 13th Place

The table had been playing cautiously, but Lester Edoc kept the pressure on, opening to 300,000 under the gun. Jongkwan Lee shoved 525,000 from the hijack, and after everyone else folded, Edoc called without hesitation.

Lee was in good shape with his queen kicker dominating Edoc’s nine. But the 9♥8♦4♣ flop gave Edoc a pair of nines, putting Lee behind.

The 9♣ turn improved Edoc to trips and left Lee drawing dead, sending him out in 13th place.

Billy Hsu - 14th Place

Billy Hsu put his tournament life on the line for 3,500,000 from the small blind, but Sangjun Jung had him covered and was ready to make the call.

Hsu needed help against Jung’s pocket kings, but the J♥J♠9♥4♦8♣ runout offered none. Jung’s kings held firm, sending Hsu to the rail in 14th place.

The pot also pushed Jung across the 10-million-chip mark.

Sunho Yoo and Lester Edoc

Folded to the button, Sunho Yoo opened to 1,900,000, leaving just 50,000 behind. Chip leader Lester Edoc was sitting right next to him and came back with a raise to 5,000,000. Yoo burned through all his time banks before finally committing his last chips.

Yoo found exactly what he needed on the Q♥7♣6♥ flop, pairing his queen and leaving Edoc with just three outs to catch up. The 4♦ turn and 4♣ river kept Yoo safely ahead, earning him a double-up

Sangjun Jung opened on the button with a 300,000 bet and big blind Ronald Haverkamp called to see a flop.

The flop came T♦9♠A♠. Haverkamp check-called Jung's continuation bet of 225,000.

Both players checked the 7♣ turn. On the river K♠, Haverkamp check-called Jung's bet of 600,000 once again.

Jung tabled A♥Q♣ but ended up rolling his eyes frustrated when Havekamp showed his two-pair with A♦9♦.

The remaining 14 players are back from their 15-minute break and ready to get back to the action. Play will continue until the field is down to the final nine.

Ronald Haverkamp

Ronald Haverkamp on the button and Hao Che Cheng had already built a 2,000,000 pot sitting beside a J♣4♠9♥2♣3♣ board.

After a check from Cheng, Haverkamp sat for a few seconds, unmoving, then annouced, 1,500,000. Cheng was sent to the tank to consider what he would do next.

He had to burn through a time card before deciding to call. Haverkamp didn't waste anytime to show his flush with Q♣8♣.

Looking quite frustrated, Cheng mucked his hand and headed to the break as Haverkamp scooped the pot.

Yu Yung Lin - 15th Place

With action folding to the blinds, Chun Lam Ng in the small blind shoved all-in for 1,930,000. Yu Yung Lin in the big blind, looked down at his cards, counted his 950,000 chips and called, putting his tournament run on the line.

Ng was ahead with his ace-high but all Lin needed was to connect with the board. The board ran 7♠9♥T♦J♦9♦ and without hitting any pair, Ng's ace-high was good enough to send Lin to the rails.

Seungmook Jung - 16th Place

Seungmook Jung was hanging on by a thread, opening to 450,000 and leaving himself just one 5,000-chip behind. Aditya Agarwal called, but Feng Hsien Ching had other plans from the button, shoving over the top and forcing Agarwal out of the way.

Jung’s pocket fives were in trouble against Ching’s pocket tens, and the K♥Q♣6♣9♠J♠ runout offered no miracle. If anything, Ching improved to a straight by the river, sealing Jung’s elimination in 16th place.

Jongkwan Lee

Folded to the small blind, Jongkwan Lee shoved his remaining 550,000, and Seungmook Jung called from the big blind.

The board ran out T♦4♦2♥J♥A♠, and neither player made a pair. Lee’s king-high held up against Jung’s queen-high, earning him a much-needed double-up.

Billy Hsu opened under the gun to 250,000. Sangjun Jung to his left called, but when action went to the cutoff, Ronald Haverkamp three-bet to 875,000.

Hsu folded his hand but Jung replied with an all-in shove for 3,240,000. Haverkamp snap-called putting Jung's tournament life at risk.

Jung was visibly anxious looking at the face of elimination when the flop dropped T♠9♥5♣. Haverkamp, looking quite relaxed, got on his feet when the J♥ fell on the river.

Jung was already celebrating when the 3♣ completed the board and secured his double up.

Lester Edoc

Aditya Agarwal wasn’t ready to let Lester Edoc take control of the hand. After opening to 250,000 under the gun, Agarwal called Edoc’s three-bet to 600,000 from the hijack.

Edoc fired another 400,000 on the K♣J♦4♦ flop, and Agarwal stuck around with a call. The 5♥ turn went check-check, setting up one last decision on the river.

The 4♠ paired the board, and Agarwal came out betting 700,000. Edoc took about ten seconds to think it over before deciding he’d had enough and folding. Agarwal scooped the pot without having to show his cards.

Andrew Hosok

Andrew Hosok had survived several all-ins, but his luck finally ran out when he shoved 1,075,000 from under the gun. It looked like he might steal the blinds, but Aditya Agarwal woke up with a call.

Agarwal flopped a set on J♦8♠4♥, leaving Hosok with almost no chance of survival. The 5♦ turn sealed the deal, and the 7♥ river confirmed Hosok’s elimination.

With 1,600,000 in the middle in a battle of the blinds, the board read J♠T♦9♣J♣Q♣.

Small blind Hao Che Cheng led for a modest 375,000, leaving Yao Cheng Wang to think it over before making the call.

Cheng turned over 8♠7♠ for a straight, having connected on the flop. Wang mucked his hand, and Cheng scooped the sizeable pot.

Sangjun Jung

Sangjun Jung limped from cutoff and big blind Cheng Ruei Yang checked his option.

The flop dropped 5♦2♦T♣. After a check, Jung fired 200,000 and Yang replied with a raise to 500,000. Jung went into the tank spending a time card to further mull things over.

He ultimately decided to go all-in for 1,300,000. Yang snap-called, putting Jung's tournament life at risk.

Cheng Ruei Yang: K♠2♥

Jung jumped off his chair upon seeing the hands. The dealer peeled a A♥ turn which didn't help Yang at all.

The board completed with a 9♠ river that secured Jung's double up and left Yang short-stacked.

Billy Hsu

Billy Hsu opened from early position, and Philip Cobol came back with a three-bet to 650,000. Hsu wasn't settling for that, four-bet shoving his entire 2,085,000 stack into the middle. Cobol burned through two time banks before finally making the call.

Cobol was in trouble, dominated by Hsu's ace-queen. The 6♦6♥5♥ flop brought some split-pot possibilities, but Hsu stayed in front through the 4♥ turn and 3♣ river to secure a huge double-up.

Cobol was left severely short and hit the rail soon after.

Andrew Hosok

Yao Cheng Wang opened in cutoff for 200,000. Andrew Hosok in the small blind shoved all-in for around 600,000. Wang called putting Hosok's tournament run on the line.

Hosok was in the lead when the dealer spread 9♣T♣T♠. He was looking at a potential double up when the dealer peeled a 3♦ turn.

Hosok was quite happy when the river fell 2♦ securing his double up and giving him a breath of new life to navigate through the tournament.

Andrew Hosok, down to 340,000, moved all in, and big blind Yao Cheng Wang made the call.

Hosok jumped out of his seat in frustration once the hands were tabled. The dealer flopped 6♥5♣9♥ giving Hosok no help at all.

Lester Edoc

With 1,500,000 already in the middle on the A♠9♣8♥A♥4♥ board, Lester Edoc announced all in. After tanking for two minutes, Chun Ting Lo called all in for around 1,900,000, making a hero call.

Edoc turned over the nuts and told Lo, “You are my hero.”

Lo’s hero call failed, and he was eliminated from the tournament. With the pot secured, Edoc climbed past 10 million chips to extend his lead at the top of the counts.

Hao Che Cheng in the big blind and Aditya Agarwal in hijack had alreayd built a pot of 500,000 when the flop dropped 5♣3♣7♥ .

Both players checked. On the 6♣ turn, Cheng fired 175,000 and Agarwal called.

On the river 8♠, with action checked to him, Agarwal fired 450,000 and Cheng called.

Agarwal tabled 6♠6♥ for a set on the turn but Cheng showed T♦9♦ for a straight.

Yeon Kyeong Yu

Yeon Kyeong Yu open-shoved for 1,095,000 from under the gun, and Kuan Ying Chen called from the hijack.

Action was picked up with Andrew Hosok in the big blind betting 160,000 into a 1 million pot beside a 4♦7♣ 6h] K♥6♦ board.

Eun Pil Jung, his heads-up opponent, was deep in thought. He called just to muck after Hosok tabled K♣Q♣ for a turned pair.

Jung looked down and counted his remaining chips as Hosok scooped the pot.

Injae Jeong

In a single-raised pot, the flop came 8♣7♣5♠, and after a back-and-forth betting exchange, Jungsu In found himself all in for 780,000 against Injae Jeong, who had him covered.

In looked set to double up with top pair and remained ahead on the 7♦ turn. But the 9♣ river completed Jeong’s flush, crushing In’s hopes of doubling and handing Jeong the pot.

Aditya Agarwal opened to 160,000 from the button and Wei Chang Chun in the big blind shoved for around 1,750,000. Agarwal snap-called.

Chun stood up the moment he saw he was behind. The dealer flopped 5♣4♥ 2s] keeping Agarwal in the lead. No help came in the runout 9♠4♦ sending Chun to hit the rails.

Agarwal was telling the table, he could have asked for a count but it didn't matter as he would have called anyway.

Lester Edoc

Five players have stacks above 3 million, with 34 players remaining and the average stack sitting at around 2 million.

Play will continue until the field is down to the final nine.

Joseph Chooi opened to 125,000, and Manpreet Singh three-bet to 1,200,000 from the seat to his left. After taking some time to think, Chooi called.

The K♠Q♠T♥ flop changed nothing, leaving Singh behind with his pocket eights against Chooi’s nines. But the 8♣ turn delivered another lucky escape for Singh, who had already survived a one-outer on the turn earlier in the tournament.

The A♦ river changed nothing, and Singh survived once again as his set of eights held up.

Kuan Ying Chen

Kuan Ying Chen opened to 120,000 and big blind Manpreet Singh called to see the flop.

The flop came 6♦K♥5♦. Singh check-called Chen's 175,000 bet leading them to the turn.

Both players checked the 5♠ turn.

On the 5♥ river, Chen fired 200,000 which was enough to win the pot.

Under the gun, Cheng Ruei Yang opened to 125,000 before current overall chip leader Yao Cheng Wang three-bet to 450,000. Yang responded by announcing all in for 1,425,000, and Wang snap-called.

Chun Ting Lo

Chun Ting Lo opened to 120,000 from the button and big blind Daiki Yoshikawa called leading them to the 2♣A♣J♦ flop.

Yoshikawa check-called Lo's bet of 80,000 to see the next card.

The 8♥ turn fell and both players checked all through the river K♠.

Yoshikawa showed A♠9♣ for top pair, prompting Lo to throw his hand in the muck.

Shou Ting Tu

Andrew Hosok opened to 100,000, only for big blind Shou Ting Tu to shove for 750,000. Hosok responded by moving his entire stack into the middle, setting up a showdown.

Both players held pocket pairs, but Tu was down to just two outs against Hosok's higher pair. The board ran K♦Q♣2♥6♥8♥, bringing no help for Tu. After the dealer counted the stacks, Tu was confirmed covered and eliminated from the tournament.

Eonseok Ki

Lester Edoc continued to grind away, raising frequently and opening again for 100,000. This time, he found two callers.

Edoc continued for 75,000 on the A♥9♣8♦ flop, with only small blind Eonseok Ki calling. The 3♥ turn prompted Edoc to fire a hefty 400,000. After taking some time, Ki check-raised all in for around 1,000,000, only for Edoc to snap-call.

Lester Edoc: A♠3♣

Ki was left heartbroken when he saw Edoc's higher two pair. The K♣ river changed nothing, and Edoc scooped another massive pot while sending Ki to the rail.

Daiki Yoshikawa

Folded to the small blind, Seungmook Jung raised to 150,000, and Daiki Yoshikawa defended.

The flop came J♣8♥2♥. Jung continued for 110,000, but Yoshikawa raised to 240,000. Jung called, and both players slowed down on the 2♠ turn.

On the 6♣ river, Jung led for another 180,000. Yoshikawa used a time bank before deciding to fold, surrendering the pot to Jung.

Manpreet Singh

Action was picked up on a three-way all-in between Yao Cheng Wang covering both Manpreet Singh and Fu Hsu Bin, who had the shortest stack.

The whole table was on its feet, with people cheering on Singh. His aggressive play seemed to have charmed the whole table, they didn't want to see him go.

As the table cheered their friends, the dealer flopped 8♣2♠4♣ giving Bin a pair but Wang a set. Lester Edoc, who was also at the table, said, "No! Don't do this to my friend."

As if his prayers were answered, an A♥ fell on the turn giving Singh a set of aces.

The table erupted in cheers as the dealer completed the board with the inconsequential T♥.

Bin left the table quietly and as the dealer pushed the chips towards his direction, Singh announced, "I'm back!"

Edwin dela Cruz

Edwin dela Cruz opened to 100,000 in hijack and Aaron Lam on the button shoved all-in for 675,000.

When action folded back to him, dela Cruz called putting Lam's tournament life at risk.

Lam needed to avoid an ace or a jack on all three streets to survive. He was safe on the first when the flop dropped 8♣3♣3♥.

A Q♥ fell on the turn and so far things were looking good for Lam.

It was not meant to be however, when what he was afraid of came on the river when a J♠ dropped. Lam quietly left the table as dela Cruz scooped the pot.

Yeon Kyeong Yu

Down to her last two big blinds, Yeon Kyeong Yu moved all in for 90,000. Both blinds, Chi Lung Kuo and Jaegeol Cho, shoved as well, setting up a three-way all-in.

Kuo and Cho had identical hands, both holding ace-king. The A♣7♠6♥ flop gave all three players a piece of the board, but the 5♣ turn opened up more straight possibilities for Yu.

The 9♠ river completed her straight, earning her a triple-up when she needed it most.

Jungsu In

Erina Takei moved all in for her last 450,000, and Jungsu In reshoved from the cutoff, forcing the remaining players to fold.

Jaegol Cho

Action was picked up with chips in the middle of the table and cards tabled in front of Yeon Kyeong Yu and Jaegol Cho, at risk.

Yu was hoping to find an ace or a queen on the board to eliminate Cho. However, the dealer flopped 6♠3♦K♣ keeping Cho's lead.

Cho was pushed further ahead with a T♣ turn. Yu's outs increased with a straight draw.

But a Q♠ fell on the river, securing Cho with a double up and leaving Yu crippled.

Lester Edoc

Lester Edoc in the big blind and Manpreet Singh in early position had already built a pot of 350,000 beside a K♦9♠7♠ flop.

The turn 5♣ fell and Edoc fired 125,000 only to be raised by Singh to 275,000. Edoc went into the tank, requiring a time card to think things through. Before time ran out, he called.

On the river K♥, the big blind player once again shot out 400,000, now sending Singh to the tank.

After one time card, he called just to muck his hand after seeing Edoc's trips with K♠8♣.

Yao Cheng Wang

A preflop betting war between Inho Jeong and Yao Cheng Wang built a pot of 700,000.

On the 8♣7♣6♥ flop, Wang led for 350,000, only for Jeong to move all in for 950,000. Wang wasn't going anywhere and made the call.

Wang was ahead with his overpair, while Jeong had outs to improve. However, the Q♠ turn and K♦ river brought no help for Jeong, and Wang scooped a pot worth nearly 3 million.

His stack climbed to almost 5 million, while Jeong was eliminated.

Yi Jun Lin

Action was picked up with around 300,000 in the middle beside a 2♣7♥K♠3♣ board.

Yi Jun Lin had most of his chips already in the pot and only had 75,000 behind. He checked to his heads-up opponent, Injae Jeong, who wasted no time putting Lin all-in with a 75,000 bet.

Lin, with a smile, obliged, putting his remaining chips into the pot.

Lin rolled his eyes and rose from his seat upon seeing Jeong’s set on the flop. To make matters worse, the river brought another 3♦, improving Jeong’s hand to a full house and sealing Lin’s fate.

Despite the unfortunate runout, Lin left the table in good spirits, drawing chuckles from those around him as everyone shared in the moment of bad luck.

Inho Jeong

Folded to the button, Lester Edoc opened to 80,000 before Chun Lam Ng three-bet to 280,000. Inho Jeong then moved all in for 900,000, forcing both players to fold and taking down the pot without a showdown.

Manpreet Singh

The remaining 58 players are now on a 15-minute break.

Ronald Haverkamp

Three players have pulled clear of the field, each stacking more than 3 million chips and holding roughly three times the current average.

Manpreet Singh leads the pack with 3,800,000, followed by Ronald Haverkamp with 3,100,000 and Yao Cheng Wang with 3,050,000.

Play will continue until the final nine players remain, setting the stage for the final table.

Chun Lam Ng

Chun Lam Ng opened on the button for 70,000 and Inho Jeong in the small blind called. Big blind Shao Chien Peng, only had 60,000 behind, and went all-in, creating a side pot of 10,000.

The flop came K♠6♥T♠. After a check, Ng contuned with 80,000 pushing Jeong out of the pot, and taking Peng to showdown.

Ng was ahead with queen-high. No help came for Peng when the dealer completed the board with a J♠3♥ runout.

Chien Chih Weng

Under the gun, Chien Chih Weng opened to 60,000 before Yu Yung Lin three-bet to 150,000 from the big blind. Weng wasn't backing down, moving all in for 615,000 and forcing Lin to quickly fold.

Weng then revealed Q♣Q♦, showing he had pocket queens all along.

Manpreet Singh

A mountain of chips worth 500,000 sat in the middle of the table when the flop dropped 3♣5♠2♦.

Big blind Cheng Ruei Yang fired 200,000 to further grow the pot and Manpreet Singh, his heads-up opponent, cooperated in its growth by calling.

On the A♥ turn, another 200,000 contribution from Yang shot forth. Singh once again joined him in his endeavor.

Both satisfied with the mound that they have created, both Yang and Singh checked the 9♣ river.

Yang tabled J♠J♣ which was not enough against Singh's A♦J♦.

Andrew Hosok

Wei Chen Lin opened to 195,000, leaving himself just one 5,000-chip behind. Andrew Hosok, seated to his left, raised to 350,000. Action folded back to Lin, who burned through all his time banks while waiting for a player to bust at another table.

His patience paid off when an elimination was confirmed, securing him a pay jump before he called.

Wei Chen Lin: K♣7♠

Andrew Hosok: A♣J♥

The T♠5♣4♣3♠J♠ runout brought no help for Lin, and Hosok’s ace-high improved to a pair of jacks on the river. Lin was eliminated, but not before locking up a pay jump from NTD 101,500 to NTD 109,900.

Philip Cobol

With around 280,000 in the pot on the K♠J♥9♥7♠ board, Philip Cobol bet 155,000. Aaron Lam called from the small blind.

The 6♥ river brought another bet from Cobol, this time for 365,000. Facing the hefty price, Lam couldn’t find the call and folded, allowing Cobol to scoop the pot of around 600,000 without showdown.

Yi Chang Ho

Action was picked up with Yi Chang Ho with 365,000 in front of him and a 25,000-chip left behind. Seungmook Jung, visibly frustrated, also had his 2,010,000 in front of him when the dealer started counting them as per Ho's request.

The table waited as the dealer went through the monster stack with the clock paused. Finally, after the dealer finished, Ho threw in his last chip for a call.

Jung needed to connect with the board with one of his overcards but the board ran 9♣9♠K♠2♣K♣ giving Ho a full house and a double up.

As Ho scooped the pot for a double, Jung called the floor to question the legality of the visible stalling that occurred on the table.

Aditya Agarwal

Manpreet Singh opened to 50,000 in hijack and got three callers - Jia Lun Chen to his left, Cheng Ruie Yang in hijack and Aditya Agarwal in the big blind.

All four saw the 4♦2♣ 8d] flop. After two check, Chen fired 100,000 making Yang fold. Agarwal called. Singh asked to check what Chen had left behind before folding his hand, leaving the remaining players heads-up.

Agarwal check-called Chen's 125,000 bet on the 6♦ turn.

After another check on the 3♥, Chen pushed another 400,000 into the already huge pot. Agarwal needed to brun through a time card before making the call.

Before Chen could turn over his cards, Agarwal tabled 4♥4♣ for a set on the flop. Chen stopped himself and mucked his hands instead. This prompted Nishant Kumar, who was also on the table, to complain, saying that Chen should show since Agarwal paid so much for it.

Agarwal calmed Kumar down, saying he didn't need to see what Chen had.

Wei Che Lin

Po Yu Su and Wei Che Lin in the big blind had already built a 140,000 pot when the flop dropped 7♥Q♥3♠

Su fired 50,000 and Lin check-called to see the next card.

Su cranked up the heat on the K♠ turn with 150,000 and Lin, once again, check-called.

On the river 2♥, Lin threw in a time card as he considered his options. He ultimately decided to push four towers of 100,000 each, sending Su to the tank.

Su thought hard, burning through a time card before making the call. Lin tabled Q♦J♣ for a pair on the flop but it coudn't win over Su's two-pair with K♦Q♠.

Action was picked up with Yao Cheng Wang in hijack and Chieh Chi Ting in the small blind, and at risk, caught in an all-in entanglement.

Ting was looking at a potential double up with his ace-high. The dealer spread T♠6♣T♥ keeping Ting's lead.

The J♥ fell on the turn, pushing him further ahead. And when the 3♠ appeared on the river, he secured his double up, allowing him to advance further into the tournament.

Seungmook Jung

Jae Sung Park open-shoved for around 340,000 and found a caller in fellow Korean player Seungmook Jung.

The Q♦J♣5♥Q♥K♣ runout brought no help for Park, whose pocket tens fell to Jung’s pocket aces. Jung scooped the pot and climbed past the 2 million-chip mark.

Chih Hsuan Chiang

Chen An Lin opened to 50,000, and Chih Hsuan Chiang called from the next seat. Both blinds folded.

Lin continued with a 40,000 bet on the 5♠5♣2♣ flop, and Chiang called. Both players then checked the 7♣ turn and 6♥ river.

Lin showed A♠K♥ for ace-high. Chiang laughed and revealed A♥, but his ace-high was no match for Lin’s king kicker. Lin scooped the pot without making a pair.

Tsung Wei Ying

With around 600,000 in the middle and the board already complete, 5♥3♣2♠2♦A♣, small blind Tsung Wei Ying moved all in. Yoing Il Woo thought it over before calling off his remaining 325,000.

Woo was already drawing dead on the turn, when the second deuce completed Ying’s full house. The ace on the river gave Woo top pair, but it came too late to save him from elimination.

The massive pot pushed Ying into the tournament’s top three chip counts.

Yao Cheng Wang

Fresh off his previous double-up, Ting Chieh Yang was all in again for 155,000. Yao Cheng Wang, the Day 1C chip leader who had just arrived from a broken table, raised to isolate, forcing the other players to fold.

The A♣8♥3♦ flop paired Yang’s ace, but it also gave Wang a set of eights. The Q♣ turn sealed the win for Wang, ending Yang’s run shortly after his earlier double-up.

Manpreet Singh

Manpreet Singh started the action in late position with a 40,000 raise and only Chieh Chi Ting in cutoff joined him to see a flop.

The dealer spread J♥2♣Q♣. Singh kept the pressure with another 30,000 into the pot. Ting wanted to see more and called.

On the turn 6♦, Singh unstoppable shot out another 45,000 and still he couldn't shake Ting off the hand as the latter called.

Finally on the river 7♠, Singh paused the aggression with a check. Ting followed suit but had to muck his hand after Singh showed Q♥T♥ for top pair.

Yu Cheng Lin

Yu Cheng Lin and Chia Ta Tsai had built a huge pot of around 500,000 sitting beside a completed board showing K♠2♠7♥T♥4♦.

It would seem that Lin had put most of his chips into the pot, leaving behind one 5,000-chip.

After a check from Lin, Tsai threw a 5,000 chip in, effectively putting his opponent all-in. It took longer for the dealer to put the all-in triangle than it did Lin to make the call.

Tsai showed A♥8♥ for ace-high. Lin then turned over K♥K♣ for a set on the flop and a double up.

Yi Chang Ho

Yi Chang Ho started the action with a 50,000 raise from under the gun. After action folded around to the cutoff, Jungsu In called.

The dealer spread 2♣2♠K♣. Ho continued with 40,000 and In stayed with him.

The 2♥ turn got another 60,000 bet from Ho. In just wasn't ready to let go of his hand and called.

Both players checked the 5♦ river. Ho showed his J♣J♦, prompting In to muck his hand.

Ting Chieh Yang

Left with 185,000, Hyegeon Park shoved from under the gun. On the button, Ting Chieh Yang burned through all of his time bank before committing his remaining 90,000.

The 7♣4♦4♠ flop paired Yang’s seven, putting him ahead. The 5♥ turn gave Park additional outs with an open-ended straight draw, but the Q♥ river brought no help. Yang’s pair held, securing him the double-up.

Aditya Agarwal

With around 220,000 already in the middle, Aditya Agarwal fired 190,000 on the T♣7♥2♦5♠ board. Heesoo Im check-called to see the 4♦ river.

Im checked again, and Agarwal announced all in for 795,000. Facing the massive shove, Im burned through three time banks before finally folding. Agarwal took down the sizeable pot without showdown.

Inho Jeong

Lester Edoc opened to 40,000 from the button and Inho Jeong in the big blind called.

The dealer fanned out A♦8♣2♣. After a check, Edoc continued with 35,000. Looking a bit disgruntled, Jeong splashed his check-call.

The 2♥ didn't stop Edoc's aggression. He increased the pressure with 60,000, making Jeong throw in the chips for a call.

Leaning on the table, looking at both the board and Edoc alternately, Jeong mulled things over, after Edoc fired another bullet worth 225,000.

The big blind player needed to burn through a time card before making a call, just to frustratedly throw his hand in the muck pile after Edoc turned over K♥8♥ for a rivered two-pair.

The remaining 110 players are on a 15-minute break.

Tsung Wei Ying

Hyegeon Park raised to 30,000 from the button and Tsung Wei Ying in the big blind called to see a flop.

The dealer spread 8♦7♥Q♠. Ying check-called Park's bet of 25,000 leading them to the turn.

The turn produced a 3♥ which both players checked. Ying resumed action on the river3♠ with an 86,000 bet.

Unable to call, Park conceded both his hand and the pot to Ying.

Yu Sheng Huang

Chien Yu Wu opened to 30,000, and both blinds called. All three players checked the 9♥4♦3♣ flop.

The Q♠ turn brought a 35,000 bet from small blind Yu Sheng Huang. Edwin Dela Cruz, who had doubled up through Huang earlier, called from the big blind, as did Wu.

When the 9♦ landed on the river, Huang fired another 65,000. Dela Cruz raised to double the bet, and Wu quickly folded. Huang took two time banks before making the call.

Dela Cruz turned over Q♣T♥ for a pair of queens, which was enough to win the pot. Huang mucked his hand and was left short-stacked as Dela Cruz claimed another pot against him, making it two in a row.
