The TMTC 2026 Main Event is underway with the announcement of Shuffle Up and Deal.
The Main Event of the third edition of the Taiwan Millions Tournament Championship (TMTC) 2026 is set to get underway this morning at 11:30 AM at CTP Asia Poker Arena in Taipei, with players preparing to compete for a NTD 30 million (~USD 1 million) guaranteed prize pool. The buy-in is NTD 35,000 (~USD 1,100), with each player starting with 50,000 chips, worth 167 big blinds.
The opening flight, Day 1A, will follow a 40-minute level structure, with late registration closing at the end of Level 9 at around 6:15 PM. Play will continue until the field is down to 15% of the starting entries, with those remaining securing a place in the money and advancing to Day 2.
Players who bust out of Day 1A will still have another chance to qualify, as Day 1B is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM, shortly after registration closes for the first flight.
Day 1B will offer a faster route into Day 2, with levels shortened to 20 minutes while following the same overall structure. Players will have six starting flights across three days to qualify, with two flights running each day.
The Main Event will have plenty to live up to, as TMT 19 and TMT 20 previously set records for the largest Main Event fields in Asia. The higher-stakes TMTC has also built a reputation for surpassing its guarantees, leaving the question of whether this edition can deliver another major turnout.
