Taiwan’s Chih Feng Li claimed a major milestone by winning the GOP Olympians, the first flagship event of the series. The tournament drew 351 entries across six flights, creating a prize pool of TWD 3,639,168 (~US$ 115,020), surpassing the TWD 3,000,000 guarantee, with a buy-in of TWD 12,000 (~US$ 380).

Heads-up play began with Shun Yi Zheng holding a big lead, but Li survived an early all-in and gradually fought back. After multiple swings, the 36th hand decided the match, with Zheng’s ace-three falling to Li’s ace-seven, securing the victory and the title for Li.
