Profile

A recent force to be reckoned with, French poker player Romain Bier and his nearly USD 200,000 in total live earnings is quickly becoming a legend in his field. Planting his poker roots in 2018, Bier was quick to enter international tournaments, placing first in the Hyper Turbo #15 event at the WiPT Winamax Poker Open WPO in Dublin, the MPS High-Roller at Texapoker MPS Sanremo in Italy, and the Progressive Knockout Bounty #16 at WiPT SISMIX Costa Brava in Lloret de Mar.

Post-pandemic, Bier made his Asian tour debut in 2022, wiping the Hyper Turbo event at SEAPT Hanoi clean. He then had a relatively deep run at WPT Prime Taiwan and was highly successful at USOP Da Nang in November 2023, placing first in the No-Limit Hold’em Turbo and Mini High-Roller events.

In his 2024 return to Vietnam, Bier achieved his biggest cash-out, placing second in the Super Star Challenge event at VPL Hanoi, winning roughly VND 1,000,000,000 (USD 40,550). It was the cherry on top of a hyper-deep run, and Bier left the felt USD 59,580 richer.

Bier then enjoyed an even deeper run in the VPL Summer Series Hanoi and is inching higher on the France All-Time Money List.
