Profile

Latvia’s Rolands Norietis is putting his country on the poker map and is twelfth on the Latvia All-Time Money List. With nearly 50 tournaments under his belt, Norietis is quickly becoming a household name in international events like WSOP Las Vegas, USOP Ha Noi, and WPT Cambodia.

Embarking on his professional poker career in 2011, Norietis immediately made a splash, securing a € 12,060 cash (USD 17,147) at the WPT Vienna Main Event. This was just the beginning of a series of impressive victories, including three other five-digit wins at EPT Tallinn, the ACF Recurring Tournaments in Paris, and the IPC Tour in Malta, leaving the poker community intrigued by his potential.

Though his poker credits from 2011 to 2014 were relatively scarce, Norietis’ career flourished in 2019, with multiple appearances in competitions throughout America.

Norietis enjoyed two of his biggest cashes in 2023 when he placed third in the WPT Prime Cambodia Nagaworld Millions, earning USD 22,600, and fourth in the High Roller Dark Knight by Domusbet event in the Battle of Malta, cashing € 28,040 (USD 29,777).

In 2024, Norietis powered through a deep run at JIPT Jeju with winnings of KRW 46,000,000 (USD 34,058), bringing his total live earnings up to USD 289,207.
