The Philippines’ Joemark Vasay rose to prominence in poker when he started dabbling in the local circuit with deep runs and final-table appearances in Asia Pacific Poker Tour and Asian Poker Tour tournaments. To date, he competes exclusively on Philippine soil.

Joemark Vasay’s PokerStars Hat Trick

After a series of thrilling appearances in APT Manila and various PokerStars events, the climax of Joemark Vasay‘s journey arrived in February 2022. He clinched the top spot in the Main Event of the PokerStars LIVE Manila Super Series 14 and earned PHP 720,000 (USD 14,014). 

He placed first again in the Main Event at the October 2023 PokerStars LIVE Manila Special, earning PHP 585,000 (USD 10,305) and became a top player in the PokerStars circle.

His most significant victory came in January 2024, when he swept the Main Event at the Manila Super Series 19, earning a career high PHP 1,927,000 (USD 34,678). His win came immediately after a triumph in the warm-up event, where Vasay bagged PHP 407,000 (USD 7,348). 

Vasay has three PokerStars LIVE titles and four live wins with total live earnings of USD 98,030.
