Jennifer Cassell is an Australian poker player who began her professional journey in 2018 at APT Brisbane. After playing exclusively on Australian felt until 2022, Cassell made her first WSOP appearance in Las Vegas, winning a modest USD 1,672 in the Million Dollar Bounty event.

That same year, Cassell made her biggest live cash win in the 2022 Gold Coast Champs tournament when she placed first in the Main Event, enjoying a payout of AUD 96,571 (USD 70,920).

A year after her big win, Cassell touched down on Asian turf for the first time in March 2023, where she placed 2nd at the APT Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s Freezeout event, winning VN₫ 113,660,000 (USD 4,839).

Cassell’s most impressive victory occurred at USOP Taiwan in January 2024, where she placed first in the Mini Main Event, bagging NTD 1,176,000 (USD 37,281). Her sweep marked Cassell’s first win outside of Australia and underscored her knack for navigating large-field multi-table tournaments.

Today, Cassell has over USD 200,000 in live earnings and is among Australia’s rising poker stars.
