Youngsetr Alvin Jeff Sembrano broke into the Philippine poker world in 2019, debuting at the PokerStars LIVE Manila Super Series 10. He consistently played in local tournaments, namely the Manila Megastack, Asian Poker Tour Manila, and the Metro Card Club’s RVS Cup Philippine Poker Championship. 

With a surge of adrenaline, Sembrano clinched his first major title in the Bounty event at the PokerStars LIVE Manila Super Series 14 in February 2022, pocketing a minimum PHP 115,424 (USD 2,250). The excitement continued to build as he triumphed once more, securing his second first-place title in the P10,000 + 1,000 No-Limit Hold’em event at the Asia Poker Championship in Pasig City, with an even more substantial prize pot of PHP 297,000 (USD 5,289). 

Sembrano then made his first international appearance at U Series of Poker HaNoi in September 2023, winning VND 111,000,000 (USD 4,614) in the Mini Main Event and Main Event. He played a long stint in Vietnam once more from October to December 2023, but his biggest win came back in Manila, when he reached fourth place in the Manila Megastack 18 Main Event, cashing in PHP 2,135,000 (USD 38,139).

Following his big win, Sembrano ventured into Taipei, participating in APT Taipei and taking home NTD 294,000 (USD 9,337). He currently has total live earnings of USD 121,711.
