Considerably the most attractive feature of the festival were the unique Chinese Zodiac trophies awarded to champions of the twelve marquee events. Taiwan’s Ting Chieh Chi conquered the Main Event to hoist the first ever Zodiac Snake trophy.

Wedged in the middle of the pack at the start of Day 2, Taiwan's Ting Chieh Chi navigated his way into the final table then won a crucial flip with A♥ K♥ that sent hot running Aussie Dylan Wayne Foster to the rail holding Q♦ Q♣ on a King-high board. With over 80% of the chips in play at his side, Chi kept the desperate Yu Hsiang Wong at bay and proceeded to claim all the chips with A♠ 6♣ over J♠ 4♠ . Chi secured the first ever Zodiac Snake Main Event title and trophy.
The festival's marquee tournament drew 1,497 entries across eight starting flights, and with buy in at NTD 22,000 (~US$ 665), it breezed past the guarantee for an impressive closing prize pool of NTD 29,041,800 (~US$ 880,370). Only 153 players advanced to the ITM round. Foster entered the final day as chip leader and finished 3rd to inch closer to seven digits in live earnings. For runner-up Wong, his performance was just as impressive despite being denied a Zodiac trophy. Prior to the main, Wong finished 4th at the Zodiac Rabbit Double Stack Turbo. The champion Chi walked away with his first ever major title and career high payout of NTD 4,214,800 (~US$ 128,045).

Multi-Major Champion: Chien Fa Chou
Capturing one title is difficult enough however four players managed to win two each at the festival. The most impressive performance was by Taiwan’s Chien Fa Chou who won two majors, securing both the Zodiac Goat trophy and the Zodiac Monkey trophy.

Taiwan's Chien Fa Chou ended his five year winning drought after towering over the Zodiac Goat Mini Main Event opener to capture the first major title of the series and a payout of NTD 1,145,200 (~US$ 34,870). Chou also became the proud owner of the very first ZSOP Goat trophy, a one-of-a-kind prize specifically designed for this event.
The ZSOP hit the ground running with 662 entries pulled in across four flights. With each entry paying up the NTD 12,000 (~$365) buy in, the NTD 3M guarantee was instantly crushed as the prize pool soared to NTD 6,119,200 (~US$ 186,320). The top 27 players earned a cut with Chou claiming the largest share after outlasting final table heavyweights Rob Sherwood, Kyle Bao Diep, Martin Sedlak, and Chen Yen Lo at heads up.

Taiwan's Chien Fa Chou has done it again! After taking down the Zodiac Goat Mini Main Event, Chou carried the momentum to the Zodiac Monkey King Mystery Bounty and ruled the night by outlasting the massive 791 entry field. This incredible performance earned Chou the largest cut of the NTD 6,798,700 (~US$ 207,010) prize pool for a payout of NTD 1,691,200 (~US$ 51,485) padded up further with a mountain of bounties - ten in total - amounting to NTD 791,000 (~US$ 24,000). Indeed a big payday for the major multi-champion.
Dylan Wayne Foster Runs Deep In Two For Six-Figure Total

Australia’s Dylan Wayne Foster delivered a standout performance at the ZSOP with back-to-back deep runs at two of the Zodiac majors. During the early days of the series, Foster shipped the Zodiac Dragon Super High Roller for a payout of NTD 1,457,300 (~US$ 44,375). Riding the momentum, he carried in the largest stack at the Zodiac Snake Main Event final day then proceeded to finish in an impressive 3rd place to add a larger NTD 2,078,000 (~US$ 63,130) to his winnings.
Last Four ZSOP Major Winners

A career milestone for Thailand’s Pitipong Posri, as he secured his first-ever poker title at the ZSOP. Posri took home the prestigious Zodiac Rabbit Double Stack Turbo trophy, adding his name to the list of champions.Facing off against seasoned Australian high roller John Perry in the final showdown, Posri emerged victorious to pocket the 344,300 (~US$ 10,485) top prize.
The featured event drew a massive 208-entry field, with each player putting up NTD 10,000 (~US$ 300) to create a NTD 177,500 (~US$ 54,060) prize pool. A total of 32 players reached the money round.

Despite the headliner on center stage, the Zodiac Pig Monster Stack was just as popular pulling in 371 entries at NTD 10,000 (~US$ 300) each for an impressive prize pool of NTD 3,166,900 (~US$ 96,425). Taiwan's Shen Hao came out on top for a payout of NTD 527,800 (~US$ 16,070).

Second Zodiac key event victory for Thailand as Thitiwat Phattanaworasit took down the Zodiac Ox Strong Stack after overcoming a field of 306 entries. It being one of the favored deep stack events in the lineup with a starting stack of 60,000, Phattanaworasit pocketed the lion's share of the NTD 2,612,100 (~US$ 79,535) prize pool, turning his NTD 10,000 (~US$ 305) buy in into a thick wad worth NTD 470,500 (~US$ 14,325).

Indonesian pro Jhon Hendri added another title to his growing list of achievements after taking down the Zodiac Rooster Closer on the final day of the festival. Hendri topped the 316 entry field, denying Chi Hao Lin at heads up to earn the largest share of the NTD 2,697,400 (~US$ 82,130) prize pool. Hendri pocketed NTD 480,700 (~US$ 14,635) for his triumph. Also at the final table was side event multi-winner Korea's Jaegeol Cho who earned his seventh cash of the series in 4th place.
