GOP Taipei

Gods of Poker has added three guaranteed events to the schedule for The Trial of Wisdom – GOP Taipei 2026 , running September 18 to 27 at CTP Asia Poker Arena . The recurring Titan Stack Daily and the new GOP Accumulator join the ten-day lineup, along with a one-off TWD 1,000,000 guaranteed Titan Stack on the opening Saturday. GOP’s signature Cronus Structure has also been refined ahead of the festival.

The festival runs across ten days and is headlined by the TWD 17,000,000 guaranteed Main Event (TWD 33,000 buy-in). For the full rundown, see our earlier preview article .

Titan Stack Daily: TWD 777,000 GTD

A recurring fixture across the schedule, the Titan Stack Daily carries a TWD 5,500 buy-in and a TWD 777,000 guarantee. It runs on six separate days throughout the festival, giving players multiple chances to buy into a fresh field without committing to a multi-flight structure.

It’s a low-cost, single-day option that fits neatly alongside the bigger-ticket events for anyone looking to keep the action (and the risk) manageable.

A TWD 1,000,000 Titan Stack Opens the Weekend

Saturday, September 19 gets an extra headline event of its own. A standalone Titan Stack carrying a TWD 11,000 buy-in and a TWD 1,000,000 guarantee kicks off at 12:30 PM, with registration closing at 2:00 PM and a 70,000-chip starting stack.

It’s a step up from the daily version, offering a bigger guarantee without the commitment of the festival’s marquee events.

GOP Accumulator: TWD 3,000,000 GTD

The GOP Accumulator takes a different approach entirely, built around a Multi Qualifier Bonus system unlike anything else on the schedule. Here’s how it works:

  • Buy-in: TWD 5,500, with a TWD 3,000,000 guarantee
  • Seven starting flights (A through G), running September 18 to 23
  • Players can enter multiple flights rather than just one
  • Qualifying from a second flight or beyond earns a TWD 25,000 bonus each time, deducted from the prize pool rather than added on top
  • Chips built up across every qualifying flight carry forward to the Final Day
  • Each flight plays down to roughly 13.5% of the field
  • The Final Day restarts at the blind level where the lowest-completed flight finished, capped at an average of 50 big blinds

Cronus Gets a Refinement Ahead of GOP Taipei

GOP Taipei also marks the first update to the Cronus Structure since its debut. After five completed stops, GOP is smoothing out the jump from 60 big blinds to 30 big blinds at the close of registration, adding an intermediate step at approximately 40 big blinds rather than dropping players straight from one to the other.

The late-registration philosophy itself isn’t changing – registration still closes at the same point, and the 30 BB stack heading into the money remains the standard across non-turbo events. It’s a progression fix, not a structural overhaul.

“Cronus was never meant to be untouchable,” said founder Lloyd Fontillas. “It was built around a simple idea: respect players’ time without compromising the quality of the game. Five stops have given us the chance to see the structure work in real tournament conditions and, more importantly, hear directly from the players using it. We are refining Cronus, not reinventing it.”

More on the update can be found on GOP’s official site.
