WPT Prime Taiwan 2027 Satellites: Win a $1,100 Seat From Just $0.55

The road to WPT Prime Taiwan 2027 is officially open. WPT Global launched its online satellite campaign on October 18, giving players the chance to qualify for the $1,100 Championship Main Event through tournaments starting at just $0.55.
Running until December 27, 2026, the promotion features three qualification routes, all leading to the same $110 final qualifier. Players who successfully win their Main Event seats also become eligible for exclusive WPT Global Black Card benefits, including bubble protection, iPhone rewards, and $17,500 in additional Last Longer prizes.

How to Qualify for WPT Prime Taiwan From $0.55
WPT Global has introduced three satellite paths to accommodate different bankrolls. Each follows a multi-step structure, with players advancing through lower buy-in tournaments toward a $110 qualifier that awards $1,100 Main Event tickets.
Satellite Path | Step 1 | Step 2 | Final Qualifier |
|---|---|---|---|
Main Path | $1.10 | $11 | $110 |
Low-Stakes Path | $0.55 | $5.50 | $110 |
Alternative Path | $2.20 | $22 | $110 |
The $0.55 route is the cheapest way to begin, allowing players to chase a live tournament seat without paying the full $1,100 buy-in upfront.
However, entering a $0.55 satellite does not guarantee a Main Event ticket. Players must successfully advance through the qualification stages before reaching the final $110 tournament.
Those looking for a more direct route can also enter at higher levels, subject to tournament availability.
Exact tournament schedules, structures, and seat allocations are available in the WPT Global tournament lobby.

WPT Global Black Card: Extra Rewards for Online Qualifiers
Winning a Main Event seat is only part of the promotion.
Players who qualify through WPT Global can also receive an exclusive Black Card, unlocking additional rewards during the live tournament in Taiwan.
The Black Card offers three major benefits:
Bubble Protection: Get Your $1,100 Buy-In Back
Few tournament exits hurt more than being eliminated immediately before the money.
Eligible Black Card holders who finish exactly one position outside the paid places receive a refund of their $1,100 Main Event buy-in, credited to their WPT Global account.
Free iPhone for a Top-18 Finish
Online qualifiers who reach the final 18 players of the WPT Prime Taiwan Championship will receive a new iPhone, provided they meet the Black Card requirements.
The reward comes on top of any tournament prize money earned.
$17,500 Last Longer Competition
WPT Global is also running an exclusive Last Longer competition among eligible online qualifiers.
The three highest-finishing players in this group receive additional prizes:
Position | Bonus Prize |
|---|---|
1st | $10,000 |
2nd | $5,000 |
3rd | $2,500 |
Total | $17,500 |
These rewards are separate from the Championship's regular prize pool.
Important: Players receive their physical Black Card after completing on-site registration. To remain eligible for its benefits, they must wear the provided WPT Global logo patch throughout the tournament.
Key Dates and Eligibility Requirements
The online satellite promotion is already underway, but players still have more than two months to pursue a seat.
Event | Date |
|---|---|
Online satellites began | October 18, 2026 |
Last day of satellite promotion | December 27, 2026 |
KYC verification deadline | December 30, 2026 |
WPT Prime Taiwan Festival | January 2–11, 2027 |
WPT Prime Taiwan Championship | January 7–11, 2027 |
Players must have an active, eligible WPT Global account and be at least 18 years old, or meet the higher legal gambling age in their jurisdiction.
Unlike the separate Asia MTT Leaderboard promotions, these satellites are not advertised as exclusive to Asian players. However, country restrictions and account eligibility requirements still apply.
All Main Event seat winners must complete full identity verification by December 30. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of their seats.
Players can win multiple seats, but must personally use their first one. Additional seats may be transferred to another fully verified WPT Global player by December 30, subject to the promotion's terms.
WPT Prime Taiwan Returns With a $1 Million Guarantee
The satellite campaign leads to the WPT Prime Taiwan Championship, scheduled for January 7–11, 2027, at CTP Asia Poker Arena in Taipei.
The TWD 35,000 Main Event will feature a TWD 30 million guaranteed prize pool, approximately equivalent to $1 million.
Online qualifiers will be assigned to Day 1A or Day 1B, subject to availability.

How to Enter the WPT Prime Taiwan Satellites
Eligible players can participate through WPT Global's online tournament platform.
Open the tournament lobby, find the WPT Prime Taiwan satellite schedule, and select a suitable qualification path.
Players should review the tournament structure and available seats before registering. The advertised prize is a Main Event entry, rather than a full travel and accommodation package.
