Rather than simply browsing schedules or results, visitors can now explore tournament performance, festival histories and player records through dedicated statistics pages. For example, every festival now features a dedicated Statistics dashboard , allowing users to analyze total prize pools, number of events, game type breakdowns, country performances, and much more. Whether researching an upcoming event, comparing festival sizes, tracking a player’s results or simply diving deeper into the numbers, the new statistics hub provides a much broader picture of the tournament scene.
Festival Statistics has also received a complete redesign, replacing the previous Festival Players page with a cleaner dashboard layout. Key information is now presented in a way that’s easier to digest, allowing users to quickly understand the scale and performance of a festival before exploring more detailed data points.
The dashboard also incorporates the Somuchpoker Poker Index (SPI) , our proprietary festival rating system that measures the overall strength and prestige of a poker series based on a range of tournament metrics.
As Somuchpoker’s database continues to expand, these statistics provide another layer of context beyond traditional reporting, helping players, media, and organizers better understand the growth of events across the region.
Smarter Tour Pages
Tour pages have received one of the most significant upgrades in this release.
Each tour now has a richer information hub, bringing together its history, latest news, upcoming festivals and previous stops into a single destination. Visitors can now instantly see the next scheduled festival directly within the page header, eliminating the need to search through calendars before finding the next stop on a tour.
The updated World Poker Tour page is one example of the new layout, offering a cleaner overview of one of poker’s biggest brands while making related information much easier to find.
Where applicable, each page now also highlights the tour’s official online poker partner, making it easier for players looking to qualify online before travelling.
Tournament archives have been reorganized through a compact year selector instead of lengthy expandable lists, reducing clutter while making it much quicker to browse previous seasons. Festival listings and related news have also been redesigned to create a cleaner reading experience and improve navigation between upcoming events, historical festivals and editorial coverage.
Three distinct visual designs have also been introduced to represent different tour tiers, helping users quickly identify the scale and prestige of each circuit at a glance.
In addition, festival pages now include structured data behind the scenes, improving how tournament information is understood by search engines and helping players discover events more easily through online searches.
A Simpler, Smarter Poker Calendar
The Poker Calendar has also been refined with usability in mind.
The interface has been redesigned to create a cleaner, more intuitive browsing experience, making it easier for players to navigate the calendar while keeping the focus on the information they use most.
Festivals are now prioritized according to their tier, making the biggest stops easier to identify while still showcasing the full breadth of tournaments taking place throughout the year.
Navigation between months and years has also been streamlined, allowing visitors to move through a busy poker schedule with fewer clicks and less scrolling.
