Sunny Cocquempot’s Personal Breakthrough in the Mini Main Event

France’s Sunny Cocquempot outlasted a 1,493-entry field to capture the tiger trophy in the Mini Main Event, which generated a VND 14,427,100,000 (~$547,830) prize pool. It was not only a victory for Cocquempot, but also an important milestone in his career as he achieved a personal breakthrough by winning a career-best prize of VND 2,430,000,000 (~$92,265) as well as his very first RPT title. The win also earned him 2,766.19 points in 2026 SPI Scores.

Ngoc Dai Nguyen Wins RPT Super Star Challenge Title

In the RPT Super Star Challenge, Vietnam’s Ngoc Dai Nguyen claimed the title after overcoming an elite field of 136 entries. At a star-studded final table including strong players such as China’s Jinlong Hu , Canada’s Benjamin LeBlond , and Australia’s Julian Warhurst , Nguyen reached his crowning moment and secured the VND 2,705,000,000 (~$102,710) top prize along with 1,671.87 SPI points, showing his ability to stay calm under pressure against tough opponents.

Golden Tiger Crowned: Nicolas Godard Wins Main Event

While the festival moved into its final three days, the highly anticipated RPT Main Event crowned its winner as Nicolas Godard from France took the glory. The prestigious event attracted 1,412 entries across five opening flights, generating a prize pool of VND 27,208,800,000 (~$1,033,181). In the end, Godard successfully navigated through the competitive field to lift the Golden Tiger trophy. His win not only earned him 3,386.02 SPI points but also set a new career benchmark with a career-high score of VND 4,510,000,000 (~$171,245).

In addition to the prize money and trophy from RPT, Godard’s win also earned him extra rewards from GOP, including the exclusive Gods of Poker trophy and a $3,000 package, covering a $1,540 Main Event ticket and $1,460 in travel support, to play in the GOP Phnom Penh – The Coiled Path Main Event .

First RPT Victory for Andres Vasquez in Championship

After the Main Event winner was crowned, the excitement continued as the RPT Championship also found its champion, Andres Vasquez of Colombia. The event attracted 436 entries and generated a prize pool of VND 12,577,600,000 (~$477,600). Vasquez’s victory earned him the top prize of VND 2,610,000,000 (~$99,100) and his first RPT title, setting a new mark in his poker career. With this win, the Colombian pro officially crossed the $1 million threshold in total live earnings.

RPT Super High Roller Glory for Buu Nghia Le

On the final day of the RPT Championship II, two high-stakes players secured their spots on the RPT champions list and successfully etched their names in the history books. Vietnam’s Buu Nghia Le won the RPT Super High Roller, earning a career-best prize of VND 1,567,000,000 (~$59,500) along with his first RPT trophy to cap off his run in style, adding 1,370.41 points to his SPI score.

Trung Kien Nguyen Wins in Final Festival Event

The final winner of the festival in the RPT Last Chance High Roller was another local player, Trung Kien Nguyen , who also claimed his first RPT title after outlasting a field of 47 entries and taking home the VND 495,000,000 (~$18,795) top prize as well as 708.74 SPI points.
