What does Las Vegas in November mean to you? For us, it’s perfect weather, car conventions, and the North American Poker Tour at Resorts World. At least over the last three years, that’s how it’s been.

However, it seems that something wicked comes to the casino. The famous venue is now rumored to be reconsidering its world-class poker room amid declining foot traffic. Even though there are new rumours every day in Las Vegas, this one’s starting to smell like smoke.

Resorts World rumors start circulating

Until Wednesday, the NAPT is keeping its temporary home at the venue, but the rumours about the casino’s poker room have escaped to the X-verse before the series could leave Las Vegas.

There is nothing to conclude from yet. “Vital Vegas”, also known as Scott Roeben, has a questionable track record in the Vegas whisper trade. The luxury venue, on the other hand, found itself caught up in numerous legal and financial controversies, lending credibility to this scenario. The casino is not commenting on it, but the rumours suggest that brass are considering closing the poker room or bringing in a third-party operator. Roeben predicts the casino’s closure by the end of 2025, and we probably agree. It’s truly a shame, as Leon Wheeler and his team’s rooms are one of the best in town.
