Action on Day 2 closed in after ITM was reached at 135 entries by the seventh level of the day. Chip leader Aaron Lim delivered the bubble after eliminating local runner Gary Moon with against the latter’s AhQs in a blind vs blind all-in preflop race. In doing so, Lim breached the one million mark after claiming the 350,000 pot and sits with a massive 180 BB stack heading into Day 3.

Only 134 will return to the felt this afternoon considering Japan’s Masaki Nakamura managed to make the money across both live and online setting. Nakamura’s smaller stack will be pulled out of play and credited a minimum payout of KRW 3,700,000 (~US$ 2,800), with his larger 197,000 chip count moving forward.

Today’s games are where decisions start to matter more with the money trickling in and the field drawing some of the fiercest contenders in the industry. Among those are previous APT Main Event champions including sixteen-time APT champions Lester Edoc (658,000), and Mike Takayama (108,000), and APT Taipei Main Event champion Punnat Punsri (216,000).
