Day 7 of RDPT Plus Jeju 2026 at LES A Casino was headlined by the final two flights of the Red Dragon Plus Championship, which brought the total field to a massive 901 entries and a prize pool of over KRW 3 billion. Vietnam’s Quang Huy Nguyen topped the Day 1C field, while Chengkun Zhao led the Day 1D Turbo flight, with registration remaining open until the start of Day 2 today.

Alongside the tournament action, organizers officially announced the next RDPT Plus Jeju for July 8 to 19. To celebrate, a lucky draw was launched, offering players on-site a chance to win a free seat to the upcoming July festival.

The Red Dragon Plus Championship successfully completed its opening flights, creating a large field for Day 2. The prize pool surged past KRW 3 billion (more than USD $2 million), making this one of the most popular events on the regional calendar.

Vietnam’s Quang Huy Nguyen Led Day 1C

Day 1C drew the largest field among all Day 1 flights, with 311 players who joined the action. Vietnam’s Quang Huy Nguyen emerged as the top performer of this group, finishing with 484,000 chips (161 big blinds). Nguyen, a highly respected poker player with over $1.7 million in career winnings, was joined at the top by China’s Zhemin Xu with 478,000 (159 big blinds) and Chuanshu Chen with 466,000 (155 big blinds).

The final round, Day 1D (Turbo) , added another 69 entries to the field, and Chengkun Zhao ended that session as the top player with 477,000 chips (159 big blinds). Across all four starting rounds, the total entry count reached 901, with 303 players who secured their spots for Day 2.

While registration remained open until the start of Day 2, those who entered at the last minute began their journey with a smaller starting stack of 20 big blinds.

The spotlight today fell on the Red Dragon Prestige Super High Roller , which stood out as the biggest buy-in of the entire series. Kicking off at 15:00, this elite event provided players with a 600,000-chip starting stack and 40-minute levels. The opening day was scheduled to play through 12 levels before survivors bagged up for the final day.

Somuchpoker will provide live coverage for Day 1 of the Red Dragon Prestige Super High Roller today.

Players also had two opportunities to join the Mini Main Event today. Day 1A began at noon with 30-minute levels, followed by the Day 1B Turbo flight at 18:00, which featured faster 20-minute levels. Both starting flights allowed for registration through the first 9 levels.
