Malaysia Open Hits Record for the Year with 1,963 Entries at Poker Dream 26 Malaysia
Day 3 of Poker Dream 26 Malaysia at Genting Highlands had a big number to show for itself: 1,963 entries in the Malaysia Open, making it the biggest edition of the event this year. A MYR 1,500 (~USD 365) buy-in turned into a MYR 2,313,285 (~USD 566,000) prize pool, leaving the MYR 1,500,000 (~USD 365,000) guarantee well behind and MYR 323,000 (~USD 79,060) waiting for the eventual champion.
With the opening flights complete, 289 players return for Day 2 of the Malaysia Open, all guaranteed at least MYR 2,800 (~USD 685). Play gets underway at 11:00 a.m., with the remaining field set to play down to a winner.
Kin Hon Kenneth Fong Leads Malaysia Open Day 2

Kin Hon Kenneth Fong put together the largest stack across the opening flights, finishing Day 1D with 772,000 chips from a field of 363 entries. He ended the flight more than 300,000 chips ahead of his nearest rival, giving him the overall lead heading into Day 2.
India's Aditya Sushant bagged 479,000 in Flight D, while Malaysia's Chee Seng Ng finished with 463,000.

Flight E brought in the biggest starting field, with 469 entries. Zachary Lim Zoe-Win led the survivors with 578,000, followed by Ji-Keat Ler on 553,000 and Leonardo Louis on 482,000. Lim topped the flight, but Fong's earlier stack remained the benchmark across the field.
Xianfu Li is Fong's closest challenger with 765,000, while Damien Peter Stanley sits third with 691,000. Senhui James Wang and Yun Xiang Lee round out the top five with 663,000 and 622,000, respectively.

Sok Pinard Pol Bags Mystery Bounty Turbo Title

France's Sok Pinard Pol took down the first Mystery Bounty Turbo, outlasting a field of 167 entries in the MYR 1,000 event to collect MYR 38,200 (~USD 9,350).
Pol also drew the tournament's biggest bounty, worth MYR 13,000 (~USD 3,180), after defeating Damien Peter Stanley heads-up.
The event generated a prize pool of MYR 131,262 (~USD 32,120), adding another winner to the growing list of Poker Dream 26 Malaysia champions.

Pulenthiran Sritharan Gets His Turn
Pulenthiran Sritharan made his second shot at the Mystery Bounty Turbo count, winning the late-night edition after finishing third in the same event two days earlier. The all-Malaysian final table saw him take home the trophy.
The MYR 1,000 tournament drew 142 entries and produced a prize pool of MYR 111,612 (~USD 27,310). This time, Sritharan went all the way to claim the title.

Peng Fei Kim Ends Yujian Eugene Zhou's Trophy Run

Peng Fei Kim claimed his first Poker Dream trophy in the PL Double Draw Mix (2-7, A-5, Badugi) – Turbo, stopping Yujian Eugene Zhou from adding a third consecutive title.
Zhou finished fourth, but his run was far from quiet. The result marked his fourth final-table appearance of the series, following his back-to-back wins in 7 Card Stud – Turbo and NL Single Draw Mix.
While the trophy streak ended, Zhou continued to put together deep runs as Poker Dream 26 Malaysia moved closer to its finish.
