Cards are officially in the air as the Korea Poker Cup makes its highly anticipated return to Jeju Island for its second edition. The weeklong festival is now underway at the Landing Casino inside the Jeju Shinhwa World Resort with games running from today June 17 to 23, 2025.

Korea Poker Cup 2 Underway

Following a successful standalone debut last April, the Korea Poker Cup, sponsored by QQPK, wasted no time in solidifying its place on the regional calendar. This latest installment has a slightly larger lineup with 27 trophies up for grabs. And, that's not the only thing that has been boosted. The festival guarantee is up as well to KR₩ 1.36 Billion which is just shy of a million US dollars.

Headlining the games is the KR₩ 880,000,000 (~USD 637,480) Main Event which is up ten percent more than the previous guarantee. As one of the fastest growing brands, players can expect this figure to be surpassed as it did during its inaugural edition that saw a prize pool of KR₩ 1.3 Billion (~USD 917,705). The event runs from June 18 to 23 with six entry flights and buy-in at KR₩ 1,300,000 (~USD 940).

To spice up the action, KPC is offering a lucrative bonus for players  that qualify for Day 2 multiple times. The more flights one survives, the bigger the reward.

Bonus for Advancing Multiple Day 1 Flights:

  • Advance in 2 flights: KR₩ 4,000,000

  • Advance in 3 flights: KR₩ 11,500,000

  • Advance in 4 flights: KR₩ 23,000,000
