Jeremy Ausmus added another title to his impressive poker résumé after winning Event #7 of the 2026 Poker Masters, earning $278,400 and his 10th career PokerGO Tour (PGT) title. The $15,700 No-Limit Hold’em tournament attracted 58 entries and generated an $870,000 prize pool at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.

Ausmus defeated Aram Oganyan heads-up to secure the victory, while Spain’s Adrian Mateos finished fourth to strengthen his lead in the race for the coveted Poker Masters Purple Jacket. How Jeremy Ausmus Won Poker Masters Event #7

Five players returned for the final day, with Oganyan holding the chip lead and Mateos close behind. Ausmus began the session in third place, ahead of Cherish Andrews and Joe McKeehen.

Ausmus scored the first elimination of the day when Andrews moved all-in with A♠ Q♣ against Ausmus’ 9♥ 9♣. The pocket nines held, sending Andrews to the rail in fifth place for $65,250.

Adrian Mateos was the next player eliminated. After losing a significant pot to Aram Oganyan, the Spaniard was left short-stacked. He eventually committed his remaining chips in a confrontation involving Oganyan and Ausmus, who held pocket nines. Mateos was eliminated in fourth place for $87,000.

Ausmus continued his climb when he picked up pocket kings against McKeehen’s pocket nines. The 2015 WSOP Main Event champion failed to improve and finished third for $121,800, setting up a heads-up contest between Ausmus and Oganyan.

Jeremy Ausmus Overcomes Oganyan Heads-Up

Ausmus entered heads-up play with a substantial chip advantage, but Oganyan fought back and briefly took the lead. The decisive turning point came when Ausmus completed a straight on the river against Oganyan’s three of a kind.

Oganyan moved all-in, and Ausmus made the call with his completed straight. The pot gave Ausmus a commanding lead, leaving Oganyan with a difficult path back into contention.

Oganyan managed to double up afterward, but the comeback did not last. On the final hand, Ausmus held Q♥ 7♠ against Oganyan’s J♦ 5♠. Neither player improved on the board, and Ausmus’ queen-high was enough to win the pot and secure the title.

Oganyan collected $174,000 for his runner-up finish, while Ausmus took home the $278,400 first-place prize.
