Justin Vaysman Wins Poker Masters Event #6 After Stunning Comeback

Whether grinding online poker or battling on the live tournament circuit, coming back from a fraction of a big blind is every player's ultimate dream. Justin Vaysman pulled off an incredible comeback to win Event #6 of the 2026 Poker Masters, earning $192,000 after defeating Sean Winter heads-up. With five players remaining, Vaysman was down to just 20,000 chips, a quarter of a big blind, but fought back to claim his first PokerGO Tour (PGT) title.
The $10,500 No-Limit Hold'em event attracted 64 entries and generated a $640,000 prize pool. Vaysman's victory earned him 192 PGT points and moved him into fifth place in the 2026 Poker Masters leaderboard.
The Justin Vaysman Comeback from 0.25 Big Blinds
Sean Winter entered the final table as the chip leader, with Victoria Livschitz and Justin Vaysman also among the main contenders. Livschitz got off to a strong start, eliminating Sam Laskowitz in seventh place and Joey Weissman in sixth.
With five players left, Vaysman lost a major pot to Winter and was left with just 20,000 chips at blinds of 40,000/80,000 with an 80,000 big blind ante. His tournament appeared all but over, but a series of double-ups kept him alive.
A key moment in the Justin Vaysman comeback came in a three-way all-in against Winter and Brandon Wilson. Holding A♣9♣, Vaysman was up against Wilson's A♥K♠ and Winter's K♣3♥. The board ran out 5♦8♦6♣7♣7♦, giving Vaysman a nine-high straight and tripling his stack.
Wilson was eliminated shortly afterward, while Winter later sent Livschitz to the rail in third place. The stage was set for a heads-up battle between Winter and Vaysman, with Winter holding a substantial chip lead.
Vaysman Overcomes Sean Winter Heads-Up
Winter began heads-up play with approximately 61 big blinds to Vaysman's 19. However, Vaysman gradually worked his way back into contention before making a pivotal call against Winter.
On a K♠A♥9♣Q♥2♣ board, Vaysman called bets on all three streets with K♥6♣, including Winter's river shove. Winter showed T♥6♦, giving Vaysman a pair of kings and putting him in the chip lead.
The tournament ended just two hands later. In a limped pot, Vaysman held T♠9♥ on a T♦9♦7♣ flop, giving him top two pair. Winter had J♦3♦ for a flush draw and check-raised the flop before moving all-in on the K♥ turn.
Vaysman called, and Winter needed to improve on the river to stay alive. Instead, the T♥ gave Vaysman a full house, securing the title and the $192,000 first-place prize. Winter finished runner-up for $124,800.
