APT Manila Classic 2025 Main Event Reaches Final Table
The largest and richest Asian Poker Tour Main Event in the Philippines is just one step away from crowning a winner in the APT Manila Classic 1,202 entry strong field, all of which ponied up the ₱60,000 (~$1,031) buy-in. Throughout the last two days, a big portion of the ₱62,311,680 (~$1,072,158) prize pool has already been distributed but the biggest slices will be up for grabs in today’s live-streamed final table showdown.
APT Manila Classic Main Event Day 4

Three players from Russia reached the APT Manila Classic Main Event final nine led by Dmitrii Belikov with a stack of 8,890,000, while Alexander Ugay (4,720,000) and Ivan Govorov (3,390,000) are in the middle of the pack. Japan’s Hiroya Iwamoto is second on the leaderboard with 8,225,000, Or Nezer (6,660,000) and Dylan Foster (6,615,000) are separated by a fraction of a big blind only.
Day 3 chip leader Jie Zhang also secured his final table seat and is the lone player flying the Hong Kong flag. Austria’s Samuel Mullur is one of the shorter stacks on 2,150,000. He has nearly $4.8 million in cashes to his name and won the GGMillion$ High Roller Championship at the 2023 WSOP Paradise for his first gold bracelet. Bringing up the rear is Iceland’s Adalsteinn Karlsson.
Day 4 saw 48 hopefuls cut down to the final nine and some of the notables bowing out included Javier Zarco, Seungmook Jung, Terry Gonzaga, Rishi Mehra, Siddharth Karia, Nobuaki Sasaki, Vlada Stojanovic, and Lars Kamphues. Another three players from Japan reached the final two tables with Michihiko Matsuda as he last casualty of the day, taking home ₱679,000 (~ $11,683) for 10th place.
The final nine hopefuls have locked up ₱819,000 (~$14,072) for their efforts and the winner will receive a top prize of ₱11,069,680 (~$190,201). That’s almost one hundred and ninety times the buy-in, not too shabby for a couple days of work.
Other Highlights of APT Manila Classic
Several winners were crowned as the APT Manila Classic nears the conclusion. The biggest cash prize of the day went to Matthew Wakeman. The Aussie regular took down the ₱1.5 Million (~$25,774) Superstar Challenge after entering the final day with a comfortable lead. Another big winner on the day was Matthias Lipp from Austria, who walked away with ₱4,168,200 (~$ 71,720) for his triumph in the Zodiac Classic sponsored by Natural8. Kilian Kramer won the NLHE PLO Mix, while Mystery Bounty champion Kunal Patni repeated his feat of the previous APT stop and earned a second trophy.

21 ponied up the ₱1.5 Million (~USD 25,774) Superstar Challenge buy in with Australia's Matthew Wakeman coming out on top after entering the final day with a comfortable lead. Six players returned to Day 2 and Victor Dai was first to go, Danilo Velasevic then bubbled against Punnat Punsri.Despite winning that hand, Punsri was the first to earn a piece of the ₱29 Million (~USD 511,000) prize pool followed by Super High Roller champion Tobias Schwecht. Singapore's Bao Qiang Ho was denied a second trophy within a few days and had to settle for second place worth ₱8,342,000 (~USD 143,330). Wakeman's victory came with a boost of ₱12,512,125 (~USD 214,985) for his bankroll. This was his second largest career score.

Kunal Patni repeated his feat of the previous APT stop and earned a second trophy. This time, it was a ₱150,000 (~$2,578) Single Day High Roller with an 85-entry strong field, which paid a top prize of ₱3,030,000 (~$52,135).
Mini Main Event Day 1

The day also featured all three flights of the ₱25,000 (~$430) Mini Main Event, each of which played to the money. Day 1a attracted 224 entries with 32 players advancing, led by Raju Jaruplavath on 914,000 chips. Joseph Magnotti, John Costiniano, and John Jay Magadan were notable survivors.
Seungmook Jung bagged an identical 914,000 in flight 1b out of 227 entries, as another 32 players advanced. Czar Ian Marcos, Ashley Patterson, and Vineet Kumar made it through as well. The final starting day attracted 157 entries and brought with it 157 survivors. Jesse Rivera (860,000) and Kiyoung Kim (787,000) bagged big, as did Edwin Dela Cruz (572,000) and Terry Gonzaga (481,000).
The initial guarantee was more than doubled to ₱13,132,800 (~$225,968) thanks to 608 total entries, and 86 players reached the money. A top prize of ₱2,525,800 (~$43,460) awaits to the eventual champion as of 11.15 a.m. local time in Manila.
On the penultimate day of the festival, the highly anticipated ₱15 Million guaranteed APT High Roller kicks off at noon with a price tag of ₱200,000 (~$,437), The more affordable Double Stack comes with a price tag of ₱20,000 (~$344) for the low to mid-stakes grinders, along with several mixed game variants.
