WSOP Paradise 2026 is a different series now. New venue. Five extra bracelets. The schedule has a middle class. And no Triton Poker anywhere on it for the first time in three years.
$120 million guaranteed across 20 events, GGMillion$, Super Main, Super High Roller Invitational, and many more exciting events, running December 2-17 at Baha Mar in Nassau.
WSOP Paradise 2026

| Venue | Baha Mar Resort, Nassau, Bahamas |
| Previous venue | Atlantis, Paradise Island (2023-2025) |

Baha Mar is a different kind of host to Atlantis. Three hotels on one property – Grand Hyatt, SLS and Rosewood – sharing a casino floor, a beach, a golf course and a restaurant strip. Everything is within walking distance.
Why the $50 Million Guarantee Is a Floor, Not a Ceiling
On paper, the Super Main Event guarantee went backward – from $60 million in 2025 to $50 million in 2026.
| Year | Guarantee | Entries | Actual prize pool | Champion | Top prize |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2023 | $15M | 3,010 | $15,050,000 | Stanislav Zegal | $2,000,000 |
| 2024 | $50M | 1,978 | $50,000,000 (with $550K overlay) | Yinan Zhou | $6,000,000 |
| 2025 | $60M | 2,891 | $72,275,000 | Bernhard Binder | $10,000,000 |
| 2026 | $50M | – | – | – | – |
The 2026 guarantee sits more than $22 million below what the same tournament actually generated twelve months ago. Break-even is roughly 2,000 entries. The 2025 field was 2,891.
So the $50 million is not a prediction of a smaller prize pool. But WSOP is protecting itself against a bad year at a new venue, while the real number takes care of itself. Five Day 1 flights from December 10-14 give the field plenty of room to build.

The Three Events Carrying the Series
Twenty bracelets are on offer, but three of them hold most of the money.
| Event | Buy-in | Starts | Flights | Guaranteed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #1 Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty | $2,750 | Dec 2 | 4 | $5M |
| #4 GGMillion$ NLH Championship | $10,000 | Dec 5 | 3 | $20M |
| #12 Super Main Event | $26,000 | Dec 10 | 5 | $50M |
That is $75 million of the $120 million series guarantee sitting in three tournaments – just under two-thirds of the whole festival.
The Circuit Championship opens the series and is the cheapest bracelet in the building. Over 1,000 ring winners from the 2026 WSOP Circuit season are eligible, and they do not pay to enter – all 1,023 of them get a Day 1A seat as part of a complimentary package.
The GGMillion$ Championship changed the most. Last year it was a $25,000 single-day turbo with a $10 million guarantee. This year the buy-in is $10,000, the guarantee is $20 million, and it runs as a proper multi-day event with three starting flights. Half the price, double the money. Expect a large field.
The Super Main Event is the reason most people book the trip. Five Day 1 flights from December 10-14, a $50 million guarantee, and a first prize that has paid $6 million and $10 million in the last two years.
WSOP promotional graphics are billed at $2.5K, $10K, and $25K. Those are base buy-ins. The Circuit Championship is $2,750 all-in, and the Super Main is $26,000 all-in – see the pricing note under the full schedule below.

Mixed Game Players Finally Get a Real Schedule
If you play anything other than hold’em, 2026 is the first Paradise built with you in mind.
Last year, we offered four PLO events and an 8-game mix. This year:
- Five dedicated PLO events, including turbo and high roller formats
- A $26,000 PLO/NLH mixed high roller
- A $5,300 Bahamas Big Bet Mix played as Dealer’s Choice
- A $10,000 8-Game Mixed
- A $26,000 9-Game Mixed Championship
- A $2,750 Double Board Bomb Pot PLO
That is nine non-hold’em bracelets out of 20. Paradise stops being a two-week high roller sprint and starts looking like Las Vegas in miniature.
One scheduling headache to plan around: the 9-Game Mixed Championship starts on December 10, the same day as the Super Main Event. The Super Main has five starting flights, so mixed-game specialists can play Event #13 and still fire a later Day 1. Do not leave it to chance.
Four Years of Paradise, in Short
The WSOP launched its winter series in 2023 as an experiment. It has changed character every year since.
The first edition was a genuine mass-market festival. Fifteen events, buy-ins from $800, and a $5,000 Main Event that pulled 3,010 entries. Stanislav Zegal won it for $2 million as an online qualifier playing his first live final table.
Then it went upmarket, fast. In 2024, the WSOP replaced the Main Event with a $25,000 Super Main and added a $50 million guarantee. The field came up 22 entries short, and the WSOP paid a $550,000 overlay rather than miss the number.
2025 doubled down. The guarantee went to $60 million, the highest ever attached to a poker tournament. This time the field showed up – 2,891 entries, a $72,275,000 prize pool, and the eighth-largest prize pool in poker history. Bernhard Binder won $10 million.
The series total that year hit $201.8 million, the largest poker festival ever staged outside Las Vegas. But look closer, and there is a pattern nobody talks about.
| Year | Events | Total entries | Total prize pool |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2023 | 15 | 11,900+ (live events) | $70M+ |
| 2024 | 15 | 9,494 | ~$160.6M |
| 2025 | 15 | 8,015 | $201.8M |
Fewer players every single year. More money every single year. Paradise had been quietly turning into a private club.
Player of the Year Comes Down to These Two Weeks
The 2026 WSOP Player of the Year points come from three series: Europe, Las Vegas, and Paradise. Europe and Las Vegas are already in the books. Whoever leads after the last hand in the Bahamas takes the title.
And the leaderboard is tight.
| # | Player | Country | Points | Leaderboard prize |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Shaun Deeb | USA | 3,410 | $100K Paradise Package |
| 2 | Naoya Kihara | Japan | 3,388 | $100K Paradise Package |
| 3 | Alex Foxen | USA | 3,381 | $100K Paradise Package |
| 4 | Justin Liberto | USA | 2,827 | $30K Super Main Event Package |
| 5 | Joshua Arieh | USA | 2,750 | $30K Super Main Event Package |
| 6 | Daniel Negreanu | Canada | 2,698 | $30K Super Main Event Package |
| 7 | Jesse Lonis | USA | 2,674 | $30K Super Main Event Package |
| 8 | Eelis Pärssinen | Finland | 2,638 | $30K Super Main Event Package |
| 9 | Michael Moncek | USA | 2,592 | $30K Super Main Event Package |
| 10 | Joshua Reichard | USA | 2,575 | $30K Super Main Event Package |
Standings and prizes from the official WSOP Player of the Year leaderboard. The WSOP lists Foxen as William Foxen and Pärssinen as Eelis Jaakko Eino Paerssinen.
Every player in that top ten has already won a paid trip to the Bahamas. The top three take a $100,000 Paradise Package. Ranks four to ten each receive a $30,000 Super Main Event Package.
That is a smart piece of design by the WSOP. It means the Player of the Year race cannot fizzle out – the ten people with something to play for are all guaranteed to be in the building, seats already paid for. Nobody skips the decider.
Twenty-nine points separate first from third. A single deep run flips the standings.
Watch Naoya Kihara. The expanded mixed game slate is tailor-made for a specialist, and there are nine non-hold’em bracelets on offer. That is a lot of scoring opportunity for a player whose edge is widest away from no-limit – and he is 22 points off top spot with a free seat in his pocket.
Getting There Without Paying $26,000
Most of the field will not buy in directly, and they never have.
GGPoker, the WSOP’s official online partner, runs WSOP Express satellites from $0.50 that ladder up to a $30,000 Super Pass covering the Super Main Event seat plus travel. Over 1,000 Super Passes are available for this year’s series, and the qualifiers are already running.
Playing from Asia? WSOP Express runs on Natural8 too. It is the same network and the same player pool as GGPoker – same satellites, same schedule, just a different front door and the better fit if you are in an Asian market. Passes won on Natural8 also open doors at Asian Poker Tour, Ace Poker League, and King Series of Poker events.
The route works better than most people assume. In the 2025 Super Main Event, online qualifiers made up 516 of the 2,891 entries – 17.8% of the field – and took 31.9% of the prize pool. Bernhard Binder won the whole thing for $10 million after qualifying through a $2,500 satellite. Franco Spitale reached the same final table for $1.1 million from a $150 buy-in.
If you are opening an account to chase a seat, our GGPoker bonus code page covers the current welcome offer, and the full GGPoker review covers traffic, licensing, and rakeback.

Buying In Directly
Two early bird packages are open, both with deposits due October 31.
- $100K Paradise Package – 16 nights at Baha Mar Deluxe, resort fees included, for a $100,000 minimum in tournament buy-ins. $5,000 deposit.
- $300K VIP Package – 16 nights in a Baha Mar Suite plus VIP airport fast track, SUV transfers, and buffet access, for a $300,000 minimum. $10,000 deposit.
Both require playing GGMillion$ Day 1A and Super Main Event Day 1A.
If you won a WSOP Circuit ring between December 2025 and November 2026, you are already invited. All 1,023 ring winners receive a complimentary package worth $5,000 – a Circuit Championship Day 1A entry, four nights at the hotel, and player buffet access.
Final Thoughts on WSOP Paradise 2026
This is the most interesting Paradise schedule since the first one.
The series spent three years chasing bigger numbers with fewer players. 2026 goes the other way: more events, more entry points, more game variety, and the nosebleed tier cut in half. Losing Triton costs the series some prestige and a chunk of headline prize money. It buys back a schedule that more people can actually play.
The satellites are all year at GGPoker. Start laddering early, and you’ll get several shots at a seat.
