Adrian Mateos finished on top of the 2026 Poker Masters leaderboard to claim the Purple Jacket and a $25,000 PGT Passport bonus. The Spaniard secured the overall title with 451 points after cashing three times during the 10-event series, including a victory in Event #5.

The final standings were not settled until the last tournament at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. Sean Winter won the $51,000 finale for $620,000, while Jeremy Ausmus needed a second-place finish or better to overtake Mateos. Ausmus made it to the money but was eliminated in fourth, confirming Mateos as the series champion.

Sean Winter Wins the $51,000 Poker Masters Finale

The final event of the 2026 Poker Masters drew 31 entries and generated a $1.55 million prize pool. With $620,000 up top, the $51,000 No-Limit Hold’em tournament offered the largest first-place prize of the series.

Sean Winter defeated Sam Laskowitz heads-up to take the title. Laskowitz earned $387,500 for second place, while Igor Yaroshevskyy finished third for $248,000.

The final table also decided the Purple Jacket race. Jeremy Ausmus was the only player who could still catch Mateos, but he needed to finish first or second. His run ended in fourth place for $170,500, leaving him short of the 451 points Mateos had already accumulated.

With Ausmus eliminated, the series title was settled. Winter went on to win the tournament, adding another PGT title to his record, while Adrian Mateos secured the overall Poker Masters victory and the Purple Jacket without needing to return to the table.

Mateos was the only player to win Event #5 and also record a runner-up finish in Event #2 and a fourth-place finish in Event #7. Those three results proved enough to secure the Purple Jacket, even though he failed to cash in the other seven tournaments.

Adrian Mateos’ Results at the 2026 Poker Masters

Mateos’ series title was built on three strong finishes rather than a high number of cashes. He opened his campaign with a second-place finish in Event #2, losing heads-up to Nick Palma for $151,200.

His breakthrough came in Event #5, where he topped a field of 85 entries to win $229,500 and 230 PGT points. The result moved him into the lead in the overall standings.

Mateos added another $87,000 with a fourth-place finish in Event #7. Although he did not reach the money in his remaining events, the points from those three finishes gave him a total of 451, enough to stay ahead through the finale.

Adrian Mateos finished the series with $467,700 in prize money from his three cashes. He also recorded five bubble finishes across the 10 events, making his overall victory a result of converting his strongest runs into substantial points rather than cashing consistently throughout the schedule.

The Purple Jacket adds another achievement to an already successful year for the Spaniard, who has continued to collect major results on the live tournament circuit.

Final Poker Masters 2026 Purple Jacket Leaderboard

Adrian Mateos finished 44 points ahead of Nick Palma, who finished second with 407 points. Nick Seward climbed to third after winning Event #9, while Jeremy Ausmus’ late run in the finale moved him into fourth overall.

The final top five also included Vitalijs Zavorotnijs, Event #4 winner, who finished with 365 points.

Although Seward and Ausmus both earned more in total prize money than Mateos, the Spaniard finished first in the points race. The leaderboard rewards results across the series, so a player's overall position does not necessarily match their total tournament earnings.

The 2026 Poker Masters Purple Jacket adds to Mateos’ impressive record in both live and online poker.
