In collaboration with the Hanoi Series of Poker (HSOP) and Korea Mind Game Members (KMGM), the battle for the first ever Hanoi Super Series MAIN EVENT title is at hand. Hosted by the Grand Loyal Poker Club, the festival headliner kicked off on November 30, drawing a substantial 352 entries over three entry heats. With buy in at ₫20,000,000 each, the pot surged way past the guarantee for a much healthier ₫6,316,640,000 prize pool. At Day 2, 44 players returned with 36 players shaving respective portions, and concluding at the formation of the final 8 players.

Main Event – Final 8 review

Round two for Hoang Hai Nam aka Luckyman9999 who is back at the final table, this time as chip leader, and battling for the largest cash prize of ₫1,379,000,000 (~$56,600). At the start of the series, Hoang built a strong presence at the Warm Up final table and finished in 4th place.

Joining Hoang at the final table are four other countrymen which included APT Warm Up Series Super High Roller championNguyen Ngoc Dai, Jeny Ngo, Cua, andNguyen Thanh Long aka Tom who topped the Day 1 survivors list. The other three seats were secured by two players from Korea, Korea Mind Game Members (KMGM) Seo Eui Yeon and Jae Sung Kim, and William Kang from the United Kingdom.

The finalists return on Saturday, December 3 at 12pm to chase down the coveted title. Each one is guaranteed a minimum payout of ₫155,000,000 (~$6,360). Catch the race to the throne via the livestream on the Grand Loyal Poker Club facebook page.
