Play dragged on for over two more hours before Australia's William Jia lost a flip against Nguyen Khoi for his tournament life, to crash in 5th place finish. Down to four local players, Pham Thanh Nghia found himself amongst the shortest and eventually committed his last ten big blinds with A♥ 4♦ against aggressive Dao Minh Phu's K♦ 9♥ .
