TMTC Main Event Day 1B Starts At 12pm
Welcome to another day at the inaugural TMT Championship with Day 1B of the Main Event under the spotlight today, November 2, 2024. The is the second of four starting days scheduled to try to secure a piece of the US$ 600,000 guarantee.
Due to the recent typhoon, the Main Event schedule was affected. All events starting October 31, were moved one day forward. This means, the Main Event will now crown a champion on November 5 instead of the initially scheduled November 4.
This being the first ever edition, the TMTC Main Event has already displayed impressive numbers with Day 1A attracting 329 entries. There is a high chance that today's flight will breach the guarantee and with two more flights to follow, a seven figure USD prize pool is also a possibility.
At Day 1A, out of the 50 players that advanced to Day 2, Andrew Ma (Chun Yu Ma) set the bar of 1,180,000 in chips. Other notables that made the cut were Sparrow Cheung (Park Yu Cheung), Hyunsup Kim, Ko Chia Hsiang, and Chung Yi Ho to mention a few.
Interested players will have to pony up the NT$ 33,000 (~US$ 1,030) buy in. This starts one off with a 50,000 stack. Blinds increase every 40 minutes with registration closing at the start of Level 9 at 6:45pm. The day ends when ITM of 15% of the field is reached.
Somuchpoker will be onsite to provide updates throughout the day.
