James Chen takes down the Aussie Millions A$25,000 Challenge High Roller Event

The Aussie Millions biggest ever A$25,000 Challenge High Roller Event finished last night with James Chen from Taiwan taking down a field of 133 entries to win a whopping A$861,840 (approx. US$650,000).

Chen, who only really seriously joined the tournament circuit in 2014, opened up the year 2017 by winning the Aussie Millions A$2,500 H.O.R.S.E. for A$39,700 (approx. US$ 29,322) last week and amazed the community by winning his highest ever cash earnings in a live tournament with the High Roller Event.

Chen won the Macau Poker Cup (MPC) High Roller Event in September last year for US$293,044 and the year before that for US $219,850

Other notable players that made it to the final table were November Niner Antoine Saout who placed 3rdfor A$383,040 and John Juanda who followed in 4thplace for A$287,280.

Festivities are notending with this event as there are still the $100,000 and the $250,000 High Roller Events to follow.
