Right the halfway point of the festival, Germany's Dominik Nitsche delivered an impressive performance in the Deepstack Turbo HR, and added another WPT trophy to his impressive collection, taking with him $48,943 in prizes. The $3,000 buy-in side event attracted 57 entries, creating a prize pool of $154,812, which was distributed among the full final table of nine players.

Nitsche dominated the final rounds and had amassed 70% of the chips in play by the time the final hand was dealt. On the button, Nitsche open raised all-in with K♦ J♣ , and saw both Renat Bohdanov Q♥ J♠ and Sho Homma K♣ Q♠ put their tournament lives on the line. The board ran out K♥ 5♦ 6♠ 3♠ J♦, giving Nitsche two pair to simultaneously eliminate both opponents and close out the victory in style.
