APT Main Event (2,600,000 KRW)

After a relatively short bubble period in the 2025 APT Jeju Main Event, 247 players have locked up a payout and secured their spots in Day 3.

The APT Jeju Main Event is officially the largest international poker tournament ever to play out in Korea, with a massive 1,693 (905 unique) entries generating the tour's richest Korean-based prize pool of KRW 3,761,155,200 (~USD 2,686,540).

All remaining players are guaranteed a minimum pay-out of KRW 4,020,000 (~$2,870) but all will be eyeing up the first-place prize of KRW 649,835,200 (~$464,170).

The first player to earn a minimum cash payout is Iceland's Adalsteinn Karlsson who cashed in the OnLive event as well as bagging a stack of 501,000 in today's live Day 2 meaning he will carry through this stack through to Day 3 and also earn the OnLive cash. Due to this only 246 players will be taking their seats tomorrow.

Leading the field is Taiwan’s Yu Huang, who finished Day 2 with a massive 869,000 chips. Hot on Sun’s heels is China’s Jieming Xu with 867,000 followed closely by Cypriot Andreas Christodoulou with 810,000 who rounds out the top three.

Huang has just over $400,000 in lifetime earnings & Xu has just over $500,000 and is looking for his first major title after numerous close misses. Christodoulou has just over $150,000 in lifetime earnings and is also hunting down his first major title.

Also sitting in the top ten and not too far behind the leaders is Georgios Skarparis (803,000). Skarparis has just over $1,500,000 in lifetime earnings and holds a WSOP bracelet.

American player Christopher Park will be looking to take his lifetime earnings to over $1,200,000 and is sitting just in the top forty in 39th place with 468,000 chips.

Other Notable Players Bagging Up

WSOP Bracelet holder China’s Peng Zhou is taking a healthy stack through to Day 3 with 676,000 in chips. WSOP Ring Holder, Brit Guy Taylor, takes through 569,000 and The Netherlands’ Tom Verbruggen made it through with 369,000.

The Czech Republic’s Roman Hrabec who has nearly $13,000,000 in live earnings takes a healthy 454,000 chips through to Day 3 and will be looking to add to his plethora of Asian tour titles and final tables. Germany’s Martin Sedlak will be looking to break the one milly mark in lifetime earnings by hitting a final table spot and takes through 450,000 in chips.

Thailand's Punnat Punsri with over $30,000,000 in lifetime earnings sits in 150th spot with 186,000 in chips.

APT Manila 2025 Super High Roller Champion and Flight 1B Chip leader, Malaysia’s William Teoh, is sitting pretty in 12th spot on 700,000 chips and will be looking to make a deep run. APT Taipei Poker Classic 2024 Main Event runner up Singapore’s Abraham Ceesvin will be looking to better that finish and is taking through 595,000 in chips.

APT Taipei Poker Classic Main Event winner Germany’s Rene Von Reden has a nice stack of 573,000 and China’s Mincong Chen will be looking to make it a double Flagship Trophy winning trip and add the Gold Lion APT Main Event Trophy to his Pewter Lion APT Super High Roller Trophy already picked up earlier in the series, however he has work to do sitting in 116th spot with 244,000 in chips.

Start-of-day chip leader Russian Maxim Sorokin (509,000) has made it through to Day 3 along with Flight D frontrunner China’s Chao Ting Cheng (396,000).

Action folded to Natural 8 Ambassador Kitty Kuo in the hijack who open jammed for her last 85,000. Action folded to Peng Zhou in the big blind who made the call.

Not the flop that Kuo wanted to see as the dealer peeled off K♦ A♥ A♦ and the Natural 8 Ambassador had two outs to stay alive unless miracles were to happen.

The 8♣ turn was close but no cigar and when the river bricked out with the 2♣ Kitty Kuo was sent to the rail in 249th place as the unfortunate bubble girl. She did receive a Ultra Stack Ticket worth KRW 850,000 as a consolidatory bubble prize though!

Seung Jennens opened for 12,000 in late position and got a three-bet from Can Wu in the cutoff. Shuo Li four-bet to 60,000 pushing Jennens out of the pot. Wu called to see a flop.

Nearing the bubble and with such a big pot, Wu and Li checked through the river on a board of 8♥ 8♠ 2♥ Q♦ 6♦.

Li showed A♦ J♦ and Wu tabled A♣ K♥ for the winning hand.

Andreas Christodoulou opened with 14,000 under the gun and got two callers Jie Zheng and Zhouyi Wang in the big blind.

The flop came 5♠ T♦ 4♣. Wang and Christodoulou checked the flop and folded after Zheng bet 12,000 into the pot.

Action was picked up with the blinds Junquiang Lyu and Zhongmin Xia with their cards and chips in the middle of the table.

Despite Xia hitting the board with a pair, Lyu reinforced his lead when he caught a set on the flop 5♦ Q♠ T♦.

The turn gave Lyu's a full house when it dropped Q♦, but also improved Xia to trips giving him a few outs.

The river 9♦ was a not one of them.

Lyu doubled up and could continue his run nearing bubble time.

Xiaosheng Zheng was the chip leader as players were nearing the bubble, but he lost a stack after doubling up Daisuke Takeomi in a classic flip of Kings Vs Ace-Queen.

Takeomi got his remaining ~100,000 stack in and held on the J♣ Q♥ T♠ J♠ 8♠ runout.

With 251 players remaining we are nearing the bubble.

When one more player is eliminated the floor will pause the clock and the play will be hand for hand with three minutes deducted per hand.

Jiangpu Jin and his opponent Bizhen Li were already all in with the cards face up, waiting for the board to be dealt.

Jin was in the cutoff and Li in the big blind, they had roughly the same size stacks of around 230,000, with Jin only just covering Li by 45,000.

Jin wasn't behind for long as the flop came K♥ 8♦ A♥.

The J♠ turn made things interesting as it brought in Li the straight draw.

A Q♥ river saw Li shout "Nice!" as he locked the double up. Jin was left very short, just ten players away from the money.

Action folded to Emi Oike on the button who raised to 15,000 only to face a three-bet from Maxim Sorokin in the small blind to 48,000.

Oike countered with a four-bet to 125,000.

Sorokin clicked it back with a five-bet to 200,000.

Oike went into the tank now and pushed out her stack of time-banks being charged two of them before releasing her hand and sending the pot to Sorokin.

Another 15-minute break.

Just a few more eliminations before we hit the 247 magic number for the director to say "Congratulations, you are all in the money!"

Action was caught on a completed board of 8♣ 8♥ 3♥ Q♦ 3♦ and a massive pot of around 150,000. From under the gun, Sung Han Wang fired 60,000. His heads-up opponent on the button, Denghao Chen, went over and bet 5,000 more than the pot evoking a loud groan of frustration from Wang.

Looking absolutely put off, Wang stared at Chen, the board, the pot and threw his hands in the air. He threw his cards to the muck pile as he brought his hands down and gave up on the hand.

Chen started asking Wang if he had pocket kings as he scooped the pot to no avail.

A♠ the bubble looms, Minh Tran opened to 12,000 from under the gun. Jiaming Che three-bet jammed for 134,500.

The big blind tanked, and used a time bank before folding, leaving the action back on Tran.

Tran made a quick call and the players went to the board.

Che was behind pre-flop, and things stayed that way after seeing the J♦ 4♥ 8♥ flop, although it brought in more flush outs for Che.

The K♣ turn was good for Tran, and Che got up from his seat.

A number of players let out a "Wowwww" when the 5♥ river came, saving Che from elimination.

This wasn't the first time Che came back from a near elimination, as a few levels before, Che made a similar comeback.

Sun Ning raised it up to 12,000 from early position only for Jianhui Hong to three-bet to 40,000.

Ning asked to see Hong's stack before four-betting to 87,000. Hong made the call.

The flop came T♥ 3♦ 5♣ and instantly Ning pushed out a stack of 100,000 as a bet. Hong thought for a while before he mucked his hand.

Ning tabled K♣ K♠ to show the table he's not playing games nearing the bubble.

Pisan Kumpree opened to 10,000 in hijack and got called by Chzen Evgenii in the big blind. The flop came 9♦ 6♣ K♠.

Evgenii check-raised Kumpree's bet of 11,000 to 33,000. Looking slightly frustrated, Kumpree gave up his hand and surrendered the pot to Evegenii.

Short-stacked Yuri Salikaev under the gun open-shoved for 31,500 and got called by Xu Zhang taking them to showdown and putting Salikaev's tournament life at risk.

Zhang was way ahead with his big-chick and it stayed that way all through the board of T♠ 2♥ 8♦ 3♥ A♣. Salikaev expected the result as he started picking up his stuff the moment he saw Zhang's hand. He headed off the tournament floor quietly as Zhang scooped the pot.

The Naing had only 2,000 left when he was deducted by sitting on the small blind.

Zu You Wang raised to 10,000 from the hi-jack. The Naing shoved his last 2,000 on the small blind. Tsang Ka Ming defended the big blind.

Ming checked and folded when Wang bet 6,000.

Wang peeled open 7♠ 5♠

The runout came 5♣ 2♣

Naing was drawing dead on the turn and didn't even bother to see the river drop as he left his seat and made his way out of the Main Event.

Jiajia Tan raised from the cut-off to 13,000 and found a call from Luong Kyn in the big blind.

The flop came 9♥ 3♣ 7♣ and Ky check-called Tan's 20,000 continuation bet to see the J♣ come on the turn.

The action went check-check as it did on the 7♥ river.

Tan tabled A♠ 9♠ streaks ahead of Ky's A♦ 3♦ and she was pushed the pot.

Action folded to the blinds. Small blind Zhenyi Huang started the battle by shoving all-in for 549,000 to pressure the short stack of Pingfeng Wu.

Wu tanked before finally agreeing to risk his last 54,000.

We rivered a straight to stay alive and make a crucial double-up.

Guang Zheng raised from under the gun to 10,000 and action folded around to Chun Wong in the small blind who three-bet to 35,000.

Zheng made the call and the flop of 8♥ 2♥ J♥ was peeled off by the dealer. Action went check-check as it did when the T♥ dropped on the turn.

The river brought the K♥ and now Wong bet out for 20,000 which sent Zheng deep into the tank using two time-banks before releasing his hand to send Wong the pot with no showdown.

Zu You Wang opened for 10,000 from early position. Bao Shuang three-bet to 35,000 from the cut-off.

The Naing then shoved all-in for 148,000. Wang stepped down, but Shuang stayed on for a showdown.

Shuang hit a set and had Naing drawing dead by the turn. Naing becomes severely crippled.

Jiaming Che opened to 10,000 and Hao Zhang three-bet to 22,000, sitting to Che's direct left. Che four-bet to 82,000 and Zhang moved all in, more than covering the rest of Che's total 157,000 stack.

Che snap called and immediately flipped over his pocket deuces.

A♠ the dealer picked up the flop, the first card face up was the J♣, which was good for Zhang.

The rest of the flop was fanned, and Che let out a "Yessss!" as he saw the full J♣ 4♠ 2♠ board, giving him a set.

The 8♦ turn didn't change anything and Che only improved further on the 2♦ river, ending the hand with quads.

Bao Shuang opened for 8,000 from early position. Ji Xiaqing then moved all-in for his last 38,000 from the cutoff.

Small blind Pingfeng Wu jammed 95,500 all-in.

Leslie Tsui opened to 9,000 in cutoff and got an all-in shove from big blind Satoshi Matsuda for 20,000. Tsui made the call with a chance to eliminate Matsuda.

Tsui was ahead with ace-high when Matsuda spiked a pair on the flop T♦ 9♥ 8♣. The runout 4♦ and 6♦ didn't change anything giving Matsuda a much-needed double up.

On the 7♦ J♥ T♥ flop and over 15,000 in the middle Hao Lin bet out for 4,000 on the button and was called by Xiaoying Mao from the small blind.

The dealer peeled off the 9♣ as the turn and Mao check-called Lin's bet pof 20,000 now to see the J♦ fall on the river.

Again Mao checked and went into the tank when Lin pushed out a 12,000 ruver bet. Two time-banks were charged before Mao made the call only to see Lin table A♦ 8♣ for a rivered straight and her A♥ 6♥ was no good.

Punnat Punsri opened to 8,000 under the gun and got called by Eric Tsai, two seats to his left. The flop came 3♥ T♦ 7♦. After a check from Punsri, Tsai fired 14,000. Punsri responded with a raise of 44,000. Tsai three-bet all-in for 230,000. Punsri called putting Tsai's tournament life at risk.

Punsri was ahead with his kings and Tsai could only hope for a miracle to turn things around. However, the turn J♥ and river 7♣ fell with no help at all. Tsai's tournament run ended as Punsri scooped the massive pot towards his direction.

Adalsteinn Karlsson opened to 8,000 from the hijack. YiXiang Zhu jammed the button for around 50,000.

Karlsson used a 30-second time bank before making the call.

Zhu let out a sigh as he saw Karlsson had him beat. Zhu stood at the table to watch the runout.

The pair saw a J♣ 3♣ T♥ flop. The 4♥ turn brought in a straight draw for Zhu, but missed on the T♣ completer.

Yin Liu opened to 8,000 in early position and got called by the big blind Chak Pan Yiu to see a flop. The flop came 7♥ 3♥ 9♣

Both players checked leading them to the turn. Yiu fired 6,000 on the turn 7♠ and Liu called.

Yiu kept the pressure on the 2♠ river with a 11,000 bet. Liu called just to muck after seeing Yiu table T♠ 9♦ for a two-pair on the board.

Wenjie Sun raised to 8,000 from middle position only for Qi Jie to three-bet all in to 36,000 from the small blind. Guang Zheng in the big blind made the call and Sun folded.

He made the call and risked his last 30,000 to defend his big blind.

Players were already on the river and in a 40,000 pot blind vs blind as we joined the action.

Shuang Qiu had checked the small blind and Chaoui Mehdi had bet 28,000 from the big blind.

The board read Q♥ 8♦ 5♥ A♠ A♥ and action was on Qui.

Qui used a 30-second time bank card before making the call.

Mehdi showed Q♠ 9♠, but Qui just pipped the pot after flashing Q♣ J♣ with the Jack kicker.

Mehdi three-bet jammed the next hand, picking up a middle position open and the big blind, to recoup some chips.

Pingfeng Wu opened for 8,500 from early position and Nang Quang Nguyen moved all-in from the cut-off, risking his last 30,000.

Wu made the call.

Wu flopped trips and left Nguyen without much hope, sending him out when the river finally dropped to make it official.

Zhaoyi Lin opened to 8,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Mingcong Chen who defended the big blind.

The 2♠ 7♦ Q♣ flop was checked by Chen and Lin bet 6,500. Chen raised to 20,000 and Lin called.

The 5♠ was turned and Chen bet out 23,000. Lin threw his hand into the muck and passed Chen the pot.

Both players were sitting with just over average stack after the hand.

Jinwoo Kim raised it up to 8,000 from early position and found calls from Bo Jin in the cut-off and Xinchen Huang in the big blind.

The dealer rolled off the flop of T♦ 9♥ 8♠ and it was checked around to see the 4♣ peel off on the turn.

Huang checked and Kim fired off a delayed continuation bet of 22,000. Jin called and Huang got out of the way.

The river brought the Q♣ and Kim bet out for 12,000 now. Jin raised to 40,000 which sent Kim into the tank using two time-banks before folding his hand to give the pot to Jin with no showdown.

Juhyun Lee opened on the button to 8,000 and Kentaro Oe defended the big blind.

The: 7♦ 8♣ 3♦ flop was checked by both to see the J♠ turn.

Oe took around 30-seconds before betting out 7,500 and Lee found a call.

The 3♣ was checked to get to a showdown and Oe flipped over pocket fives 5♥ 5♣, for two pair.

Lee mucked his hand, handing over the pot to Oe.

Jianhui Hong raised to 8,000 and found a call from Xian Li in the small blind.

The flop came 9♦ A♥ 8♥ and Li check-called Hong's 4,000 continuation bet to see the 7♦ fall on the turn.

The action went check-check and the dealer peeled off the J♣ river. Check-check again and Hong tabled K♥ J♠ way behind to Li's two pair with A♣ 7♣ and Li was pushed the pot.

15 Minutes for a breather!

Jiangpu Jin opened to 6,000 in hijack and received an all-in shove from Lei Song for around 70,000. Kaifan Wang, in the big blind, asked the dealer for a count. The dealer responded by saying "You're covered."

This prompted Wang to pull back his blind and count his chips which amounted to around 15,000. At this point the floor was called as a discussion ensued as to whether that action was considered a call or not. some time was spent on the issue until, finally, the head tournament director was called to make a decision.

They decided that the action constituted a call and Wang was asked to put his chips in the middle of the table. Jin folded to give way to the two players to head to an all-in showdown.

Song had Wang dominated. The board ran 2♦ T♥ 7♣ T♣ 5♣ and with no one hitting the board, Wang was eliminated from the tournament. Wang left unimpressed with the decision and Song scooped the pot as the whole table discussed what had just happened.

A four-handed pot of 30,000, Chenglong Liu bet 8,000 on a flop of 8♦ A♠ Q♣. Jiangpu Jin on the button called as well as Lei Song in the big blind. Guosheng Yang, in late position decided to get out of the way.

The trio checked the turn 2♠ and the river 4♥.

Jin decided to show first and tabled J♥ J♦ making the other two players muck their hand.

Niklas Warlich just scooped a pot from Jinwoo Kim after the pair were in the blinds and battled through a: 6♣ Q♥ 4♦ 7♦ T♥ board. Warlich had bet the river and Kim gave up, passing around a 20,000 pot to Warlich.

In the next hand, Warlich opened on the button and Toshiaka Nihei defended the big blind.

Nihei check-called a 4,000 bet by Warlich on the: 8♥ 2♦ 2♥ flop.

The 7♥ was turned and checked to the 6♠ river. Nihei check-folded after facing a 10,000 bet from Warlich.

Warlich ended the hand surpassing 400K in chips, putting him high in the counts.

Action went check-check on the: 5♠ 8♣ 5♣ flop with approx 16,000 sat in the middle.

The 4♣ came on the turn and Congya Zhang bet out for 8,000 from the big blind. Zeyu Chen called from the cut-off and the players saw the J♠ peel off on the river.

Zhang fired off a 10,000 river bet and after tanking for a while, Chen made the call but mucked his cards on seeing Zhang flip over her 6♣ 4♦ for fourth pair.

On the: T♣ 4♦ 3♦ flop, the action was checked and the dealer flipped over the T♦ as the turn card. Zhongmin Xia fired out for 6,000 and was called by Tong Xu.

The river brought the A♠ and now Xia checked to Xu who fired out a 13,000 river bet. Xia snap-called and tabled: 7♥ 7♦ picking off Xu's river bluff holding: K♣ Q♣.

Action folded around to Denis Semerenko, who limped from the small blind. Yilong Wang was her opponent in the big blind and he opted to check.

The pair saw the: A♦ 2♠ 6♠ flop and Semerenko checked.

Wang bet 3,500 and Semerenko raised to 12,000. Wang took around a minute, using a time bank card, before re-raising to 33,500.

Semerenko looked at the board and checked her cards before throwing them into the muck.

Yunpeng Bai opened for 6,000 from the hi-jack. Small blind, Yu Han Su, three-bet to 24,000.

Bai then four-bet to 50,000. Su moved all-in for 154,000 with Bai risking his remaining 93,000.

Su flipped over: A♥ A♣.

Board completed J♥ 6♥ 5♣ 7♦ T♠.

Su's Aces remained intact and uncracked to eliminate Bai out of the Main Event.

Zhu Wei opened for 6,000 from early position. Ushitani Masaki three-bet to 15,000 from the hi-jack. Action folded back to Wei, who decided to move all-in and risked his last 79,000.

Board ranout: Q♠ T♠ J♥ T♦ 5♥.

The flop gave both the same open-ended straight draw, which would've split the pot. However, the poker gods just wanted to make it interesting. Eventually, they threw bricks to give Masaki the win and eliminate Wei.

With over 50,000 in the pot and the board reading: J♣ 2♦ 8♠ 7♣, the action went check-check between Xiaolong Li and Weiping Pang.

The dealer turned over the 9♥ as the river and Li fired out a hefty 40,000 bet. Pang went deep into the tank and tossed in two time-banks. He made the call and tabled: Q♥ Q♦ which had been cruelly rivered by Li's two pair with 9♣ 8♣. Li was shipped the healthy pot.

Yifan Zhang was already all-in and at risk on the button for around 40,000. He was covered by Thanisorn Saelor in the cutoff.

Zhang was looking for help, but not much came on the: 5♠ 2♣ 9♣ flop.

Zhang stood up from the table and grabbed his bag as the dealer turned the 8♥, giving Saelor a set of eights.

There was no recovering for Zhang, and he was eliminated from the tournament as the 7♣ river was placed.

Saran Bayar moved all-in for his last 3,200 and Bo Yang three-bet to 12,000, successfully isolating the showdown to two players.

Bayar didn't improve and he left his seat with a round of "GG" from the other players.

Chenxin Yu opened to 5,000 from middle position and Jishui Hao defended the big blind.

Hao check-called the: K♣ 9♣ J♥ flop after facing a 4,000 bet from Yu.

Both checked the 8♥ turn to see the 6♥ river.

Hao paid Yu 15,000 to see his cards, and Yu showed: 3♠ 3♦.

Hao turned over: A♦ J♠ to take the pot as he stuck around after flopping a pair of Jacks.

Tien Duong raised to 5,000 from under the gun and found calls from Afu Wang in early position and Hang Chen in the big blind.

The dealer fanned out the flop of: 6♥ K♦ A♥. Chen checked and Duong continued for 8,000. Wang called and Chen exited — stage left.

The turn came the J♣ and Duong now fired out for 12,400. Wang went into the tank and was charged a time-bank before raising to 35,000. Duong didn't take long and released his hand, sending Wang the pot.

Saran Bayar matches the 2,400 blind from early position. Ushitani raised to 7,500 from the cut-off. Big blind Yungeng Bai three-bet to 25,000.

The river was a 8♠ and once in a while the poker gods reward where it counts.

On a flop of 8♣ 5♦ 5♥, button Andreas Christodoulou bet 6,000 and got called by small blind Jen Yue Chang. Sheng Jun Liu raised it to 16,000 and Christoloulou called while Chang got out of the way.

The turn A♥, Liu fired 60,000 and after burning a time bank, Christodoulou shoved all-in for 350,000. Liu snap-called, putting his tournament life at risk.

Christodoulou hit top pair on the board but Liu is hoping his flush draw oulw connect. Unfortunately for him, the T♣ fell on the river ending his Main Event Tournament run.

Ming Huang opened to 5,000 on the button and Peng Jiang jammed on the big blind and put his last 37,000 at risk.

On a pot of 18,000, Tianan Liu in the big blind, Dmitrii Urban under the gun and Yuancheng Lin in cutoff were all patiently waiting for the deal.

The dealer fanned out 5♥ 4♣ 3♥ which Liu checked. Urban placed 6,000 in, which Lin called. Liu looked down at his stack and bet 20,000. Urban thought for a second before making the call. Lin looked at Liu, the board then made the call.

The turn fell 3♣. Liu, picked up 25,000, returned it to his stack, counted his chips then decided to bet 25,000. Urban burned a time card then called triggering Lin to throw in a time card as well before making the call.

On the river 9♦, Liu and Urban went check-check. Lin, somewhat surprised at the check down, smiled to himself before tapping the felt.

Urban, quickly flipped over Q♦ Q♥, making Liu frustrated throwing his cards hard face up showing 5♦ 4♦ for a forfeited two-pair. Lin, with a smile mucked his hand.

This seemed to have triggered Liu, who went on a rant in their native language. The whole table erupted in a heated discussion in their native language that prompted Urban to thank the players engaged.

Adalsteinn Karlsson opened to 5,500 from middle position and Jun Liu three-bet to 15,500 from the cutoff. Karlsson called, and the players looked to the flop.

The 6♥ J♦ Q♣ was dealt, and Karlsson check-called a 10,500 bet by Liu.

Liu bet out 39,000 on the 5♣ river after Karlsson checked, which secured him the pot.

Yunpeng Bai opened for 5,100 from the hi-jack and Eimantas Plekavicius three bet to 38,500 on the button. Action folded back to Bai who asked for a count and pushed in the right amount to meet the bet.

Bai put in a stack of 100,000 and Plekavcius risked his last 40,000 with a call.

The turn showed a 9♦ to give Plekavicius a nut-flush draw.

Of course, the poker gods wanted to give good TV and threw in the 8♦ on the river to give Plekavicius a runner-runner winner to scoop a huge pot.

On the 3♦ K♦ T♣ flop and 6,000 sitting in the pot Fabian Gumz checked in the small blind and Jiangang Ding bet out for 2,400. Gumz called and the dealer flipped over the 2♣ as the turn. Action went check-check and the 5♦ came off as the river.

Gumz now led out for 6,500 and Ding snap-called......Gumz snap-mucked!

Anzhela Vasylenko opened to 5,000 from middle position and Yotaka Phutiya defended the big blind.

The flop came: 7♣ 2♣ 10s.

Phutiya check-called after Vasylenko bet out 6,200.

A 9♠ was turned and Phutiya called another 7,500 bet from Vasylenko.

Both checked down the A♦ river to get to a showdown and Phutiya showed: A♣ Q♥, having picked up a pair of aces on the river. Vasylenko mucked her hand, and Phutiya continued to build her stack.

I ran into Gemmy Quach during the break and shared my "condolences" at her bust out at the hands of Punnat Punsri.

Yotaka Phutiya opened to 5,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Longsheng Zhang, who called from the small blind. Xiang Yu defended the big blind and the players looked to the board.

The blinds checked the: 2♦ 6♣ T♦ flop and Phutiya bet 12,000. Zhang gave up his hand but Yu stuck around to see the turn.

Both checked the 9♠ turn to get to the 5♠ river and Yu bet out 6,000. Phutiya raised to 20,000 and Yu called.

Phutiya showed her pocket queens: Q♥ Q♠ resulting in a muck from Yu.

Vladislav Smotrov opened to 4,800 from under the gun and got called by Emi Oike in the hijack.

The flop came: 4♥ A♣ T♣.

Smotrov continued with 5,000 but Oike pushed back with an overbet of 18,000 which made Smotrov look at her for a few seconds before folding his hand.

On a pot of 7,000, Zhouyi Wang in cutoff and big stack, was engaged in a pot with short-stacked Von Tristan Garcia, both waiting for the deal.

The flop finally came: J♣ 2♥ 6♣.

After a check from Garcia, Wang, seemingly poised to make a move, checked after.

On the turn 8♠, a series of tapping followed, which continued on to the river J♦. Needing to show first, Garcia hesitantly flipped over: Q♣ 2♦ for bottom pair which was good enough to win the pot.

Ziwei Wang check-called Christopher Park's bet of 16,000 on a board of: T♥ T♠ T♦ 8♥ with a pot of around 50,000.

After another check from Wang, Park exerted some heavy pressure by betting 40,000, half the pot and half of Wang's stack.

Wang gave Park a quick look before conceding her hand and the pot to Park.

Action folded to the blinds and Chon I Chan raised to 6,000 on the small blind. Iulian Blebea in the big blind, three-bet to 18,000.

The battle of the blinds just went from a brawl to a war.

Chan answered with an all-in shove for 83,600 and Blebea called, risking some 71,000.
