On a pot of around 250,000, Yayun Liu check-called Erik Rozhynskyi's bet of 55,000 on a flop of T♣ K♥ 3♠

The turn 3♥ fell and Liu led with 75,000 to be called by Rozhynskyi to see the last street.

Liu checked the river J♠ triggering Rozhynskyi to bet 135,000.

Liu looked at the clock as there were 49 players left and decided to muck his hand.

Joshua McCully raised to 80,000 from the cut off only to face a three-bet from Erik Rozhynskyi in the big blind to 260,000. McCully let the clock run down and made the call.

The flop came J♥ 5♣ 7♥ and Rozhynskyi continued for 145,000. McCully made the call and the dealer peeled off the 3♥ as the turn.

McCully now decided to lead out for 115,000 and after letting the clock hit one second Rozhynskyi made the call.

The 9♥ came on the river and again Rozhynskyi let the clock hit one second but now knuckled the table as did McCully again after the clock was hitting the zero mark.

McCully's cards went straight into the muck on seeing Rozhynskyi table the K♥ 6♠ for the second nut flush with a complement of "Nice Hand".

On the feature table:

Thanisorn Saelor raised to 60,000 under the gun holding K♣ Q♥ and got called by big blind Hao Zhang with T♠ 8♦ leading them to the flop.

After action was passed to him on the 7♦ T♥ K♥ flop, Saelor, who hit top pair, bet 80,000. Zhang, who caught mid-pair called.

The turn J♦ fell and after another check from Zhang, Saelor kept the pressure with a 160,000 bet. Hao replied with an all-in for 440,000. With 635,000 behind, Saelor took his time to consider his options throwing a time bank in. He ultimately folded surrendering the pot to Zhang.

Shuang Qui opened to 60,000 and was three-bet to 150,000 by Nan Chen. Qui four-bet 350,000 prompting Chen to burn a time card.

Nearing the end of his time, Chen five-bet to 560,000. It was Qui's turn to burn a time bank. On the very last second, Qui five-bet shoved all in for 2,095,000.

Chen tapped the table and folded his hand, conceding the pot to Qui.

Georgios Skarparis bet 80,000 on a flop of J♦ 5♥ 3♣ with a pot of around 300,000 and got called by Roman Hrabec in the big blind.

After collecting the chips, the dealer was about to deal the turn when Tian Yu Wang, who was still in the hand and somehow forgotten because of how quiet and unmoving he was, made a noise to stop the dealer.

The dealer returned the bet and call in place and waited for Wang to do his action. Wang raised to 200,000 which made Skarparis look slightly disappointed as he folded his hand. Hrabec, a bit disappointed, mucked his hand as well.

Chzhen Evegeniie check-called Denghao Chen's bet of 85,000 on a board of Q♣ T♠ T♥ 9♣ with an already massive pot of 350,000.

With so many possibilities with a trippy, boaty, straighty board, both players, visible tense and focused on the board, checked the river Q♠.

Chen, holding A♦ 3♦ leaned back on his chair while Evegeniie with A♠ 9♠ made a small sigh of relief when the dealer started dividing the pot in two for a chop.

Yayun Liu raised to 60,000 from early position and it was folded around to Zhongxian Li in the cut off who three-bet to 180,000. Fabian Gumz sat on the button then four-bet all in for 430,000.

Liu exited the action stage left and Li snap called.

The board ran out safely for Gumz 9♠ 5♠ A♦ 9♥ 8♠ and gave him a full double up and more.

Players are back to the felt after their latest break.

Play will continue for three more levels or until 48 players remain.

The remaining 66 players are on a 15-minute break.

Ting Yu opened to 50,000 under the gun and when action folded to the small blind, Alexander Lyan, he placed forward all his 9 time bank for the dealer to pick from.

A♠ time passed, players started getting on their feet stretching and others started chatting with players on other tables. Big blind TaiMin Tian was initially looking at Lyan trying to get a read, but with more time passing was visibly bemused probably wondering why we are all here and when will this all end.

Finally after the last time card was used, everyone snapped back to reality as Lyan announced all-in. Tian who had lost interest in the hand and folded. Initial raiser Yu, who couldn't stand up or look at his phone because he was in the hand, snap-called.

The board ran 7♠ 9♠ Q♣ K♣ Q♦ Yu, who waited that long, didn't connect with the board leaving the pot to be awarded to Lyan.

Chzhen Evgenii raised to 50,000 from the hijack and found calls from Mingyang Na in the cut off and Meng Peng in the big blind.

The flop rolled off 7♥ 2♦ 2♠ and Peng checked to Evgenii who fired out a continuation bet of 55,000. Na folded and Peng made the call.

The turn brought the 3♣ and again Peng checked it over to Evgenii who now bet out for 95,000. Peng spent no time thinking and quickly raised all in. Evgenii snap-called and flipped over Q♦ Q♥ way ahead of Peng's A♦ 5♥ semi-bluff straight draw.

No help for Peng on the 9♥ brick river and he was sent packing.

Ludong Wang opened to 48,000 and got called by the button Alexander Lyan.

They saw the flop Q♦ 4♥ 8♥. Wang check-called Lyan's bet of 100,000,leading them to the turn.

The turn fell 4♦ and Lyan went all in for around 200,000. Wang snap-called.

Lyan had caught a two-pair on the turn but it couldn't beat Wang's flopped higher two-pair. The T♦ fell on the river with no consequence. Lyan was sent to the rail as Wang scooped the pot.

Georgios Skarparis raised to 50,000 from the cut off and found a call from Yita Choong on the button and Yang Haiyang in the big blind.

The flop came Q♦ 5♦ J♠ and Haiyang checked it to Skarparis who fired out a continuation bet of 85,000. Choong got out of the way and Haiyang made the call.

The turn brought the 2♠ and again Haiyang checked to Skarparis who now ramped it up and bet out for 170,000. Haiyang made the call.

The dealer peeled off the Q♠ for the river and again Haiyang checked it over to Skarparis who went into the tank before betting out for 110,000 now.

Haiyang now went deep into the tank, using two time banks before making the call and tabling 4♦ 2♦.

His hand was streaks behind Skarparis who had Q♣ T♥ with rivered trips and he was shipped the 800,000 pot.

Fabian Schmidt raised from the cut off to 50,000, only to face a three-bet from Ning Sun in the big blind to 224,000.

Schmidt went deep into the tank surrendering three time banks before he announced that he was all in, comfortably covering Sun. Sun thought for a short while before he mucked his cards.

Guy Taylor opened to 40,000 in hijack and got called by the big blind ZhenYi Huang. Both players saw a flop of 4♠ 6♥ 4♥ which they checked.

Having significant chip stacks, both players kept it friendly by checking the turn J♦ and river 7♥.

Huang tabled Q♦ T♣ while Taylor showed Ax Q♣ for ace-high. Taylor added the pot to his stack.

Longsheng Zhang raised to 40,000 from under the gun and found a call from Chzhen Evgenii in the small blind.

The flop came: J♣ Q♥ 4♣ and Evgenii checked it over to Zhang who continued for 45,000. Evgenii check raised all in to 245,000 which sent Zhang deep into the tank. He was charged two time banks before he made the call. Zhang tabled: K♣ J♠ which was behind Evgenii's K♦ Q♣.

No help for Zhang on the 5♣ turn nor the 9♠ river and Evgenii was sent the pot for a double up.

Ziwen Liu had just been moved to Table #7 as the big blind and hasn't even taken his chips our of the tray when he called Chenxin Yu's all-in shove from middle position for 82,000.

Liu went to showdown putting Yu's life at risk as the players were surprised and amused with how eager Liu got into the action.

An audible gasp was heard when Liu tabled his hand and all Yu could do was get on his feet, smile and get ready to leave.

The flop came K♠ Q♦ T♠ giving Liu no sweat at all. He looked at Yu, sheepishly and Yu smiled looking resigned. He waited for the runout K♦ and T♦ to be dealt which gave Liu the higher to two-pair, sealing his fate to be eliminated from the tournament.

With action folded around, small blind Fabian Schmidt announced all-in for 210,000 and Kai Chen in the big blind called, putting Schmidt at risk.

Ping Cai raised to 32,000 from early position, only to face a three-bet all-in from Sishu Peng in the big blind for 156,000. Cai made the call after tanking briefly.

Eimantas Plekavicius raised to 80,000 from the cut off only to face a three-bet all in to 289,000 from Lili Tang in the big blind. Plekavicius snap called and it was he who was at risk.

It's that time again! Players are now on their second 15-minute break of the day.

JiaLu Jiang went all in for 355,000 in the hijack to be called by small blind Roman Hrabec, putting Jiang at risk.

Hrabec immediately hit a pair on the board of: K♦ 3♥ T♠. Another K♠ fell on the turn giving Hrabec trips. And to just rub Jiangs' nose in it, the river 3♦ fell, giving Hrabec a full house. Hrabec tapped the table in front of Jiang before scooping the pot. Jiang tapped back and left the floor.

Lili Tang raised from early position to 32,000 only for Junqiang Lyu to three-bet all in for 276,000 from the button. Tang went into the tank for a short while and made the call.

The flop was nice for Lyu coming Q♥ 7♣ 4♦ to send him soaring into the lead however the 5♠ turn card gave Tang additional outs. No miracles on the 9♦ river for Tang and Lyu was shipped the pot for a full double up.

Denghao Chen opened on the cutoff with a 32,000 bet to be raised by Bei Shi to 80,000. Chen called to see a flop.

The dealer fanned out: 2♠ K♠ 6♦.

Chen check-called Shi's 65,000 bet leading them to the turn.

On the turn 9♠, Chen shoved all in for 930,000, visibly frustrating Shi, who jammed all his time banks in for the dealer to pick from. But after just one time bank, Shi folded, deciding to pick his battles on his own terms.

Bizhen Li raised to 32,000 from middle position and found calls from Jianfeng Sun in the hijack and Abraham Ceesvin in the cutoff.

The flop came Q♣ A♣ J♣ and it checked around for the dealer to roll off the J♠ as the rurn card.

All players checked again and the J♥ came off as the river card. No player wanted to take a stab at the pot and all checked again. Sun tabled K♦ Q♦ way ahead of Li's 9♥ 9♠ and was pushed the pot. Ceesvin insta-mucked on seeing his opponents cards.

Yucheng Wang opened to 32,000 in early position and got called by Denghao Chen on the button.

The flop dropped: K♥ J♦ 5♦ and Wang continued with 50,000. Chen called once again.

With the board paired on the turn J♣, Wang slowed down with a check. Chen took control and fired out 85,000 which made Wang consider his options. With only 280,000 behind, he burned two time banks, needing more time. He finally called to see the last street.

With another check, Chen put in 150,000 which got an immediate fold from Wang on the river 6♦.

Linghui Dai raised to 40,000 from under the gun and got called by Yu Han Su in hijack. Jiajia Tan, in cutoff, went all in for 238,000. Dai folded when action went back to him but Su called putting Tan's tournament life at risk.

Su was ahead and with none of her's over cards hitting the board of 5♥ 9♥ Q♠ 7♣ 6♣, Tan was sent to hit the rails.

With over 200,000 in the pot the board read: Q♠ J♥ 3♦ 4♦ and Ming Huang had checked it over to Poseidon Ho on the button, who bet out for 75,000. Huang went into the tank and made the call.

The river brought the 9♥ and Huang checked again. Ho moved all in for his remaining 125,000. Huang thought for a short while before mucking his cards to send the chunky pot to Ho with no showdown.

Denghao Chen raised to 32,000 from early position and action folded to Xia Li in the big blind who made the call.

The flop came: K♠ 4♦ 3♣.

Li check-called Chen's 25,000 continuation bet to see the 6♠ peel off on the turn.

Li checked again and Chen fired out for 91,000 sending Li into the tank for a while before he released his hand. Chen tabled :Ac K♦ to prove that he wasn't bluffing.

Kim Wah Chiu opened with 30,000 in early position and got a call from Joshua McCully to his left. Ting Yu three-bet to 90,000. With action on her, Emi Oike in the small blind announced all-in for 302,000.

After a count was made, the gentlemen folded their hands one after the other. Chiu couldn't help but comment that Oike won the huge pot without even a flop. Oike smiled in return.

Goudong Jian opened to 24,000 from under the gun and Quiran Huang in hijack, three-bet to 65,000. Jian called.

The flop came: 9♠ 3♥ A♦. Jian check-called Huang's bet of 40,000 to see a turn. The turn fell 2♦ and after another check, Huang fired out 83,000 and took the pot down.

Xingwei Chen completed in the small blind with J♣ 8♣ and, holding T♦ 6♠, Eimantas Plekavicus defended his blind with a 36,000 raise. Chen made the call.

The flop came 7♠ 7♣ A♣. After a check, Plekavicus continued with 24,000 and after a few seconds of consideration, Chen made the call.

The turn K♥ fell which both blinds checked. The dealer peeled the river Q♦, and Plekavicus fired 55,000 when action was passed to him. Chen folded the hand and the pot was awarded to Plekavicus.

Dilijiang A raised to 25,000 from early position and Zhanyu He flat-called from middle position. Action folded to Tharit Nanthana on the button, who three-bet jammed all in for 137,000. A made the call and He folded.

No A for A on the: 2♥ 5♥ T♦ flop. The turn of T was also no help for A♣ and when the 4♦ bricked out on the turn, Nanthana was pushed the pot for a full double and some.

Jianfeng Sun raised to 24,000 and found a call from Martin Sedlak in the big blind.

The flop came: 9♥ J♣ 7♥, and Sedlak checked to Sun, who continued for 20,000, only to run into a check-raise from Sedlak to 75,000. Sun made the call and the turn brought the 3♠.

Sedlak now led out for 115,000 and Sun didn't take too long making the call.

The dealer peeled off the J♠ as the river and Sedlak slowed down and checked it over to Sun. Sun went into the tank for a while before announcing that he was all in. Sedlak insta-mucked and Sun was sent the pot with no showdown.

Action was picked up with Guy Taylor and Ming Dong, at risk, engaged in an all-in showdown.

Dong looked relieved when he caught a pair on a flop of: 2♠ T♣ J♠. The turn 8♦ and 6♦ maintained his lead, securing him a double up.

Taylor had to comment, "You're so lucky..." Not the case! Dong got eliminated a few hands later.

Thanisom Saelor raised to 25,000 from middle position, only for Ming Tsang to three-bet all in to 130,000 from the next seat. Action folded back around to Saelor, who snap-called.

Jia Jiang raised to 24,000 from early position and was called by Daniel Lei in the big blind.

The flop came: T♠ 8♦ A♣ and Lei check-called Jiang's 12,000 continuation bet.

The action went check-check on the 3♦ turn and Q♠ river. Jiang tabled: K♣ T♦ for third pair which was good enough against Lei's 4♣ 4♥.

Guy Taylor opened to 25,000 and was called by Jieming Xu and Bin Zhao in the big blind.

The flop came: T♦ K♣ 4♠, to which all three checked. On the turn K♠, Zhao bet 50,000. Taylor called, Xu folded, leaving the two heads-up.

Xu checked the river 3♦ and Taylor took control of the betting once again with 55,000. Looking at his hand, then the board, Zhao folded.

Play has resumed after the first break of the day.

The players are now on their first 15-minutes break of the day.

With the full board reading: J♥ T♠ 9♣ 6♠ T♣ and over 200,000 sat in the middle,, Tsang Tu had moved all in for 154,000 and Peng Zhou was in the tank.

After being charged two time banks Zhou stuck in the call. Tu tabled: K♦ Q♦ for a flopped straight and was miles ahead of Zhou's: J♦ 7♦ two pair. Tu was shipped the pot for a healthy double through.

Three men were on their feet on Table #5 with their chips and cards in the middle of the table. We were told that Nan Chen opened from under the gun. Leslie Tsui jammed allin in middle position for 375,000 and Maxim Sorokin, in the big blind, re-jammed for 734,000. Chen called putting both players at risk. And it resulted in the following:

Tsui was looking at a potential triple up when he spiked top pair on the flop 6♣ 3♣ Q♠. The runout 9♥ and 5♥ maintained his lead and didn't help Sorokin for the 718,00 side pot. The massive pile of the main pot was pushed towards Tsui direction while Chen claimed the significant side eliminating Day 2 chip leader Sorokin out of the tournament.

Action was picked up with Guy Taylor at risk and Jieming Xu fist bumping after tabling the same hand in an all-in showdown.

Both players expected a split pot and just waited, relieved that the hand would pass with no consequence. They did another fist bump when the board ran: Q♥ A♦ 6♠ 6♥ 7♠, both players getting top two-pair.

The dealer chopped the pot and continued to deal the next hand.

Zhihao Zhang shoved allin for 121,000 under the gun and Adalstein Karlsson, on the button, called. Shirasawa Kazuhiro, in the big blind, replied with another all-in shove for 247,000. Karlsson started counting his chips then made the call, putting both Zhang and Kazuhiro at risk.

There was a queen on the window of the J♠ Q♣ 4♥ flop pushing Kazuhiro in the lead and beating Karlsson's pocket tens. The 9♥ fell on the turn giving Karlsson a chance to turn things around with an open-ender. But the 7♦ dropped on the river eliminating Zhang and awarding the huge pot to Kazuhiro.

Serhii Ten moved all in from under the gun for his last 72,000 and Thanisorn Saelor called from middle position. The rest of the table got out of the way, sharpish.

A fabulous door card for Ten on the: Q♠ 3♠ 9♠ flop and when the turn of 7♥ and river of 3♣ both bricked out, he was pushed the pot for a double up.

Jiajia Tan opened to 23,000 in the cutoff, but due to her hand gesture the floor was called. Tan put in four blue chips worth 20,000, then three chips all behind the line, and Xingwei Chen questioned the move. Floor decided that the bet is 23,000 without much fuss, apart from a warning, and the hand continued.

Chen three-bet to 60,000 and Tan called. The flop came: Q♥ 8♦ 7♣. Tan checked and Chen continued for 35,000 which was enough to claim the pot.

Zuhui Huang raised to 20,000 from under the gun and Tian Wang, in middle position, made the call.

Action folded to Panfei Wang in the small blind who three-bet all in for 118,000. Chuen Yip, in the big blind, made the call and was also all in but only for 74,000. The original raiser, Huang, exited stage left and Tian Wang slammed in the call.

Panfei Wang: 7♣ 7♥

A nice-looking flop came for Yip: 5♣ T♥ 3♥, giving him a set but the 6♣ on the turn brought some danger. When the 2♥ peeled off on the turn, Tian Wang had hit the miracle runner-runner straight to send Yip and Panfei Wang to the rail.

On the featured table, Haiyang Wang, in the cutoff, opened to 16,000 (his hand not shown) and was called by Adelsteinn Karlsson in the small blind holding A♦ T♥ and Jianfen Sun in the big blind with exactly the same hand A♣ T♣.

The flop came: 5♦ 7♦ 3♠.

The trio checked. Karlsson bet 17,000 on the 7♣ turn pushing Sun out of the way. Wang called to see the last street.

The 4♥ fell on the river and Karlsson checked. Yang fired 55,000, forcing Karlsson out of the pot.

Action was picked up with big blind Bo Jin at risk and all in for 136,000. Minh Thang Tran, in early position, got involved in an all-in showdown:

Jin had Tran dominated but was still visibly anxious when the flop came: 5♦ J♣ 7♠. When the turn Q♥ fell, Jin was able to smile, give a sigh of relief knowing that his lead had strengthened with a top pair. The river was a 9♣, securing his double up.

Khoa Anh raised from early position to 16,000 and was called by Xuan Zhao in middle position. Action folded to Miyoung Cho in the big blind who three-bet all in for 118,000. Anh made the call and Zhao folded.

A lovely door card for Cho on the: 6♣ 9♠ 7♥ flop and Cho was drawing dead when the Q♦ came on the turn. The Q♥ filled Cho up on the river, sealed the deal and gave her a full double up and then some.

Renyi Wang shoved all-in for 68,000 on the button and got called by small blind Napat Chokejindachai putting him at risk.

Wang was surprised to find out what he ran into but graciously smiled as he watched the deal. Chokejindachai held on the board Q♣ 2♦ T♠ J♥ Q♠ eng Wang's tournament life in the process.

Ning Sun opened to 18,000 under the gun and got called by Warren Rustad in the big blind to see a flop.

The flop came Q♦ 3♣ 7♦. Rustad check-raised Sun's bet of 12,000 to 25,000. Sun decided to see the next card with a call.

On the turn 9♥, Rustad fired 70,000 sending Sun to the tank. Sun burned a time bank and stared at Rustad and checked his stack. After a few seconds, he folded his hand.

Kai Chen said something to him in their native language and he replied by flipping over his hole cards, which the dealer had not yet collected to show J♦ J♠

Hao Zhang raised to 16,000 from under the gun only to face a three-bet to 45,000 from Xinchen Huang in middle position. Zhang made the call.

The dealer peeled off the flop of 7♠ 4♥ 6♥ and Zhang checked it to Huang who bet out for 36,000. Zhang countered with a raise to 85,000 which sent Huang deep into the tank. After being charged two time banks Huang moved all in and Zhang snap called.

Huang was in trouble and had two outs. The T♥ on the turn didn't help and nor did the 4♦ brick on the river and Huang was sent to the rail.

Anqi Luo, from under the gun, made it 16,000 to play, only to face a three-bet to 40,000 from Xu Zhang in the hijack.

Luo made the call and the dealer flipped over the flop of 7♦ 2♥ 8♠. Luo check-called Zhang's 20,000 continuation bet and the players saw the 5♦ peel off as the turn card.

The action went check-check and the dealer rolled off the 8♦ for the river. Luo now bet out for 55,000 sending Zhang into the tank for a short while before he released his hand, gifting Luo the pot without a showdown.

Zhizao Zhang raised to 16,000 only to face a three-bet from Martin Sedlak to 52,000. Zhang countered with a four-bet to 130,000 and Sedlak five-bet all in for 450,000. Zhang thought for a while and made the called.

Poseidon Ho raised to 21,000 from under the gun leaving himself just 1,000 behind. Action folded to Emi Oike in the big blind who made the call.

The flop came 4♥ 8♥ T♥ and Oike bet out to put Ho all in who made the call tabling J♦ T♦ which was way ahead to Oike's 5♦ 5♥.

No five on the 6♥ turn nor Q♥ river and Ho was sent the pot for a full double up.

Day 3 of the KRW 2.6M (~USD 1,860) 2025 APT Jeju Main Event kicks off today at 11:15 AM at Les A Casino, Jeju Shinhwa World, South Korea.

Registration closed at the end of Level 11 yesterday with a total of 1,693 entries (905 unique). This marks the largest international tournament and richest APT Main Event ever held in Korea, generating a prize pool of KRW 3,761,155,200 (~USD 2,686,540). It also stands as the third-richest APT Main Event in history.

Day 2 saw 195 new entries join 516 returning players, all chasing a seat for today. By the end of play, only 247 advanced, each guaranteed KRW 4,020,000 (~USD 2,870).

For pro Kitty Kuo, the run ended in heartbreak as she was eliminated on the bubble. On the flip side, Adalsteinn Karlsson became the first player to qualify for Day 3 OnLive via Natural8. He also bagged 501,000 chips live in Day 2, giving him another shot to go deep.

Leading into Day 2 was Taiwan’s Yu Hsiang Huang with 869,000, followed closely by China’s Jieming Xu (867,000) and Cyprus’ Andreas Christodoulou (812,000).

With OnLive Natural8 Day 3 qualifiers joining today, the overall chip leader is Jianfeng Sun, who brings 1,013,000 to the felt.

Despite his lead, former APT champions remain in the hunt for another Main Event title. Among them are OnLive qualifier and 2024 APT Phu Quoc Main Event champion Jinlong Hu (731,000), 2024 APT Taipei Poker Classic Main Event champion Rene Von Reden (573,000), and 2023 APT Taipei Main Event champion Punnat Punsri (186,000).

Adding more firepower to the field are two-time APT Main Event finalist Abraham Ceesvin (595,000), APT Taipei Poker Classic High Roller champion Martin Sedlak (450,000), 2023 APT Incheon High Roller champion Thanisorn Saelor (350,000), APT Super High Roller champion Mingcong Chen (244,000), along with Natural8 Ambassadors Yu-Chung “Nevan” Chang (94,000) and Hui Wei Lin (63,000).

Players will battle through ten 60-minute levels, or until only 48 remain.

Day 3 promises fireworks as the field fights for a spot in Day 4 and a piece of the largest prize pool in APT Main Event history in Korea.
