With over 25,000 in the pot and the board reading 3♣ 6♠ 7♦ 6♣ 7♠ Andreas Christodoulou had bet out enough to put Anton Lu all in.
Lu was int he tank and used three times-banks before making the call and tabling A♠ K♥ hoping for a chop but was way behind Christodoulou and his T♥ 7♣ with a rivered full house and Lu was sent packing.

Action checked to Zhang, who put a min-bet of 4,000.

Again Rolli checked it over to Ling who fired out for 15,000 now. Rolli made the call and the dealer flipped over the 3♠ for the river. The action went check-check and Ling tabled Q♦ Q♥ streaks ahead of Rolli's 5♦ 6♦ for a missed flush draw.

Anton Lu opened in the early position to 3,000 and Hajime Watanabe called from the cutoff. Andreas Christodoulou defended the small blind, taking the players three-ways to the flop.
The: 3♠ 4♦ 5♥ flop saw action checked to Watanabe, who bet 5,900. Christodoulou check-raised to 16,000. Lu folded and Watanabe called.
A 5♦ was turned and Christodoulou checked. Watanabe bet 16,000 and Christodoulou raised to around 40,000.

A total of 1,265 hopefuls took the felt on four opening Day 1 flights with a total of 516 survivors booking a Day 2 seat to earn their share from the KRW 2.2 billion (~USD 1.5 million) guaranteed prize pool.
Registration remains open until the end of level 11, which is the starting level for today's competition. Specifically, late registration ends at 12 noon local time (KST). By then, the final attendance will have been closed and the total prize pool and payouts will be revealed.
A♠ it stands, however, this APT Jeju Main Event has already made history in the APT books as holding the record for the largest attendance of an **APT Main Event ** held in Korean soil. The numbers have yet to verify if this event will also be the largest of ANY Main Event ever held in Korea by any poker tour or organization.
Day 2 will play one hour-long levels until the end of level 18, approximately eight hours of poker action not including the break-time. By day's end the remaining survivors who will return to Day 3 will be joined by 234 on-live qualifiers, who are guaranteed a min cash following their success through the Natural8 and GGPoker online poker apps.

But before jumping into Day 3, we first have to get through today's action. Entering Day 2, sitting at the chip leader throne is Russia's Maxim Sorokin with 369,300 chips that were bagged after he topped Flight A.
Sorokin cashed twice during APT Incheon 2025 last month, but his most significant accomplishment was a 2015 Wynn Classic victory, in the USD 2,000 NLH event, where he pocketed a career best USD 101,619.
Not too far away is second-ranked William Teoh of Malaysia, who earned his 345,500 stack during Flight B where he was the end-of-day chip leader. Teoh is a three-time APT winner and a four-time APT runner-up, which just goes to show his endurance for poker.
Completing the top three is Chao Ting Cheng of the United States via Taiwan with a bag of 332,100 chips amassed during Flight D. Cheng is a two-time APT winner and a three-time WPT champion.
Chinese players **Zu You Wang **(328,900) and **XIang Yu Yu **(325,700) along with **Andreas Christodoulou **(302,000) of Cyprus make the next three and are the only other ones with chips past the 300K mark.
Here are the top ten chip counts:
Player | Chips |
---|---|
MS Maxim Sorokin | 369,300 |
WT William Teoh | 345,500 |
CT Chao Ting Cheng | 332,100 |

TW Tianyu Wang | 276,700 |

Other notables still in the chase for the APT Main Event title include two-tme APT winner Tom Verbruggen (237,100) of the Netherlands, Hong Kong's four-time APT winner **Kevin Choi **(228,500), Australia's APT Incheon 2025 High Roller winner Dylan Foster (179,200), WSOP bracelet winner and APT title holder Martin Finger (172,000) of Germany, WSOP bracelet winner Georgios Skarparis (171,000) of Cyprus, WSOP bracelet holder and Peng Zhou (161,400) of China, three-time WSOP bracelet winner and former APT Main Event champion Xixiang Luo (148,400) of China, three-time APT winner Abraham Ceesvin(142,000) of Singapore, Two-time APT winner John Matsuda (127,200) of the Philippines, four-time APT winner, five-time Triton title holder and former APT Main Event winner Punnat Punsri of Thailand (121,500), WSOP bracelet winner and three-time APT champion Joseph Cheong (110,600) of the United States and three-time WSOP bracelet winner and former WPT Main Event champion Michael Wang (109,000) of the United States.
Some notable players that need to spin their stacks include four-time APT winner David Erquiaga(70,500) of the Philippines, WSOP bracelet winner and one-time APT title holder Arthur Conan of France, Natural8 Ambassador and former APT Main Event champion Kitty Kuo (33,500), two-time WPT winner and APT title holder Anton Lu (60,200) and WSOP bracelet holder and two-time APT Main Event champion Mike Takayama (32,700) of the Philippines among many others.
The hunt is on for the life-changing lion's share of the yet-to-be-determind total prize pool, but what is certain so far is that the champion will walk away with the coveted 24-K gold APT lion trophy and a seat valued at KRW 14M (USD 10,000) to the APT Championship Main Event to be held in Taipei later this year.
