PokerStars LIVE announces inaugural Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Cambodia, running November 3-13, 2022.
For the first time in the tour’s fifteen year history the APPT is heading to the Cambodian capital -Phnom Penh-, with the multi-award winning, world class integrated resort of NagaWorld playing host to the 10-day tournament series.

As one of those responsible for arranging PokerStars LIVE’s first foray into Cambodia, CMG Director and former PokerStars Team Pro Bryan Huang stated:

While the full schedule has yet to be announced, the inaugural APPT Cambodia 2022 boasts $550,000 in tournament guarantees, with highlights including:
- APPT Naga World Kick-off: Nov 3-5, 2022 – $300 buy-in – $50,000 Guarantee
- APPT National: Nov 6-8 2022 – $800 buy-in – $100,000 Guarantee
- APPT Cambodia Super High Roller: Nov 9-10, 2022 – $10,000 buy-in
- APPT Cambodia Main Event: Nov 10-13, 2022 – $1,500 buy-in – $400,000 Guarantee
- APPT High Roller: Nov 12-13 2022 – $5,000 buy-in
- APPT Cambodia Players Party: Nov 12 at 9:30pm local time (GMT+8) – held at the Arena Sports Bar
How to participate in the event
- Bring a valid photo ID, such as a valid passport.
- Sign up for NagaWorld Rewards membership at Hotel Lobby or within the event venue. To save time, we recommend that you pre-register and collect your membership card upon arrival at the event venue. Click HERE to pre-register for NagaWorld Rewards membership.
- Register for events at the Registration Counter within the event venue.
There is no tax on tournament winnings!
Notes:
- Face masks must be worn upon entry and within the NagaWorld property, including the poker area. Masks are available at entrances and on request.
- All staff are fully vaccinated.
- Smoking is not allowed within the event ballroom. However, there are designated smoking areas at the ballroom foyer.

Travel Guidelines
Cambodia is once again happy to welcome international visitors, with fully-vaccinated travellers allowed to enter without any testing requirements. However, non-vaccinated or partially-vaccinated travellers must adhere to regulations stated HERE.
• Tourist Visas on arrival are available and valid for up to 30 days. They are free for nationals of ASEAN countries, and cost around $30 for other nationalities. We recommend bringing cash as well as a printed passport photo if possible.

By Air
The nearest airport is Phnom Penh International Airport, which is roughly 13km from Nagaworld Integrated Resort.
Getting to NagaWorld from Airport
There are metered taxis available at the airport, but beware of drivers who will quote you a fixed price instead.
Ride-hailing apps such as Grab, LM Car or Passapp allow for convenient and transparent arranging of transport to your accommodation. With map inputs of exact location, it reduces misunderstandings especially as a result of language barriers. Payment can be made in cash or by charging to your bank card, but you will have to set this up beforehand. Please note that you may have to exit the airport to be picked up at the nearby main road.
You can also arrange airport transfers to and from NagaWorld via the Concierge team.
Getting Connected
Prepaid SIM cards are readily available at the Arrivals area of the airport, with the two main Cambodian mobile network operators being Cellcard and Smart. Data packages are very affordable and start from just $1 per week. 4G/LTE is available with all providers.
