Poker Dream 10 Vietnam concluded the first day of its seven day series at New World Hoiana Resort in Hoi An, Vietnam. The largest turnout was by the South Koreans that included some of the country’s leading players such as Gab Yong Kim who bagged the third largest stack at the Vietnam Open. When the last of the cards flipped, Poker Dream Player of the Year You Jun Hong from Malaysia topped the Day 1 survivors list.

The festival opener, the Vietnam Open, drew a total of 213 entries for a prize pool of VN₫ 2,196,468,000 (~USD 86,600). The flights bagged up at ITM for a total of 32 players returning for Day 2. Each one is guaranteed a minimum payout of VN₫ 19,300,000 (~USD 761) while awaiting the champion is a score of VN₫ 462,000,000 (~USD 18,218).
