Thanisorn Saelor: Rising Star in Thailand's Poker Scene

Nearly topping Thailand’s All-Time Money List in seventh place is poker player Thanisorn Saelor, with total live earnings of USD 541,891 over a mere six-year career. Saelor put himself on the poker map with his first significant victory at EPT Prague in 2019, where he placed fifth in the € 2,200 No-Limit Hold’em Event #29, cashing € 47,300 (USD 52,765).

2023 was a huge year for Saelor, who cashed two six-figure victories. First, Saelor placed third at APT Incheon’s Superstar Challenge, cashing KRW 201,800,000 (USD 154,420), then first in the APT High Roller at the same tournament, bagging a massive KRW 171,939,500 (USD 130,520).

Saelor concluded the 2023 season on a high with a first-place victory in the Single Day High Roller 8 Max at APT Hanoi Billions, cashing VND 2,325,680,000 (USD 95,802). So far, Saelor has enjoyed a successful 2024 season, cashing a total of KRW 36,890,000 (USD 26,813).
