Santhosh Suvarna, an accomplished poker player from India residing in Bangalore, has achieved remarkable success on the felt with a total live earnings of $3,775,493. He is currently ranked 2nd in India’s All-Time Money List. His best live cash was an impressive $700,000 for his victory at the 2023 Triton Cyprus GG Super Million$ Live.
Suvarna debuted his live presence in India in 2017 however only produced small cashes. It wasn’t until five years later did he bring home a significant payout of $245,000 for 8th place at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Cyprus $75,000 No Limit Hold ’em 8-Handed event (Event #5).
One month later, on October 23, 2022, Suvarna participated in the European Poker Tour (EPT) London events in England, securing 2nd place at the Platinum Pass Mystery Bounty event (Event #30), winning £96,700 ($109,380). He also secured the 10th place in the EPT London High Roller (Event #40), earning £35,750 ($41,312).
In March 2023, Suvarna returned to Triton Poker Super High Roller Series, this time in Vietnam in Hoi An, finishing 4th at the $75,000 No Limit Hold ’em 8-Handed event (Event #7), winning a substantial prize of $628,000.
Success at Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Cyprus
Two months later, he was back at Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Cyprus where he championed the No Limit Hold ’em GG Super Million$ Live (Event #1) for a significant prize of $700,000. He also secured 4th place in the No Limit Hold ’em 8-Handed tournament (Event #5) in the same tour, winning $457,500; the 8th place in the No-Limit Hold ’em Turbo event (Event #7), winning a prize of $77,800; and 12th place in the $75,000 No Limit Hold ’em 8-Handed event (Event #8), winning $131,000. He ended the tour with an impressive 2nd place in the No-Limit Hold ’em Turbo event (Event #12), winning $376,000.
During the third quarter of the year, Suvarna participated in another Triton Poker Super High Roller Series London event, securing 12th place in the No Limit Hold ’em 7-Handed tournament (Event #6), winning $112,300. In the same tour, he placed 20th in the No Limit Hold ’em Luxon Invitational, earning a prize of $371,000 within the same tour; 25th in the No Limit Hold ’em Main Event (Event #11), winning $189,000; 10th place in the No-Limit Hold ’em Turbo event (Event #12), winning a prize of $91,500.
Suvarna is a remarkable poker player with all his Triton Super High Roller achievements, we expect to see more Suvarna in upcoming high-stakes poker events.
