Dutchman Koen Breed is among the Netherlands’ most celebrated poker champions, and with USD 307,286 in total live earnings, it’s not hard to see why. Breed began as a regular in Macau tournaments, participating in the Macau Millions and APPT Macau Poker Cup, earning his maiden top title and largest cashout in 2017 at the PokerStars Championship Macau. He blazed through the PokerStars National Championship #4 event, winning HKD 888,080 (USD 114,313).

One of the pivotal moments in Koen breed’s career was his first trip to Las Vegas, where he cashed in numerous WSOP events including the Main Event Championship for USD 31,170. Since then, he has become a regular participant, even during the pandemic, also taking part in online events.

He enjoyed five-digit wins in the Freezeout 8-Handed event in WSOP 2022 (winning USD 12,703) and the WSOP Main Event in the 2023 tournament (winning USD 17,500).

Breed has also toured Asian grounds with deep runs in APPT Cambodia in 2022, and APT Incheon in 2023. At the WPT Cambodia Championship 2024, Breed reached the final table in 7th place for USD 10,543.
