Profile

Jhon Hendri is proving to be Indonesia’s next generation poker star. In just over a year, he has already broken into the top 5 of the Indonesia All Time Money list with 2 titles in live tournament play. Since his first appearance at the World Poker Championships Hanoi in March 2023, he has already amassed $222,015 in career earnings. Impressive for a maiden year.

At only his second event at the WPC III Hanoi, Jhon Hendri took the Superstack Turbo Event to register his first win. Less than a month later, the Indonesian clinched another, much bigger title, bagging the Main Event of the Danang Series OF Poker and shipping an early career best live cash of $ 44,770. From then on, the rest of the year saw consistent performances from Jhon Hendri. Hendri made deep runs at the World Poker Tour Prime Vietnam and Asian Poker Tour Summer Series Hanoi banking nearly $40,000 more in prize money. He ended the year with a bang at the Asian Poker Tour Hanoi Billions, placing 3rd at the Single Day High Roller Mystery Bounty Event, collecting $29,086. It was the APT’s largest-ever single day high roller. 2024 started well for Jhon Hendri’s with another deep run at the World Poker Tour Cambodia Championship Super High Roller Event. It looks like the Indonesian is going all in on his sophomore year as poker professional.
