WPT World Championship 2026

The World Poker Tour (WPT) returns to Wynn Las Vegas this December for its annual WPT World Championship 2026 , with a $1 million value added to the $10,400 World Championship, giving players more to compete for when the festival’s marquee event gets underway.

The festival runs from November 27 through December 21, with the World Championship scheduled to begin on December 13 and continue through December 20, when the champion will be crowned.

Alongside the World Championship, the schedule features several major events, including the WPT Prime Championship, Super Gold Million, Ladies NLH Championship, Seniors NLH Championship, and a selection of NLH and PLO tournaments with million-dollar guarantees.

$1 Million Value Added to the World Championship

The $10,400 WPT World Championship begins December 13 and runs through December 20. The tournament comes with $1 million in value added, giving the event an extra boost beyond the prize pool created through player entries.

Players will have a full week to work their way through the field before the final stages determine this year’s champion. The tournament will serve as the centerpiece of the festival, with the final table taking place on December 20.

WPT World Championship Full Schedule

WPT Prime Championship Brings $5 Million Guarantee

The World Championship is not the only major tournament on the schedule.

The WPT Prime Championship features a $1,100 buy-in and a $5 million guarantee, offering a major tournament option at a considerably lower entry point than the $10,400 World Championship.

The Super Gold Million goes even lower, with a $400 buy-in and a $3 million guarantee. The large-field event gives players another chance to compete for a substantial prize pool during the festival.

Both events are expected to be major parts of the schedule as players look beyond the World Championship for opportunities throughout the series.

Ladies, Seniors and Million-Dollar Guarantees

The festival also includes dedicated championship events for the Ladies and Seniors, alongside a wide range of No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments.

Several of those events come with guarantees of up to $2 million, adding more seven-figure prize pools to a schedule that already features the $5 million WPT Prime Championship and $3 million Super Gold Million.

With different buy-ins and formats spread across the festival, players can build their schedules around the World Championship or focus on the many other tournaments running throughout December.
