WPT® Cambodia Offers $55 Rooms, VIP Access and Free High Roller Stays

Every poker player weighs up more than just the tournament schedule when deciding which festival to attend. Accommodation, tournament fees, food, travel costs, and overall value all play a part, and that’s where WPT® Cambodia: Passport to the World Championship has put together one of the strongest packages on the Asian poker circuit.
Running at NagaWorld from August 12 to 24, 2026, the festival combines 70 trophy events with discounted hotel rooms, festival-long VIP Lounge access, complimentary High Roller accommodation, affordable dining, and tax-free tournament winnings.
Our previous article covered the tournament schedule, guaranteed events, Championship structure, and routes into the WPT World Championship. This time, we’re looking beyond the poker itself and exploring the benefits that make a trip to Phnom Penh one of the best-value festival experiences in Asia.
NagaWorld Hotel Rooms from Just $55 Per Night

Accommodation is often one of the largest expenses attached to a poker trip, especially when the festival runs for almost two weeks. WPT Cambodia players can avoid the usual premium charged for staying at the host venue, with special room rates starting from only $55 per night.
The entry-level offer covers a Naga 2 Superior Room, while Naga 1 Deluxe Rooms are available from $105 per night. Packages are offered across a range of stay lengths, giving players the flexibility to visit for a few selected events or settle in for the complete 13-day festival.
The value is not limited to the price of the room. Staying at NagaWorld places players within walking distance of the tournament ballroom, cash games, restaurants, entertainment facilities, and their accommodation. There is no need to arrange transport through Phnom Penh each morning or calculate how much time is needed to return before the next event begins.
For anyone facing long tournament days, the ability to reach their room within minutes can be just as useful as the discounted rate itself.

Festival-Long VIP Lounge Access from One Entry

Play just one tournament with a buy-in of $1,650 or higher and you’ll receive access to the WPT Cambodia VIP Lounge for the remainder of the festival.
Scheduled to operate during most of the series, the lounge will provide a comfortable space away from the tournament floor together with a daily selection of food and refreshments. Players can take a proper break between levels, meet friends away from the tables, or grab something to eat without leaving the venue.
The benefit becomes increasingly valuable during a longer trip. Restaurant meals, snacks, and drinks can quietly become a significant part of a festival budget, but one qualifying tournament entry unlocks lounge access for the remainder of the series.
That means a single $1,650-plus event can continue delivering value for days after the tournament has finished, making the VIP Lounge one of the most accessible player benefits on offer at WPT Cambodia.
Up to 16 Free Nights for High Roller Players
The High Roller Room Promotion gives players the chance to earn up to 16 complimentary nights at Naga 1, with daily breakfast included.
Players qualify by entering selected High Roller events during the festival, and re-entries count towards the total. The promotion begins with five complimentary nights after five qualifying entries, with additional nights added as players continue through the High Roller schedule.

Eligible tournaments include the Deepstack High Roller, 6-Max High Roller, PLO High Roller, Super High Roller Warm-Up, Survivor 4K Bounty High Roller, Hyper Turbo High Roller, Single Day High Roller Challenge, $5,000 Super High Roller, Mystery Bounty High Roller, High Roller Hyper Turbo, $100,000 guaranteed High Roller, and Championship Turbo.
The free accommodation becomes even more appealing when paired with one of the most player-friendly High Roller fee structures in Asia.
The $5,000 Super High Roller, for example, carries a 6% administration fee and 3% staff fee. Some comparable events on other tours charge a 10% administration fee together with an additional 4% staff fee.
That difference matters. Lower fees simply mean more of a player’s bankroll remains available for tournament entries rather than administration costs. Across multiple High Roller events, those savings can quickly add up.
Few poker festivals combine complimentary accommodation with such a player-friendly High Roller fee structure, making WPT Cambodia one of the best value destinations for High Roller players in Asia.

Restaurant Choices from $5 Meals to Fine Dining and Entertainment
A major festival can mean spending most of the day inside the venue, which makes the quality and variety of nearby food especially important. NagaWorld gives players plenty of choice without requiring them to leave the complex.
The food court at Naga 2 offers meals starting from around $5, providing a practical option for anyone looking for something quick and affordable before an event or during a dinner break.
Players looking for a more substantial meal can choose from Japanese, French, Italian, Chinese, and other Asian restaurants located on the floor directly below the festival ballroom. The selection makes it easy to switch between inexpensive everyday meals and a more relaxed restaurant experience during days away from the tables.

Selected restaurants also offer tableside ordering inside the tournament area. Players can enjoy freshly prepared food without rushing through a break, leaving the building, or missing more hands than necessary.
That combination of affordability, variety, and convenience makes dining one less part of the trip that players need to plan around.
Beyond the tournament and dining tables, WPT Cambodia players can experience the entertainment and lifestyle offerings available within NagaWorld. On August 22, 2026, internationally recognised comedian Dr Jason Leong will perform his stand-up comedy show In Laughing Memory at NABA Theatre, NagaWorld2, from 7pm to 10pm. The evening performance provides the perfect opportunity to take a break from the tournament schedule and enjoy live entertainment in the heart of Phnom Penh. Tickets are priced from $30 and are available via the Jelly Jelly app.
High Roller, Marathon, and Special Hotel Offers
Players can choose between three dedicated accommodation programs depending on the tournaments they intend to play.
The High Roller Free Nights Program is designed for players entering the largest buy-in events and offers up to 16 complimentary nights at Naga 1.

The Marathon Program is aimed at players building their trip around the festival’s key events. The six qualifying tournaments are:
- Event #1 – NagaWorld Superstack ($350)
- Event #11 – Championship Warm-Up ($550)
- Event #15 – 8-Max Survivor 1.25K Bounty ($660)
- Event #26 – Mystery Bounty ($880)
- Event #39 – Championship ($1,300)
- Event #50 – Mini Championship ($550)
For players already planning to compete across the main guaranteed tournaments, the Marathon Program provides another opportunity to convert their tournament schedule into accommodation value.

Players who are not entering enough qualifying events for either program can still book the standard WPT Special Hotel Rates, starting from $55 per night at Naga 2.
This ensures that discounted accommodation is available across the field, whether a player is visiting for one weekend, following the major guaranteed events, or planning a complete High Roller schedule.

No Tax on Tournament Winnings

Another major advantage of playing in Cambodia is that tournament winnings are not subject to local withholding tax.
Players receive the full amount of their prizes instead of seeing a percentage removed before the payout reaches them. For anyone competing in the larger buy-in events or making a deep run in the Championship, that can make a meaningful difference to the final result.
When combined with discounted hotel rooms, free High Roller accommodation, and competitive tournament fees, tax-free winnings strengthen the overall value of the festival even further.
The savings are not limited to one part of the trip. Players can protect more of their bankroll before entering an event and keep more of their winnings when they cash.
Apply for a Cambodia eVisa Online
International visitors who require a visa can apply before travelling through Cambodia’s official eVisa website.
The online system allows eligible players to complete the process without visiting a Cambodian embassy or consulate, making it easier to organise the trip alongside flights, accommodation, and tournament plans.
Applications can be submitted through the official government portal below:

Entry requirements can vary depending on nationality, so players should confirm the latest conditions for their passport before departure.
Visa-Free Entry for Chinese Travellers
Valid passport holders from mainland China , Hong Kong , and Macau can enter Cambodia without a visa during the WPT Cambodia festival.
Cambodia’s pilot visa exemption scheme runs from June 15 to October 15, 2026, fully covering the August festival dates. Eligible travellers can remain in Cambodia visa-free for up to 14 days.
The exemption applies whether visitors travel directly from China or arrive in Cambodia from another country. Taiwan passport holders are not included in the pilot scheme.
For players travelling from mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macau, the timing makes attending WPT Cambodia much easier. The exemption removes the cost and preparation attached to a visa application and makes a late decision to travel to Phnom Penh far more realistic.
Read the full visa exemption announcement here.
Between $55 hotel rooms, festival-long VIP Lounge access, up to 16 free High Roller nights, tableside dining, tax-free winnings, and simplified entry into Cambodia, WPT Cambodia offers value well beyond its tournament schedule.
Players can arrive knowing that many of the largest costs attached to a poker trip have already been reduced. Whether they are visiting for one guaranteed event or remaining at NagaWorld for the complete festival, the overall package makes Phnom Penh one of the most attractive destinations on the Asian poker calendar this August.
