The WPT Cambodia 2026 festival at the world-class NagaWorld in Phnom Penh, Cambodia reached a fever pitch on Day 3. With several major events crossing the finish line and the first massive guarantee of the series narrowing its field, the atmosphere inside the poker room was electric.

Below is the recap of the Day 3 highlights, including the crowning of two champions and the surge of qualifiers from the Championship Warm Up.

Championship Warm Up: Ridhav Chawla Leads 42 Survivors from Day 1B

After 15 levels and nearly 11 hours of play, the second starting flight of the Event #4: Championship Warm Up concluded with a massive turnout. From a field of 230 entries, only 42 players survived the day to secure their seats for the final day.

At the top of the leaderboard is India’s Ridhav Chawla , who bagged a commanding 584,000 (98 big blinds). Chawla steadily built his stack throughout the day, making his biggest moves during the final three levels. He is followed closely by fellow countryman Deepak Shekar Shetty with 510,000 and Taiwan’s Wei Yan, who finished with 492,000 after a roller-coaster session that saw him peak at nearly 700,000.

Pot-Limit Omaha action continued with Event #8: 4/5/6 PLO 7-Handed. The specialized format, which challenges players with rotating card counts, drew a competitive field of 70 entries.

In the end, it was USA’s Hooman Nikzad who navigated the complex final table to emerge victorious. Nikzad outlasted the field to secure the trophy and a USD 5,077 top prize. He defeated Norbertas Popa in heads-up play, with Popa taking home USD 3,161 for second place, while the UK’s Emily Hawksworth rounded out the top three.

Usha Perumal Leads Indian Podium Sweep in Hyper Turbo

The fast-paced Event #9: Hyper Turbo 15 Sec saw 35 entries compete for a share of the USD 7,392 prize pool. It was a dominant showing for the Indian contingent, who claimed all three of the top spots.

Usha Perumal outlasted the field to take the title and USD 2,662, defeating fellow countryman Chakshu Deep Raina (USD 1,700) in heads-up play. Arun Kishore Godiyal rounded out the podium in third place.
