The second Sunday at WPT Australia 2026 saw the WPT Prime Championship complete its four starting flights, while two more boomerang trophies found new owners at The Star Sydney .

The final Prime flight proved to be the biggest of the lot, taking the field to 1,036 entries, with Cooper Feltham emerging as the overall chip leader ahead of Day 2.

Elsewhere, Amin Riyazati claimed the Bondi Icebergs Freezeout, while Salvatore Fazzino came out on top in the Single Shot Deep Freeze.

Cooper Feltham Leads 141 Into WPT Prime Championship Day 2

The fourth and final starting flight of the WPT Prime Championship attracted 329 entries, making Day 1d the largest flight of the tournament.

That took the overall field to 1,036 entries, pushing the prize pool well into seven-figure territory ahead of the official payout announcement.

A total of 44 players survived the final flight, bringing the Day 2 field to 141 players. Feltham enjoyed the best finish of anyone across the four opening flights, bagging 1,153,000 to take the overall lead into Monday.

Stan Levitin finished second in Day 1d with 727,000 and will begin Day 2 third overall.

Sasha Skalrud, who led after Day 1c, sits between the pair with 985,000, while Travis O’Grady, Ehsan Amiri and Kenta Ito are among the other players returning with healthy stacks.

With 141 players remaining, navigating the money bubble will be one of the first tasks when play resumes. Blinds restart at 5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 big blind ante, while levels increase to 60 minutes for the remainder of the tournament.

The official prize pool and payout structure are expected to be announced shortly after cards get in the air, along with the schedule for the day’s play.

Amin Riyazati Wins Bondi Icebergs Freezeout

Riyazati added a WPT Australia 2026 boomerang trophy to his collection after taking down the AUD 460 Bondi Icebergs Freezeout .

The one-day event drew 76 entries, generating a AUD 30,400 prize pool, with 11 players reaching the money.

Riyazati defeated Yuho Ando heads-up to collect the AUD 8,963 top prize, with Ando taking home AUD 5,975 as runner-up. Martin Baer completed the podium for AUD 4,051.

It was another great result for Riyazati, who also finished runner-up in the Aussie Monster Stack earlier in the festival.

Salvatore Fazzino Takes Down Single Shot Deep Freeze

Fazzino was the other player to get his hands on a boomerang trophy on Sunday, winning the AUD 680 Single Shot Deep Freeze .

The one-day event attracted 122 entries and generated a AUD 73,200 prize pool, with 18 players making the money.

Fazzino defeated Mishel Anunu heads-up to claim the trophy and AUD 18,402 first prize. Anunu collected AUD 12,270 for second, while Han-Chin Lee took third place for AUD 8,575. Kristian Walkowsky and Chengyi Li rounded out the top five.

What’s Happening at WPT Australia Today?

Monday, September 21, centers on Day 2 of the WPT Prime Championship, with the remaining 141 players returning at 12:30 p.m. as the money bubble approaches.

The day begins at 10:30 a.m. with Event #19, the AUD 500 Deadset Legend . The one-day event gives players a 25,000 starting stack, with levels lasting 20 minutes.

At 2:30 p.m., Event #20, the AUD 1,350 Mystery Bounty , begins with Day 1a. Players receive 40,000 chips, with 30-minute levels.
