WPT announces Season XVIII Europe schedule in partnership with partypoker LIVE and 888poker
The Word Poker Tour has announced its Season XVIII European schedule this weekend.
The schedule will feature events hosted by numerous countries in Europe, along with an event in Montreal in Canada, and will be conducted in partnership with 888Poker and partypoker.

The WPT is now entering its 18th season, having provided countless memorable moments in the history of poker.
The scope, and appeal of the WPT continues to grow each year, and its partnership with partypoker and 888Poker this season offers further evidence that the team involved in making these events happen is filled with qualities and ideas which will continue to enrich the global live poker scene for years to come.
One such idea will be seen in action this season, as players can play days 1 and 2 of selectedWPT events online at partypoker, before playing day 3 live.
Here are some of the stops which will be brought to us by WPT and its partners in the coming months.
Stops
WPT UK Festival: October 3-6
– partypoker LIVE will help get things off the ground with an event in the UK. The festival will take place between September 22nd and October 6th, with the $3,300 Main Tour Event set to take place between October 2nd and 6th. There is a $1.5 million guarantee set aside for the Main. Players will be able to play days 1 and 2 online, before playing day 3 live. In addition to the Main Event, there is a highly anticipated DeepStack event scheduled between October 3rd and 6th too, which has a $500,000 guarantee. The festival will take place at Dusk Till Dawn Casino.
WPT Montreal Festival: October 20 – November 3
– This festival will run between October 20th and November 3rd and Will feature a CAD$550 event with a CAD$1 million (US$750,000) guarantee and a CAD$3,300 Main Tour Event with a CAD$3 million guarantee (US$2,250,000). Online day 1’s will run between October 20th and 27th. The festival, which takes place at Playground Poker Club, will close with a CAD$1,650 WPT DeepStacks event which has a guarantee of CAD$1 million.
WPT DeepStacks Brussels:November 14-17
WPT DeepStacks Brussels will begin on November 11th and will feature a €1,200 Main Tour Event and €2,200 High Roller at The Grand Casino Brussels VIAGE.
WPT DeepStacks Berlin:January 10-13
WPT DeepStacks Berlin will follow in the new year, running between January 10th and 13th with a €1,200 event taking place at Spielbank, Berlin
WPT Russia:January 20-26
The WPT Russia and WPT DeepStacks Russia events arrive later in January, with WPT Russia running between January 20th and 26th. The $3,000 Main Tour Europe event has a guarantee of $1.5 million and will take place in Sochi, with the $1,500 DeepStacks tournament running between January 23rd and 26th.
WPT DeepStacks Brussels: January 31- February 3
WPT DeepStacks Brussels then returns on January 31st, with a €1,200 event which is set to run until February 3rd.
WPT Germany:February 17-23
WPT Germany gets underway February 17th with the €3,300 Main Tour Stop set to take place at King’s Casino on the border with the Czech Republic. WPT Germany will end on February 23rd with the €1,500 WPT DeepStacks Germany event running between February 20th and 23rd.
WPT Barcelona
WPT Barcelona kicks off in March 2020, and while the full details are not yet available, there will be a WPT Main Tour Event and a WPT DeepStacks event scheduled.
WPT DeepStacks European Championship Deauville (France):April 9-12
WPT DeepStacks comes to an end in Deauville between April 9th and 12th, with the €1,500 European Championship Event at Casino Barriere Deauville. This event will be the final chapter in the WPT DeepStacks Player of the Year race.
