Every year, during the third week of July, PokerStars stages its most popular event in the Asian continent, the Asia Pacific Poker Tour, held in Manila, Philippines. Now hosting its 16th edition, the prestigious festival returns to the stunning Cove Manila, located within the world class Okada Manila resort.

With the doors now open and cards in play, APPT Manila 2025 is set to be the hotbed of poker action over the next two weeks. Running from July 23 to August 4, a total of 70 trophy events highlights the schedule and ₱141 Million (~USD 2.6M) in guarantees.

Player Amenities At Cove Manila

For the second year in a row, APPT Manila is being held at Cove Manila. This is the largest indoor beach club in Southeast Asia and for the event, it has been transformed to a one-stop-shop for players at APPT Manila. The venue offers a wide range of services within its grand space and numerous cabanas.

Players can easily sign up via the Tournament Registration booth, get a Massage, purchase PokerStars Merchandise, and for PokerStars members, there’s the VIP Lounge. The venue also features a food and bar area, along with a livestream section where fans and railbirds can enjoy the thrilling final tables.

APPT Trophies

As the festival progresses, the regal APPT shard trophies will be the most prized possessions with five up for grabs. The APPT Main Event trophy stands as the crown jewel, representing the prestige of winning the tour’s major title. APPT shard trophies can be won at these events listed below:

Alongside the coveted shards are the most recognizable trophies, the PokerStars spadies. These iconic trophies stand out for their simplicity and elegance, and are awarded to champions of the brand worldwide. The most unique trophy on display is the PokerStars Red Dragon trophy, a rare and distinctive prize, with only one player set to bring it home.

Traveler Tips

For international travelers arriving in Manila, Okada Manila is a short 10 minute drive from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and 15 minutes from Terminal 3. If you are staying onsite, visit the hotel desk to arrange transportation. Taxis are also available. To avoid getting overcharged, it is recommended to use Grab or InDrive. Just download the app. Cash is acceptable.
