TMT20 Day 20: Ascent APL Shatters Guarantee as Ori Kossonogi Leads Final 85, Jihwan Oh Claims High Roller Title
Day 20 of the 20th Taiwan Millions Tournament (TMT20) brought serious heat to the Asia Poker Arena floor as the Ascent event, sponsored by the Ace Poker League (APL) , crushed its NTD 5,000,000 guarantee. A massive field of 843 entries across four starting flights constructed a rich NTD 8,497,440 (~USD 260,000) total prize pool.
Ascent APL Down to Final 85 Contenders

From the huge starting field, only 85 players secured a bag for the final day. Every returning contender is eyeing the NTD 1,260,000 (~USD 39,000) top prize alongside the exclusive Incense Cedar Shield Trophy.
Leading the charge into the final day is Israel’s Ori Kossonogi , who bagged the overall chip lead with 776,000 chips. Right behind him on the leaderboard are Taiwan’s Shao Kang Chien, stacking up 674,000, and Chun Ting Lo, holding 640,000 chips.
Cards get back in the air today at 1:00 PM local time for the Final Day, where a new champion will ultimately be crowned.
