TMT Championship: Lo Cheng Yen Bags Overall Lead; Tae Hoon Han, Kwan Hoo Lam Win Trophies
While a storm brewed outside, it did not deter players from making their way to the Asia Poker Arena in Taipei City, Taiwan for the inaugural TMT Championship. An offshoot of the popular Taiwan Millions Tournament, the ongoing festival has been running since October 25 and has now crossed the halfway mark with Day 6 in the books.
Midway through the day, the Taiwanese government announced the closure of work and school due to the approaching Typhoon Kong-Rey. As a result, TMTC has suspended October 31 gameplay and will resume on November 1. All remaining events have been pushed forward one day. The festival now wraps up on November 5, 2024.
Now here are the highlights of TMTC Day 6.
TMT Championship Day 6 Highlights
Multiple events lit up the floor on TMT Championship Day 6 and by night’s end, the spotlight shined on Tae Hoon Han and Kwan Hoo Lam for their side event victories. Also wrapping up were the last two flights of the PFGT x Taipei Cup Mystery Bounty with Lo Cheng Yen bagging the overall chip lead for Day 2.
